Unless we see the absolute holiness, righteousness, and perfection of God and Christ, we will not understand why Hell was created in the first place.

God and Christ hate sin and iniquity, since those are the exact opposite of holiness and righteousness. Just as normal humans hate filth, God hates the filth of idolatry, wickedness, rebellion, witchcraft and sinfulness. Therefore He has reserved a place for everything abominable, and that is called “Hell”. In fact it is “the Lake of Fire”. Therefore we read:
But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death. (Rev 21:8)

But Hell was created for the devil and his angels in the first place, since they rebelled against God and were cast out of Heaven. There is no redemption for spirit beings, and all angels are spirit beings.
Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels: (Mt 25:41)

While his angels are not specifically mentioned in Revelation 20:10, the devil is clearly mentioned:
And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever. This happens after the Millennium and after the battle of Gog and Magog.

It follows then that this fire in the Lake of Fire is supernatural. It is not only everlasting or eternal, but it is such that it will impact seriously upon spirit beings, and cause them actual eternal torment, which we cannot even imagine.

The Beast (the Antichrist) and the False Prophet precede the devil into the Lake of Fire. This happens at the end of the battle of Armageddon:
And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.

Hell (the Lake of Fire) is called “Gehenna” in the New Testament, and God does not want a single human being to go to Hell. Thus we have this solemn warning from Christ Himself:

And whosoever shall offend one of these little ones that believe in me, it is better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he were cast into the sea. And if thy hand offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter into life maimed, than having two hands to go into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched: Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched. And if thy foot offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter halt into life, than having two feet to be cast into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched: Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched. And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out: it is better for thee to enter into the kingdom of God with one eye, than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire:Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.

What was Jesus saying? If any of your limbs or organs cause you to sin, it is better to lose them in this life than to go into Hell for eternity. But the truth of the matter is that no man or woman can pay for their sins, or atone for their evil deeds. Therefore God provided His own Lamb of God to take away the sins of the world. And now all men are commanded to repent and believe on the Lord Jesus Christ.

14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up: 15That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. 16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. 18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. 19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. 20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. 21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.

The word translated as “perish” means eternal damnation. God wants no one to face eternal damnation. Therefore He now commands all men everywhere to repent (Acts 17:30). If all would repent, all would be saved. God desires the salvation of the world of humanity.

This is an interesting on where Judas hung himself ------

The death of Judas
https://www.thebiblejourney.org/biblejourney1/6-jesuss-last-journey-to-jerusalem/the-death-of-judas/

Matt. 27:5-10
Judas leaves the Old City, crosses the Valley of Hinnom (Hebrew, ‘Ge Hinnom’), where the smouldering fires of rubbish in 'Gehenna' had been used by Jesus as a picture of eternal punishment (Matthew 18:9), and kills himself at Akeldama (the ‘Field of Blood’) (see Acts 1:18-19

The Valley of Hinnom

In the 6th century BC, the Valley of Hinnom (see Map 13) had been the site of Topheth (‘the fireplace’) where children were sacrificed to the god Molech.

The Greek name for this valley, Gehenna, had become the common Jewish name for ‘hell’ by this time, symbolising a place of eternal punishment (see Mark 9:47 & Matthew 18:9, where the Greek word usually translated ‘hell’ is Gehenna).

While the Temple Mount was the highest point in Jerusalem (and therefore closest to God’s 'home' in the heavens),

Gehenna, in contrast, was at the lowest point of the city (and therefore closest to Sheol, the ‘underworld’ or world of the dead) (see Amos 9:2 & Habakkuk 2:5)

This isn’t about hell it’s about the lake of fire at the judgement.

“Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭25:41‬ ‭KJV‬‬

The lake of fire was prepared for Satan and his angels

hell will be destroyed in the lake of fire after the people in hell are raised up for judgement

“And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.

And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.

And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.”
‭‭Revelation‬ ‭20:13-15‬ ‭KJV‬‬

matthew 25 is about the final judgement
And lake of fire , hell is a holding place for the wicked until judgement it’s current and many dead are there now but at the judgement hell will deliver up the dead in it and be cast itself into the second death and the people will then be judged by Jesus Christ and the gospel according to thier deeds

hell isn’t the same as the lake of fire it’s temporary until the final judgement

The way I figure it: seeing as how God is an intelligent, mature adult (so to
speak) who's never petty, nor capricious, nor biased, nor fickle, nor
impulsive, nor unreasonable, and takes no kind of sick pleasure in causing
people harm; then God must be just as stuck with Hell and can't make it go
away with any more ease than we can.

For reasons I have yet to even guess, Hell is unavoidable even for God
because it's somehow the right thing to do; i.e. it has to be utilized for
punishment in order to satisfy a level of justice that our limited little minds
may never be able to fully grasp.

Ps 145:17 . .The Lord is righteous in all His ways

Yes.

Death and Hell are spirits.

Death had a legal right to take all who were in sin. Hell had a legal right to keep them in death.

When Jesus died without sin, He triumphed over Death and Hell. By taking Jesus, they over-extended their authority and, consequently, lost the right to rule their domains. That is why Jesus, the one who was greater than both spirits, could demand the keys from Death and Hell.

His triumph over Death and Hell for foretold in the Psalms:

For You will not leave my soul in Sheol,
Nor will You allow Your Holy One to see corruption.

Jesus now holds the authority of both Death and Hell.

"I am He who lives, and was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore. Amen. And I have the keys of Hades and of Death."

This gives Him the authority of final judgement over the spirits of Death and Hell. That is why we see, at the Great White Throne Judgement, both Death and Hell thrown into the lake of fire: the ultimate end to their reign over creation and man.

Hmm maybe no place was found in heaven for them so He made a place for them where He is not there. We know it was not made for man. I guess it depends on how you look at it. Showing mercy. Made for them since they can not create. I could just run with speculation but allot is not written. Not something we need to know.

How did you arrive at that conclusion? There is only one Hell (called Gehenna). "Where their worm dieth not and the fire is not quenched" speaks of the Lake of Fire. Christ said that Hell was created for the devil and his angels, and where do you eventually find the devil? In the Lake of Fire. I gave you all the connected verses so now you need to retract that statement.

It is HADES which is temporary (and mistakenly called "hell"). The KJV translators did a great disservice by using the term "hell" indiscriminately for three different regions.

“How did you arrive at that conclusion?”

by reading the Bible and accepting what it says and intentionally not adding in things I think and have heard from other religions and ideas instead I arrived there like this

“And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them:

and they were judged every man according to their works.

And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.”
‭‭Revelation‬ ‭20:13-15‬ ‭

People who have died like these two guys go to two different places to wait for the day of judgement

“And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom:

the rich man also died, and was buried; and in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments,

and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭16:22-

The dead in hell are going to be raised up to life and judged according ton thier deeds at that point hell is going to be destroyed thrown into the lake of fire

“Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice, and shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life;

and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.”
‭‭John‬ ‭5:28-29‬ ‭KJV

Im not sure how one doesn’t come to that conclusion unless they just have a need to always perceive the selves as right

it just says what it says the final judgement this will all happen just like it says

“And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. ( the world has ended )

And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; ( the dead are raised and judged ) and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.

And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them:( death and hell have delivered up to dead who waited in them ) and they were judged every man according to their works. ( people who were in hell now are raised up and judged by thier deeds )

And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.

And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.”
‭‭Revelation‬ ‭20:11-15‬ ‭KJV‬‬

it seems pretty basic to me but everyone does have thier own opinions also , to me it’s about what’s plainly written and not interpreting everything away but just hearing it and letting that teach us

It’s a matter of asking has the final judgement occurred already? If it hasn’t then where are the dead right now ? Some are with Jesus in his kingdom others are in a waiting place for wicked people

“Death and Hell are spirits.”

id say “ entities “ but yes indeed “ creatures “ spiritual principles “

“Death had a legal right to take all who were in sin. Hell had a legal right to keep them in death.”

amen exactly because of man breaking the very first commandment regarding life and death and the subsequent law which came after that in response to sin and gave death and hell it’s grip upon us

The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.”
‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭15:56‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭7:6‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“When Jesus died without sin, He triumphed over Death and Hell. By taking Jesus, they over-extended their authority and, consequently, lost the right to rule their domains. That is why Jesus, the one who was greater than both spirits, could demand the keys from Death and Hell.”

amen great stuff and look at this part how he has included us

“Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?

Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: ( without sin ) that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection: knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭6:3-6‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“This gives Him the authority of final judgement over the spirits of Death and Hell. That is why we see, at the Great White Throne Judgement, both Death and Hell thrown into the lake of fire: the ultimate end to their reign over creation and man.”

indeed because this event ends this world

“And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.”
‭‭Revelation‬ ‭20:11‬ ‭KJV‬‬

And leads here

“And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.

And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.

And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful. And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely. He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.

But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.”( this happened in chapter 20)
‭‭Revelation‬ ‭21:1, 3-8‬ ‭KJV‬‬

In eternity there’s not going to be any suffering and torment and pain or tears because the first creation has ended in a hail of heavenly fire the second death

We know the Sons of God [Angels] in Genesis 6 created the Nephillim that God had to kill in the Flood of Noah.

1 Peter 3:19-20 clearly explains during the period of DEATH from the Cross until His Resurrection, Jesus went to the Prison [HELL] that held the [SPIRITS or FALLEN ANGELS] (JUDE speaks of this the Angels chased Strange Flesh [human women]) and notice Peter connects this to the Flood of Noah to Preach the Gospel these FALLEN Angels tried to stop by creating a race of being to stop the eventual coming of the Messiah.

1 Peter 3:19-20 also shows this prison [HELL] was designed for the Fallen Angels.

Humans ended up there out of Free Will of Disobedience towards God.

FAQ: According to Rev 20:14, John saw Death discarded in a lake of fire.
Well; death is an abstract. How then can it be spoken of as an object that
can be picked up and thrown like a baseball or a javelin?

REPLY: That passage is likely speaking of Death as a category consisting of
everything and anything one can possibly imagine that God considers dead
to Himself, i.e. whatever it is with which and/or with whom, He prefers not
to associate.

In that respect, the lake of fire could be thought of as a sanitary landfill, viz:
there's a really big Spring cleaning pending on God's to-do list.

“know the Sons of God [Angels] in Genesis 6 created the Nephillim that God had to kill in the Flood of Noah.”

“which was the son of Enos, which was the son of Seth, which was the son of Adam, which was the son of God.”
‭‭Luke‬ ‭3:38‬ ‭KJV‬‬

No angel has ever been a son of God that’s reserved for man

“So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. ( the only creature made after his image and likeness is man his children )

And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.”
‭‭Genesis‬ ‭1:27-28‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Angels are not Gods children they are his ministers who minister to his hiers his children

“being made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they. For unto which of the angels said he at any time, Thou art my Son, This day have I begotten thee? And again, I will be to him a Father, And he shall be to me a Son?

And again, when he bringeth in the firstbegotten into the world, he saith, And let all the angels of God worship him.

And of the angels he saith, Who maketh his angels spirits, And his ministers a flame of fire.

But to which of the angels said he at any time, Sit on my right hand, Until I make thine enemies thy footstool? Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?”
‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭1:4-7, 13-14‬ ‭KJV‬‬

the hiers of God are mankind and angels are the spiritual ministers unto them

children are born of flesh and blood they live and die

Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, ( not angels ) he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil; and deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.

For verily he took not on him the nature of angels; but he took on him the seed of Abraham.

Wherefore in all things it behoved him to be made like unto his brethren, that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people.”
‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭2:14-17‬ ‭KJV‬‬

The reason a thiers of the the angels lost thier estate is trying to stop Jesus from accomplishing salvation on earth and going to war against him in heaven after he ascended tonthe throne so in other words the angels lost thoer eatwte here not because they had sex with women but because of this

“And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads. And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born. And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne. And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, and prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven.

And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.”
‭‭Revelation‬ ‭12:3-5, 7-9‬ ‭KJV‬‬

that’s why they lost thier place in heaven which was thier home beforehand but Satan began a rebellion and came to earth corrupting and receiving mankind eventually trying to corrupt Jesus and stop him from accomplishing salvstion

didnyou ever notice during the gospel Satan is on earth too ? Trying to deceive and corrupt Jesus ? Derail him from his mission ?

“Then was Jesus led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil.

Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them; and saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭4:1, 8-9‬ ‭KJV‬‬

age was trying to destroy Jesus by corrupting him then His death wouldnt have mattered d he would t have raised back up because he would have become a sinner like we are

also notice all of the evil spirits in the gospel suddenly appearing wheras in the Old Testament you rarely read of any evil spirit or any spiritual being but in the gospel when Jesus comes all the sudden evil spirits are everywhere possessing people ?

those are his angels that followed the rebellion when Jesus came to save us the devil and his angels didn’t want man saved so they tried to derail gods plan to save us and lost thier place in heaven

The sons of God aren’t angels they are mankind

those God chose to create on his own image and likeness as all choldren become e image and likeness of their father

at he angels rebelled against man’s salvstion plan so tries to corrupt Jesus and destroy the plan but of course our hero overcame and stomped out thier rebellion even though it took him to the cross

then afterwards the war in heaven happened and they lost thier estate forever

The interesting thing about it is that death is judged according to its sins. Think about that. Death sinned.

How did you arrive at that conclusion? There is only one Hell (called Gehenna). "Where their worm dieth not and the fire is not quenched" speaks of the Lake of Fire. Christ said that Hell was created for the devil and his angels, and where do you eventually find the devil? In the Lake of Fire. I gave you all the connected verses so now you need to retract that statement.

It is HADES which is temporary (and mistakenly called "hell"). The KJV translators did a great disservice by using the term "hell" indiscriminately for three different regions.
I have read your posts lately and you are moving further and further away from the truth of the King James Bible. Who has deceived you? Hell is everlasting fire. Hell is cast into the lake of fire. The KJV is clear and defines itself, no need to go to an outside source for definitions.

Therefore we read: But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

While his angels are not specifically mentioned in Revelation 20:10, the devil is clearly mentioned: And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.

This happens at the end of the battle of Armageddon: And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image.

May I ask a question?
Just trying to get it clear in my head,
“The battle of that great day of God Almighty” in revelation 16, appears to begin at the end of the 7 year period of tribulation.
So is the battle of Armageddon and Gog & Magog, one and the same, that occurs at the end of the 1,000 year reign of Christ.

No. Actually the two battles are separated by the 1,000 years. Armageddon is immediately after the Second Coming (Rev 19). Gog anf Magog is immediately after the Millennium (Rev 20).

I have read your posts lately and you are moving further and further away from the truth of the King James Bible. Who has deceived you?
No one has deceived me. You need to go back to the Greek Received Text (the Textus Receptus) to determine what is true and what is not. Hell (Gehenna) is indeed everlasting Fire (the Lake of Fire). But Hades is the place of departed souls and spirits in the heart of the earth. That is where Christ went for three days and three nights. It should have simply been called "Hades". So it is Hades which is metaphorically cast into the Lake of Fire (meaning that all the occupants of Hades end up in the Lake of Fire). Hades is personified in the book of Revelation, so let me show you the Greek.

And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him... (Rev 6:8)
Stephanus Textus Receptus 1550

*Hades = the abode of departed spirits (Strong's)

And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. (Rev 20:13,14)
Stephanus Textus Receptus 1550
*Hades = the abode of departed spirits (Strong's)

For "Gehenna" see Mark 9:42-48. This is everlasting fire.
