Ok I can see your taking this to heart, and I don't want to be at odds ends with you over what may be somebody's last words, we both know how that feals right.

Let's go to scripture and look at a real prophet, it's somebody who has an excellent spirit,

Jeremiah 1.5 God says to Jeremiah I knew you befor you where born.

Which means Jeremiah could have been here in a previous life, that was what made him special,

Jeremiah does not apply to every person, because some people are yet to be born.

I see Blains patience and reassurance to me and others in taking time to explain, is of Good spirit.

Also if we look to the bible we see lots of prophecies being spoken to individuals,
Your ok with this?...😮😮

Jeremiah was a teen when the Lord spoke to him. A youth was not permitted to speak to the priests and elders as the Lord directed. He would be rebuked.

As far as the Lord saying he knew him before the womb .....everything on this planet is made for a purpose.... a devine design. It speaks to "God knowing the end from the beginning"

What a great post Angela. God has led me to study pretty much the way you describe and it seems I have hardly touched the surface even though it has been some years. I think you have pretty much covered all there is to say here and I appreciate it.

Thanks you for your kind words! I've also been reading your posts, and I have been very encouraged by them. Your studies are definitely leading you in the right direction. I hope we can be friends here at CC! It's good to meet a like-minded person!

That is utter heresy! That is called reincarnation. And don't think the Israelites didn't know about it. The Egyptians believed in it, and they spent some 400 years surrounded by the false Egyptian religion & culture.

Before I was saved, I too believed in reincarnation. By the end, (meaning just before Jesus saved me!) I was finding it very hard to justify. So what exactly was sent from a dead body to a baby? A soul, a heart, a memory? Obviously not! We don't retain memories of earlier lives, although some pretend to! God places a soul in us. Our heart is a part of our own unique body. God has promised he has known & saved us before the foundation of the world!

"For those whom he foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, in order that he might be the firstborn among many brothers." Romans 8:29

"For He chose us in Him, before the foundation of the world, to be holy and blameless in His sight. In love 5 He predestined us to be adopted through Jesus Christ for Himself, according to His favor and will, 6 to the praise of His glorious grace that He favored us with in the Beloved." Eph 1:4-6

No hint that we have lived multiple lives!! Just the promise that God created us, chose us in him!

Hindism & Buddhism both believe in reincarnation. People move onto their next lives, based on their good works & spiritual progress. It is a works based religion. Christ set us free from a works based religion! It is the only religion that salvation comes from a perfect God, no mistakes made! (We obey God and do works, after he saved us, not to earn or keep our salvation! James was right that we do show our faith by our works- but only after God has saved us!)

"For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— 9 not by works, so that no one can boast. 10 For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do." Eph 2:8-10

It is not of ourselves! That knocks reincarnation out of contention as a possibility after death, right there!

But the other thing about reincarnation in India, in particular, is that it led to the caste system. If the station you are born into in life is based on your works in the last life, then if you are born a Dalit, the lowest caste, for example, then it is your own fault you are ignored and hated by others - because you last life you did more bad things than good! If you are born into a high caste, well, you deserve all the perks and comforts, because, after all, you earned it with your good works & deeds in you previous life! And that results in a most evil kind of bondage! A real plan of the devil, to keep people in poverty and die young!

But worse, in 5000 years of Hinduism in India, if you deserve your caste, then no one is going to make an effort to help you, better you, include you, educate you, etc. and that was exactly how the British found it, when they ruled India! Not everything the British did in India was a good thing. They had their own, much looser class system. But even they saw how horrible the caste system was, particularly for the lower castes. Life was a dead end for those unfortunate enough to be born to a lower caste! They banished the entire thing!

I'm sure the Christian faith of the British certainly influenced them to destroy such a horrible system! I won't even get into the after life beliefs of Buddhists! I could say a lot more, but instead, I'll go back to the point of my post!

"Just as people are destined to die once, and after that to face judgment, 28 so Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many; and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him." Hebrews 9:27-28

After God saved me, and I was a new Christian, sometimes I would have doubts about whether perhaps I would be reincarnated, rather than be with Jesus when I died. It was many years of brain washing, believing in such a wrong thing. But this verse in Hebrews, lays to rest the concept of reincarnation completely!

We are destined, or appointed to die once! The verses before these also say that Jesus himself only lived, or appeared once on this earth, although he certainly returns as that same person on Judgement Day at his Second Coming!

So, you have some spiritual issues to deal with too, Fundaamental! Read the book of Hebrews a few times. It has deep theology on the purpose of Jesus as reflected in the Hebrew Scriptures, including fulfilling more than 300 of them!

I am rejoicing now, as I remember being so involved in the New Age Movement for many years, when God saved me out of those deceptive, subtle lies! I pray you to will come to understand that God had given us only one life, in which we should believe and serve Christ!

No! Jeremiah, did not live previous lives! He was special because God placed his Spirit in him, called him and he obeyed! He called Israel to repentance in many ways! He simply was a man marked by God! Never did he live other lives! Please repent of this foolish lie from the devil!

look at this account of Jeremiah the prophet, which is exactly how Blain has described his life.

This sketch of Jeremiah’s life portrays him as a courageous and persistent prophet who often had to endure physical suffering for his fidelity to the prophetic call. He also suffered inner doubts and conflicts, as his own words reveal, especially those passages that are usually called his “confessions” (Jeremiah 11:18–12:6; 15:10–21; 17:9–10, 14–18; 18:18–23; 20:7–12, 14–18). They reveal a strong conflict between Jeremiah’s natural inclinations and his deep sense of vocation to deliver Yahweh’s message to the people. Jeremiah was by nature sensitive, introspective, and perhaps shy. He was denied participation in the ordinary joys and sorrows of his fellowmen and did not marry. He thus could say, “I sat alone,” with God’s hand upon him. Jeremiah had periods of despondency when he expressed the wish that he had never been born or that he might run away and live alone in the desert. He reached the point of calling God “a deceitful brook,…waters that fail” and even accused God of deceiving and overpowering him. Yet there were times of exaltation when he could say to God, “Thy words became to me a joy and the delight of my heart,” and he could speak of Yahweh as “a dread warrior” fighting by his side.

As a prophet, Jeremiah pronounced God’s judgment upon the people of his time for their wickedness. He was concerned especially with false and insincere worship and failure to trust Yahweh in national affairs.

Worse & worse! You are obviously implying Blain is the reincarnation of Jeremiah! I've known Blain a long time, and he would be embarrassed and humiliated by your irrational and utter nonsense in the pronouncement, that he was the reincarnation of this ancient prophet!

Are you even a Christian? I ask this sincerely! Do you understand the plan of salvation? Have you read the Bible from front to end? Do you attend a Bible believing church? You have syncretistic beliefs. They are without value! For you, these false beliefs are golden chains, holding you back from the Kingdom of God!

Jeremiah’s Complaint
12 You are always righteous, Lord,
when I bring a case before you.
Yet I would speak with you about your justice:
Why does the way of the wicked prosper?
Why do all the faithless live at ease?
2 You have planted them, and they have taken root;
they grow and bear fruit.
You are always on their lips
but far from their hearts.
3 Yet you know me, Lord;
you see me and test my thoughts about you.
Drag them off like sheep to be butchered!
Set them apart for the day of slaughter!
4 How long will the land lie parched
and the grass in every field be withered?
Because those who live in it are wicked,
the animals and birds have perished.
Moreover, the people are saying,
“He will not see what happens to us.”
God’s Answer
5 “If you have raced with men on foot
and they have worn you out,
how can you compete with horses?
If you stumble[a] in safe country,
how will you manage in the thickets by[b] the Jordan?
6 Your relatives, members of your own family—
even they have betrayed you;
they have raised a loud cry against you.
Do not trust them,
though they speak well of you.

I believe he may be talking about the kingdom of heaven, the restoration of the Israel's kingdom on earth. It is a visible kingdom where the Lord Jesus will rule and reign from David's throne in Jerusalem.
Yes ... but that is a new dispensation .. post Rap

The Kingdom is here but it is not yet manifest ... we's supposed to be making it manifest

Some more rellivence to blains prophecy for the people of the church today, Which is God's Judgment upon us, including me.

Please watch it and let's hope our brother Blain gets re-invited to come back to us, as i highly suspect God has called blain to sit alone with him again.

I agree Blain. Here is a part of a prophecy many years ago.

In Christ Alone.

The Lord says -

`It is not the towering ability of individual men that will bring the close of this dispensation to an end, but it will be the ripening, the moulding, the perfecting of a Body of People that will be peculiarly Mine.

There will be no possibility for `flesh` to glory, for all will be interwoven one into the other, and in the centre of them will be the fires of Divine Affection, in the centre of them will be the seeds of Divine Love, in the centre of them will be the deposit of the eternal Purpose of God;

And when that time will come, it will be far greater! - drawing from the earth a people (who have been Mine) in the sense of rapture; it will be the carrying away from the earth of that functional Organ from the realm of Time into its Eternal Setting.`

Prophetic Word (part of) from the Apostolic Convention in Penygroes, 1943.
Prophetic Ministry through Pastor J.D. Eynon.
the fires of divine affection?

this goes on constantly among certain groups and most of them have apostolic something interwoven in their names

in the sense of rapture? let's just make it up as we go along smh who needs the Bible when you have all these prophets

What is more then likely going on in this thread, is that some people believe in the gift of prophecy. While others do not. Well then there are also some that believe in the gift, but do not believe Blaine. Blaine is my friend, and I talk to him on the phone a lot. I can see what he is trying to say, and I do believe he gets dreams and or visions from God.
I saw that one coming. I almost asked you if you and he were friends.

Niki7 makes some good points on some things she feels or errors, and I understand her points. He is trying to share what he believes is a message. Did he word it correctly for bible scholars, not really. He said he is a prophet, because others said that to him and maybe has called him to sure this message for some to be encouraged be it. That would mean that he being a prophet to some, and not others. Prophet is a job title for the most part. As Niki pointed out " perhaps we are not ready to study the word " would seem to not be the Biblically correct.
You do understand that the Bible explicitly tells us to study? I hope you do. Blain walks by his visions and dreams; all of which are extra biblical. I'm not sure certain people understand the import of that. The NT warns of teaching spirits...evil spirits...who speak through those who are deceived and who are leading others into deception. You cannot say you are a prophet and ignore scripture or say don't study. I think you are being kind in your assessment here.

He is not doing spirit writing or automatic writing. the occult practice of spirit writing is where a person gives up their control to a demon and then the demon writes. Blaine is doing a scribe thing.
Yes? Are you able to describe this 'scribe' thing? Stop making excuses. Don't add to scripture...we have much we can say about scripture but when you start adding to it, it is going beyond and ends in deception. Don't you realize all the cults of the world have extra books/scriptures that they hold in the same esteem as the Bible?

if you read the whole thread certain individuals are only interested in mocking, it's quite consistent, it's just another thread that goes down the sink hole, that ends fruitless, when it could have been so much more.

There not interested whether prophets get prophecies through visions or dreams, or directly by talking to God. There not interested.
How interested are you in the blood of Christ saving you from your sin? No one is mocking here. What God has revealed to some with regards to deception was learned through real life situations and quite a bit of pain and suffering and here you are, posturing that Blain may be a reincarnated Jeremiah. What's next? Necromancy?

27Just as man is appointed to die once, and after that to face judgment, 28so also Christ was offered once to bear the sins of many; and He will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who eagerly await Him. Hebrews 9

The mockers with there snyde attitude won't even answer post 145, which clearly shows the same life style Jeremiah the prophet had to blain from character to disassociation.
also the same firey tribulations same manner same suffering and same Judgment of prophecy on the people of the church.
The deeper we go into what several people here seem to believe, the more it resembles the content of a septic tank.

Yes I said that.

they've decided to scoff Blain's prophecy personally, scoff his devotion and his credibility instead,

And now calling him a mentally retarded nutcase.

If you look closely you'll even see inviting him in with a friendly gestures just to insult him.

You can see now why prophecies of judgement are needed for people of The church.

The ones who accept them have no issues, the one who don't, well let's just say perhaps the prophecy was for them.

I'm done with this thread, and I have 2 new members on my ignore, and two more very nearly on there too.

Anyway let's all praise the lord for another wonderful thread that goes down the plug hole, and let's all praise the lord together for what could be wonderful send of for blain, for all we know he could have passed away allready.

And the last thing he ever heard was absolute hatred.

Yes? Where, in which post, did someone call Blain a nutcase or insult him in a personal manner?

Is the truth in you? Somewhere? What you believe is occult practices and beliefs. You never answered me when I asked you twice, when you were saved.

So, when were you saved?

I've had many conversations with Blain in the past and he has consistently criticized me for trusting in the Bible more than his words of "prophecy." Apparently I'm living in a "box." Well, I know this much: I'd rather be safe within the four walls of the sheepfold than out there and vulnerable to every wolf that comes along.

I almost hesitate to say this, but it is possible for a person to hear what is not said or understand completely different than what is written.

There can be more than one reason for this.

medical

poor comprehension/reading skills

they lie

demonic influence due to open doors, lack of repentance of sin and so on

Conclusion:

Some people are not at liberty to understand and are influenced negatively when the truth is presented
