Is.

It is the "Great Tribulation" which is only 3.5 years. It begins at the midpoint when the Anti-Christ breaks his peace treaty. Things get much worse then.

The Rapture happens 7 years before our return to Earth with Christ to reign with Him for 1000 years.

The Church spends 7 years in Heaven while the wicked and much of Israel spend 7 years on Earth.
Flaw

Antichrist meets his end in the temple when Jesus comes to gather us. Therefore he will have had his career.

After Jesus comes no more Beast, no more persecution/tribulation.

Jesus reigns ... through the Jews

Not what the Bible says. After the midpoint, Jews flee into the wilderness and are protected by the Lord. Antichrist is dealt with at the end of the Tribulation. Jesus rules and reigns with His saints during the Millennium (which follows the 7-year Tribulation.) After this, the New Jerusalem comes down out of heaven for the final state. The end of Revelation is very clear about these things.

Not in the temple but at the battle of Armageddon. And Jesus comes to gather His saints long before that. There is a logical sequence of events regarding the future.

According to The Commander in Chief......

It will be the worst time in in human history
"For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be."

It will be a limited time.
"for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened."

It will be a discernible time.
“So when you see standing in the holy place ‘the abomination that causes desolation,’ spoken of through the prophet Daniel—
The tribulation is not 7 years. I went to Bible college where the tribulation is taught as Daniel's last week or 7 but I could never figure out how the last week was shot into the future. It isn't. All of Daniel's weeks are accomplished. The temple was already made desolate. Now the original says time, times, time, and a half, not months like some modern translations. This doctrine has affected Bible translation. I personally believe that world war 1&2 were the horses and that we are living in a tribulation that could last 1,000 years. Look at the tribulation as a list of historical events over time. Especially see how it divides time times time and a half. Times meaning several separate times. Revelations is the prophecy of all great suffering in the future. There's no biblical proof the tribulation is 7 years. It's not the big giant people make it out to be. I say we've seen all the tribulation we're gonna see. Don't be afraid.
the mention of the great tribulation is about the desolation of Israel when Jerusalem was besieged by Rome after Jesus ascended to heaven in 67-70 ad

“And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, ( 67-70ad) then know that the desolation thereof is nigh.

Then let them which are in Judæa flee to the mountains; and let them which are in the midst of it depart out; and let not them that are in the countries enter thereinto. For these be the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled.

But woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck, in those days! for there shall be great distress in the land, and wrath upon this people. And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations:( dispersion ) and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭21:20-24‬ ‭KJV‬‬

a there’s an end to the ot covenant because they defiled it and killed Jesus the messiah

“And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.”
‭‭Daniel‬ ‭9:26‬ ‭KJV‬‬

That’s the abomination of desolation them rejecting and killing Jesus

“Hear another parable: There was a certain householder, which planted a vineyard, and hedged it round about, and digged a winepress in it, and built a tower, and let it out to husbandmen, and went into a far country: and when the time of the fruit drew near, he sent his servants to the husbandmen, that they might receive the fruits of it. And the husbandmen took his servants, and beat one, and killed another, and stoned another. ( the early prophets sent to Israel )

Again, he sent other servants more than the first: and they did unto them likewise. ( latter prophets sent tonisrsel )

But last of all he sent unto them his son, saying, They will reverence my son. ( Jesus the messiah ) But when the husbandmen saw the son, they said among themselves, This is the heir; come, let us kill him, and let us seize on his inheritance. And they caught him, and cast him out of the vineyard, and slew him.

When the Lord therefore of the vineyard cometh, what will he do unto those husbandmen? They say unto him, He will miserably destroy those wicked men, and will let out his vineyard unto other husbandmen, which shall render him the fruits in their seasons. Jesus saith unto them, Did ye never read in the scriptures,

The stone which the builders rejected, The same is become the head of the corner: This is the Lord's doing, And it is marvellous in our eyes? Therefore say I unto you, The kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭21:33-43‬ ‭KJV‬‬

It’s why Jerusalem hasn’t had a tenple on two thousand years and why a Muslim mosque now sits on the temple mound where Gods temple used to stand and on this mosque it states “ God has no son “

it’s because Jerusalem is desolate has been since 70 ad because they rejected the messiah this result happened beginning wi th Jerusalem

“and he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse.”
‭‭Malachi‬ ‭4:6‬ ‭

at he tribulation on the world began wo th th e destruction of Jerusalem nd followed th e Jews into the world as the ot promised would happen its just fulfillment of what the ot says

How do you just shoot 7 years into the future without saying. The rest of the years were chronological, why not the last 7.
daniels vision is about Babylon , media Persia , Greece and eventually Rome ruling over and destroying Jerusalem notice what happens in daniels vision when the messiah is cut off ?

“And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary;

and the end thereof shall be with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.”
‭‭Daniel‬ ‭9:26‬ ‭

this is about what happened in 70 ad because they rejected and killed the messiah thier covenant became the curse promised in it and thier desolation came

Daniel was seeing this and the end result the desolation of Jerusalem

Israel always rejected and persecuted the prophets God finally sent Jesus and this was what they did

“Having yet therefore one son, his wellbeloved, he sent him also last unto them, saying, They will reverence my son. But those husbandmen said among themselves, This is the heir; come, let us kill him, and the inheritance shall be our's. And they took him, and killed him, and cast him out of the vineyard.

What shall therefore the Lord of the vineyard do? he will come and destroy the husbandmen, and will give the vineyard unto others.”
‭‭Mark‬ ‭12:6-9‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Jerusalems rejection of Jesus cursed thier nation and made it desolate

In Matthew 24 he’s talking about the end of Jerusalem and also e end of the world much later this part is about 70 ad

“And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh.( remember what Daniel saw about the destruction of Jerusalem and it’s temple because they cut e messiah off )

Then let them which are in Judæa flee to the mountains; and let them which are in the midst of it depart out; and let not them that are in the countries enter thereinto. For these be the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled. And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭21:20-22, 24‬ ‭KJV‬‬

there’s an end to the old covenant that had to happen forst regarding Jerusalem and isreal now the New Testament is being fulfilled regarding the whole world which also is going to end in desolation

Rev 16:17-18 predicts a global earthquake so powerful on the Richter scale
that cities all over the world will collapse at once.

Something like 2,829 lost their lives when the World Trade Center was
demolished by a terrorist attack in 2001. Well that was only a few acres of
New York City. Just imagine the body count when all of Manhattan comes
down at once. along with other major cities like Los Angeles, San Francisco,
Mexico City, Paris, Moscow, Beijing, Tokyo, et al. The carnage will be beyond
belief; and a great many of the dead will be infants and underage children.

The Bible says that we should consider not only God's benevolence, but also
His severity. (Rom 11:22) We're dealing with a someone in control far more
terrifying than even the tyrants of North Korea, Communist China, Russia,
Saudi Arabia, Iran, and the awful regimes in Africa.

Heb 12:29 . . For our God is a consuming fire.

That's a quote from Deut 4:24 which, in context, doesn't describe God's
physical characteristics, rather, it's a figure of speech illustrating rage:
defined by Webster's as violent and uncontrolled anger. It's hard to imagine
Christianity's divine patron ticked off to that extent, but there it is.

* A consuming fire is one that cannot be extinguished, i.e. once it gets
going, there's no stopping till all that's aflame is utterly destroyed, viz: an
unquenchable conflagration.

Rev 8:7 . .The first angel sounded his trumpet, and there came hail and
fire mixed with blood, and it was hurled down upon the earth. A third of the
earth was burned up, a third of the trees were burned up, and all the green
grass was burned up.

There's quite a bit of destruction depicted in that verse; and I suspect it's
all aimed at agriculture.

First a portion of the soil's organic material is destroyed which will greatly
impact its fertility.

Next a portion of the trees are destroyed so that foods derived from trees--
e.g. nuts, and fruits-- will become in short supply.

And finally all the green grass; which is translated from words that suggest
crops will be just starting to mature and produce grain, e.g. corn, beans,
wheat, spelt, barley, oats, and rice; et al.

* Rice is a staple food for over ½ of the world's human population,
particularly in Asia and Africa.

NOTE: Although crops will be burned, they'll bounce back. (Rev 9:1-4)

Anyway, when food stuffs are fewer in supply, demand for them goes up,
and with that prices go up too.

Hi Jonathan,

End times prophecy can be confusing.
I was of a perspective for years because it seemed reasonable and the preacher's who taught it were sound on basic doctrines.
Each time I read the Bible through, I slowed down on the tribulation, wrath and rapture passages. I would have saved time if I had mapped out each passage to compare them side by side. Anyhow, here's a perspective you might not have considered. I can't find any holes in this, but to each their own as they study the Word. The major thing is that we have a home in heaven. I hope that you and all others have that settled. Anyway, feel free to ask about salvation. That's one topic I will usually take time to answer unless I accidentally overlook it. However, there aren't enough months in a year to debate eschatology with preachers from a dozen different backgrounds. 😄

Later,

I watched this entire 2-hour documentary and it is so compelling and TRUE. It matches the plain reading of the Bible. It such a huge shame that not a lot of people had seen it: uploaded 9 years ago and only 934 views??? Plus it only has 20 thumbs up, including mine.

This shows that that many Christians won't be ready and that the great falling away will be true. Also, those who fall away WILL betray those who endure to the end.

I'm glad that it was a blessing to you.
You are right. More should watch it.
This documentary was on many older channels that were cancelled through organized campaigns by the enemies of the Lord.

The churches who participated in the documentary went on mission trips to other countries and door to door in their communities handing out free DVDs of this and other documentaries. If someone was to fly to one of the churches with an empty suitcase, fill it with DVDs, they would be told to take all they can use and not charged a dime. These are the ways they are getting more views

Over the years I was reluctant to consider end times teaching that didn't line up with my preacher. No disrespect toward him.
I'm still learning myself.
However, the Holy Spirit teaches all believers who seek His truth through His Word.
There were questions that I had that didn't have a satisfactory answers for those years. Once certain terms were properly defined and I saw the continuity of the Scriptures, it all made sense.

Rev 16:8-11 . .Then the fourth angel poured out his bowl on the sun,
causing it to scorch everyone with its fire. Everyone was burned by this blast
of heat, and they cursed the name of God, who sent all of these plagues.
They did not repent and give him glory.

. . .Then the fifth angel poured out his bowl on the throne of the beast, and
his kingdom was plunged into darkness. And his subjects ground their teeth
in anguish, and they cursed the God of heaven for their pains and sores. But
they refused to repent of all their evil deeds.

Pharaoh stiffened his resolve during those miraculous events in the book of
Exodus, but to my knowledge he never once cursed God. Well these folks in
Revelation show just how hostile and militant the human heart can really get
in its resistance to God's demands. Pretty amazing.

The tribulation is not 7 years.

I say----- I think your Bible College or you has problems understanding the the Prophecy of the 70 weeks ------I think you need to attend a better Bible College or do some more research on your own to understand Daniel 9 and the 70 weeks ----

So some of the prophecy that was given to Daniel was fulfilled ------but then there is a future Prophecy that is still not Fulfilled -----and that is the 7 year Tribulation and the 2nd coming of Jesus ------

Notice the is a gap between the 69 and 70 weeks ------that is because this verse 24 has not been fulfilled yet ==the Gap here is the Church Age which we are in right now ------and at the end of the Church age the Rapture happens and then the 7 year tribulation begins ------

24 “Seventy ‘sevens’[a] are decreed for your people and your holy city to finish[b] transgression, to put an end to sin, to atone for wickedness, to bring in everlasting righteousness, to seal up vision and prophecy and to anoint the Most Holy Place.[c]

The Jews still are waiting for their Messiah -----and your people refer to the Jews and the Holy City is Jerusalem ---God in the Future will save the Jews during the 7 year Tribulation period --------God kept Daniel from knowing the Future as the Gentiles had not been Grafted into the fold and God kept that From the Jewish nation ----

Read all at this link ---I just posted the chart

This video unfortunately presupposes some "Post-Trib Rapture". The Bible teaches that we will return with Christ after our wedding in Heaven and the Tribulation on Earth is over. We come down with Him after the Trib, not up.

The Bible teaches:
1.) Rapture of the Church.
2.) Wedding in Heaven and Tribulation on Earth.
3.) Church returns with Christ to Earth after 7 years of Tribulation.
4.) Armageddon and 1000 year reign on Earth.
5.) New Heaven, New Earth, and New Jerusalem.

The time to prepare for the Rapture is now.
