"Orientation" is nothing but a big copout. My "orientation" for a long time was promiscuity and substance abuse.

Sexual orientation refers to an individuals enduring pattern of emotional, romantic and/or sexual attractions to men, women or both sexes. Sexual orientation also refers to a person’s sense of identity based on those attractions, related behaviors and membership in a community of others who share those attractions. Sexual orientation is distinct from other components of sex and gender, including biological sex (the anatomical, physiological and genetic characteristics associated with being male or female), gender identity (the psychological sense of being male or female),* and social gender role (the cultural norms that define feminine and masculine behavior).

But that was clearly an unhealthy way to live, and not God's plan for me. Orientation isn't written in stone; it's changeable. Orientation has become an excuse for people who don't want to face reality and who love their sin.

I think Christians have a weird obsession with homosexuality. Why be that pressed over something that has no effect on you or your life? The Bible also says gluttony is a sin but I bet you're not going to a buffet and slapping a donut out of someone's hand

Personally, I know several homosexuals and bisexual individuals. Some are not just good friends but they are family. I get a lot of insight from them alone. Before I was serving God, I partied with several of them. We never had any problems or moments where they understood my position nor me understanding their position.

In fact, before I really knew what God thought about them I always thought someone had to be off their rocker to find same sex as normal. They even had a nickname for me. They called me Breeder like any heterosexual would be.

So I don't think religion has a lot to do with how heterosexuals view homosexuals. The majority just happen to have similar views with religion without being religious themselves.

Paul Cameron the founder of the Family Research Council published a book Special Report: AIDS, which He submitted to the secetrary of health and human services and the Surgeon General advocated establishing massive concentration camps immediately for "sexually active homosexuals," and any that might "conceivably become sexually active". His proposal for funding these camps included selling tickets for citizens to come to the camp and watch homosexuals being tortured, mutilated and executed. It's good to know that this was in no way persecution but just that Cameron disagreed with homosexuals.

The court sided with him because he refused because of his religious beliefs. Not because he didn't want to serve the couple. smh

If a straight couple walked in and asked for something vulgar to be put on a cake, or a group of men came in and wanted something vulgar for a bachelor party, they would all have been refused. Did he discriminate against all of them?? Nope!




I only know of the one story.

the baker doesn't make vulgar cakes for anyone so his refusal has nothing to do with who the customers are. THe baker did however make wedding cake but he refused to provide that service and broke the law.
