I would like to (seriously) discuss the topic “Revelation” of the bible.

In the bible is written “{21:1} And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.”

As far as some people believe, there was a civilization on planet Mars.

Deconstructing Psalm 21:1 from the book of revelation,

And I saw a new heaven and a new earth <--this is the current earth we are on now

for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away <-- This is for example Mars or any other planet we lived on in the past.

and there was no more sea.<-- there is effidence that there was water on mars.

Could it be that the psalm 21:1 actually speaks about Mars dieing as planet (or being killed/ended by either God or humanity) and the current Earth as the new heaven and earth?

In other words the Bible is a “history” book of what has happened on Mars and that we are given a new life on the current earth?

So the revelation already took place?

No. In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth, and the earth was formless and void. And so He began shaping the earth and putting the heavens in order, and he made the sun and the stars, and the moon and the planets that reflect the light of the sun... and then He created man from the earth and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life and he became a living soul. There is, nor ever was, any life on Mars let alone civilization.

There was life elsewhere before the earth was made.

In Job, the Lord asks...

"Where were you when I laid the earth’s foundation? Tell me, if you understand. Who marked off its dimensions? Surely you know! Who stretched a measuring line across it? On what were its footings set, or who laid its cornerstone - while the morning stars sang together and all the angels shouted for joy?"

This is God establishing the complete creation to host those who would be His heirs before the heirs were created.

Man's obsession with extra-terrestrial life has been a thing from the beginning. Entire cultures are saturated with "gods" whose powers and abilities are beyond the scope of men. These are demonic entities, fallen angels, who invaded the psyche of men (by men's permission) who led men to worship what was created rather than the Creator.

This was one of the first manifestations of Adam's sin: to identify with the flesh (and creation) rather than the spirit within him and The Father who gave it.

I believe we will see more manifestations of the demonic and they will masquerade as members of "ancient civilizations" or "helpers" from other planets. The enemy will take advantage of men's foolishness and desire to be his own god and fulfill his false hope in an extraterrestrial "savior".

And how does this affect your current relationship with the Creator?

"Some people" are going down the rabbit trail that leads to damnation. Anything that draws you away from the WORD, or ADDS to the WORD, causing speculations and conspiracies are just how Satan can deceive the whole world.

You have a legitimate question about the new heaven and new earth but bringing in to the question life on Mars in the past or in the future or whatever, doesn't belong with the question. Stick to reading the WORD, and leave the insanity to those who are not seeking TRUTH.

This may be just another flight of fancy -- science fiction.
Not really.
Since we humans ONLY tend to look to what we see or did not see it shouldn't be considered fiction but more of a possibility

What earth is the bible refering to?
Can be any planet in the universe that was capable of sustaning a form a life.

It does not affect my current relationship with the almighty god.

Doing bible study and trying to understand what is written is not satanic.
Just because I have another point of view does not invalidate it nor does it invalidate the current view's by other humans.

Doing bible study and asking questions does belong to it. Its ok if you dont like it but that does not mean someone else can like it. It also does not mean its not tru. The word is the word but interpretting it is a whole different game.

Pro 30:4 Who hath ascended up into heaven, or descended? who hath gathered the wind in his fists? who hath bound the waters in a garment? who hath established all the ends of the earth? what is his name, and what is his son's name, if thou canst tell?

Instead of making ridiculous and unfounded accusations, offer something biblical, evidence-based, or at least edifying.
I pointed out what is quite evident in the OP; there's nothing ridiculous or unfounded about it- or really, even an accusation- I've observed that people who think the present earth is the biblical new earth will take you down a rabbit hole: not that I have a problem with that... I think the vast majority of my posts are in the conspiracy theory forum.

I have examined a fair bit of preterist material and have never encountered the (hogwash) idea that the present earth is the 'new earth'. If you have, my apologies.

I see. But, yeah, the idea seems to be gaining in popularity.

The way I understand Scripture, the new Jerusalem is described in Revelation as having no sun or moon. The reason for that is because God Himself will be the Light for the city. The city will be located on the new earth.

As it is, we currently have a sun and moon............

That is indeed a good point...

{21:23} And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb [is] the light thereof.

That completely invalidates my idea.... We have a sun and moon at this moment.
