What do you make of John 14:30?Can you see the irony in your last reference?
What do you make of John 14:30?Can you see the irony in your last reference?
All of us.Of you too?
He is good
John answers it in 1 John 2:16...hence why God in raising up a son with sins flesh overcame it!What do you make of John 14:30?
He became good...a work which resulted in his death....you get this right?therefore He is God
therefore He is incorruptible
therefore the doctrine you are trying to teach us is incorrect
The Pharisees denied the deity of Jesus and put Him to death. Is Jesus God?All of us.
Christians approach the Word with a confirmation bias toward defending flawed doctrines so it falls on us to test everything. Many don't like being tested...it hurts when a more profound truth is presented, and it requires the letting go of previously held beliefs.
That's the type of pain the pharisees felt from the Lord. But for the most they were unteachable. F2F
Jesus isn't saying that Satan has no part in Him because He had no sin nature?John answers it in 1 John 2:16...hence why God in raising up a son with sins flesh overcame it!
The Bible story is rather simple its all the philosophy man has assigned to it which has caused Christians much strife.

Can you see the bias in your reply? The Pharisees denied the deity of Jesus and put Him to death. Is Jesus God?
I know to be able to remain on the site, answering this question is tricky for some. But perhaps the answer to this question is a bias you may need to consider.
The devil was destroyed on the cross i.e sin's power broken! The Prince of this world has been overcome!Jesus isn't saying that Satan has no part in Him because He had no sin nature?
This was before the cross. The devil was destroyed on the cross i.e sin's power broken! The Prince of this world has been overcome!
Not sure what Bible you are reading sorry.

There are two (2) verses that may be used to support the belief that Jesus Christ raised himself from the dead, and a couple dozen verses that plainly and clearly say that God raised Jesus Christ from the dead. Do the math.John 2:19-22
Jesus answered and said to them,
"Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up."
Then the Jews said,
"It has taken forty-six years to build this temple, and will You raise it up in three days?"
But He was speaking of the temple of His body.
Therefore, when He had risen from the dead, His disciples remembered that He had said this to them; and they believed the Scripture and the word which Jesus had said.
He raised Himself.
Yes scripture also says God raised Him, and that He rose by the Spirit.
There is only one reconciliation of these things, and that is the deity of Jesus Christ.
I guess I need to unpack this for you. This was before the cross.
This type of commonsense could take you deeper into all truth! There are two (2) verses that may be used to support the belief that Jesus Christ raised himself from the dead, and a couple dozen verses that plainly and clearly say that God raised Jesus Christ from the dead. Do the math.
If Jesus raised himself from the dead, was he really dead? And if Jesus wasn't really dead, did he really pay the price for our sins?
But if he couldn't sin, then he was neither tempted nor tested.Satan tested Him in the wilderness looking for a way to tempt Him, and to find a way to snare Him. The pharisees, sadducees and herodians constantly tested Him first to see if He really was the Messiah and then to see how they could find a way to trap, condemn and kill Him for His words and actions.
I'm not reading anything into it. Before the cross Jesus said Satan was coming and had nothing in Him. He's saying He is sinless.I guess I need to unpack this for you.
Jesus here was referring to the religious rulers as per 1 Corinthians 2:7-8
7 No, we declare God’s wisdom, a mystery that has been hidden and that God destined for our glory before time began. 8 None of the rulers of this age understood it, for if they had, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.
Like I said\, and I will say it again...Jesus destroyed all those who would be deceived by the Lust of the Flesh, the Lust of the Eyes and the Pride of Life....here you referenced the religious elite who desired to retain their power under Roman rule by crucifing their Messiah.
I don't know what you are reading into the text buts it's as clear is the cloudless sky I'm looking at outside my window.

Also note; these authorities (prince of that Israelitish world) had no hold on Christ at all!
You should stop presenting yourself as though you know everything. It's quite off-putting.This type of commonsense could take you deeper into all truth!
