Your false theory is a perfect example of eternal salvation accomplished by your works. You are one of the lost sheep of the house of Israel, of whom the remnant of the house of Israel are instructed to teach you a knowledge of the righteousness of God, and to repent of believing in the old law of works for your eternal salvation.

You have not lost your eternal inheritance, but you have lost your fellowship with your God, until you repent of belittling God, claiming that his will is to eternally save all mankind, but that he doesn't have the power over mankind's will to resist him (Dan 4:35).

If you don’t have faith in Jesus Christ, you don’t have eternal life, regardless of Jesus’ faithfulness in going to the cross.

I realise that God has blinded your eyes to see, and understand the truth, but you have quoted a scripture that is in direct contrast to your salvation by works theory.

Rom 1:7 - The saints in Rome were "called" to be saints. They didn't become saints by their choosing. also in 1 Cor 1:2.

Rom 8:28 - Them that love God, are called according to his purpose.

Rom 8:30 - Those that were conformed to the image of his Son, were predestinated, called, justified, and glorified.

Rom 9:24 - Even us, whom he hath called.

1 Cor 1:26-31 - Not many wise, or noble, or mighty are called. He that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord (not in himself)

That is why I am telling you to repent, because you have rejected the Lord's word, in believing that he taught eternal salvation is accomplished by your good works.


Those "that hear and accept" are his sheep who are already born again (John 10:25-29)

You are perfectly right, that's how it came in everyone's case. The Holy Spirit, in which faith is a fruit of, indwells a person when they are quickened to the new spiritual mlife.

And that's often the case. For others, God's purposes were better suited to do so over a period of time.

The truth is found in John 1:12,13: But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

So the sequence of events is as shown above, in which we must include (1) the gift of the Holy Spirit (Acts 2:38) and (2) the supernatural regeneration by the Spirit (Titus 3:4-7).

1. The true Gospel -- the Word of God -- is preached.
2. Faith in Christ is generated by the Gospel along with the Holy Spirit's work on the heart.
3. Those who believe on the Savior also receive Him as Lord and Savior.
4. Therefore they receive the gift of the Holy Spirit also, and are sealed at that time.
5. The Holy Spirit supernaturally regenerates them and makes them children of God.
6. The Holy Spirit also baptizes them (immerses them) into the Body of Christ at that time.

God does not give the gift of the Holy Spirit to unbelievers.

I sometimes find it disconcerting on this site that believers can so easily dismiss other believers. We all hold some truth in error.
Personally, as I have grown in the faith, I find my own errors to be related to an erroneous understanding of who God actually is. And as God has been pleased to more fully reveal Himself, my understanding was made fuller and my beliefs have been altered.
If I know this in my own experience, I should also know it will be a part of every believers walk. I have found patience and gentleness are much better means of persuasion than the hammer of truth.
