I have not found that to be true at all.
And vice versa. Yet despite these unseemly prejudices, I have always won my case in our various debates. Overwhelmingly. The caseload was just too voluminous and convincing.

You know, I have to credit TDW. I switched from pre-trib Magog invasion to post trib. He convinced me in one single solitary post. How and why? By his rightly dividing the truth and because he was obviously correct.

I am always flexible and willing to change my position if the biblical arguments are strong enough. Always.

Yet you continue to deny that God alone is immortal, despite Scripture plainly saying so.

Scripture is obviously correct and you are obviously wrong but you will not admit it.

You just like to puff yourself up and blow your own horn. So be it. Bye for now.

Did I say you had?
It was your guilty conscience condeming your own dishonesty. I had nothing to do with it. And PLEASE do not engage me in an argument with your guilty conscience. I really don't want to deal with the both of you.

Very much agree. I notice Magenta sometimes mocks her opponents.
And when you say people are flakes or flaky, what do you call that?

Shall I start taking notice of every little thing you do that may be
objectionable to someone else, regardless how much truth is in it?

And making public comments to others about you regarding them?

I don't remember calling anyone flaky or a flake?

As to the latter I pointed out something anyone else could see.

But I should have said it directly to you, I do admit.

I thought it was a post of yours but I could be wrong. I glanced at it as I was
reading through a thread earlier, and I do apologize if it was not you who said it.

I’m assuming he was saving the captives. The righteous who had died before him that were in Abraham’s bosom. Also I read a verse that says he may have gone to Hades to proclaim to the spirits that rejected his name in the days of Noah. Anyone have any insight on this?
The Lord Jesus Christ “gave up the ghost,” was laid in the sepulchre,
rose from the dead on the third day,
took his blood,
now placed on the mercy seat
in the Holy place,
in the tabernacle in heaven
(Hebrews 9:11, 12 KJV)
He then went to Hades/Hell,
where there was a “great gulf fixed,”
with paradise (Abrahams bosom) on one side,
and the place of torment on the other side,
To lead “captivity captive,” “spirits of just men made perfect,”
1 Corinthians 15:6 KJV
After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep.

Luke 16:26 KJV
…so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot;…..
Ephesians 4:8-10 KJV
Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive,…
[9] (… he ascended, …. he also descended first into the lower parts of the earth? [10] …..that he might fill all things.)
Hebrews 12:22 KJV
But ye are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels,
To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits of just men made perfect,

It's wrong if one is trying to earn their way to heaven.
In the book of James it says that faith without works is a dead faith. Jesus made mention that when you do something for the least of your brothers and sisters you do the same for him.

Catholicism is a works-based religion, not to mention the idolatry and horrors they have inflicted on true believers throughout history.
Faith without works is a dead faith, this is true for any denomination or religion.

Works of men don't redeem bro.
In the book of James, it specifically states that faith without works is dead faith. Works, by the grace of God are a manifestation of one's standing in the eyes of God. You are correct in saying that works in themselves don't redeem.

Careful there... = ) My view is that the Gog-Magog War (Ezek38-39) occurs after OUR RAPTURE (like, some time early in the Trib [as part of the Seal 2 wars]--not "post-trib"... which, I think MAYBE you meant to say it the other way... not sure).

Just clarifying. = )

[post-RAPTURE... lol]

God expects you to understand what the scriptures are saying.

The devil is extremely good at impersonating dead people. That's why they're called familiar spirits.
God expects you to understand his words, not try to read into a gotcha moment. His word as given by the Spirit says Samuel. One must not change it to fit a theology. Change your theology to fit the words of God.

If that man ceased to exist than he never existed again. best case is an identical copy was later created and deceived into thinking he was the original, and we all likewise believed the lie that the new copy was in fact the actual original man.

If that man exists at any point after his physical demise, he never ceased to exist. all that happened was that he stopped existing in the material, physical world and instead existed elsewhere in some non-physical reality.

If your dog died and I gave you a clone of your dog, would you be satisfied that the clone is the same dog?
I believe God is able to raise a person who has died from the dead. The exact same person, not a "clone."

The second chapter of Jonah is a mite difficult to follow, but from what I
gather; a portion of his nautical adventure was spent in a place called sheol;
which Jonah located at the bottoms of the mountains and walled in by the
Earth.

Well the curious thing is; Jonah relates a prayer that he prayed while down
there. Wouldn't he have to be conscious for that?

That second chapter also implies that Jonah was quite dead during most of
his body's repose in the fish's tummy and underwent a resurrection just
prior to being barfed ashore.

If in fact Jonah was deceased, and if he really was walled in deep
underground, and if in fact he underwent a resurrection, then his experience
is a perfect parallel to Christ's per Matt 12:40.

The woman had a demon. People tend to forget that.
