Why isn't this a place to discuss equal rights?
I know right. Like excuse me for being a patriotic American who honors the Constitution that people gave their lives to defend.
My grandfather fault not she's in Germany and those men didn't give their lives for America to become a theocracy.
All Americans are entitled to the same constitutional rights, not just Christians

It's got nothing to do with "Predjudice". The Bible calls it an "Abomination", so that's what it is, regardless of perple's feelings.
the bible lists over 90 things that are abominations everything from Christmas trees to poly-cotton blend shirts to having tattoos but none of these other abominations are used as a justification for discrimination, A good sign that it has everything to do with prejudice.

Absolutely true!!!! God is the FINAL JUDGE, and the secular "Laws of the land" are meaningless to Him.
I've been over this about a thousand times but I'll say it again. The amendment clause to the Constitution says that Congress cannot pass any laws that favor anyone religion or that discriminate against anyone religion and that all laws must have a secular purpose.
America is not a theocracy. We are a constitutional republic
Not everyone in America is Christian and they don't have to be because that's their constitutional right

I'm not "discriminating". i'm just stating the Biblical facts of the matter. There's no such thing as a homosexual (same sex) MARRIAGE.

We don't pass laws on the Bible for the same reason we don't pass laws on the quran. We passed laws on the Constitution

True, and the "Secular purpose" in this case, is to give Homosexual civil unions (that are incorrectly labeled "marriages") the same legal/economic rights as biblically legitimate marriages.

Simple as that.

Same reason when you go to the courthouse to get married, the officiator will ask you whether or not you want to include God in your wedding vows because not everyone in America is Christian

Followers of God also do not obey secular government made laws when they go against what God Himself has Commanded.

The Government can make any claim and pass it into law but a true Follower of God will follow God's Word first.

Christianity doesn't have a monopoly on marriage
Actually Christianity has the right to DEFINE what IS, and what ISN'T "marriage". The CREATOR has the right to define the matter in the absolute.

However, the CHRISTIAN DEFINITION of marriage has no legal standing Constitutionally in the U.S, and I never said it did.

But by the same token, U.S. LAW has no standing with God, who is the final judge in the matter, regardless of religious, or political paradigms.

TRUE. In general we are to OBEY the laws of the society we find ourselves in. The U.S. hasn't passed laws YET, that would force people into Anti-Biblical situation. But since "Christianity" is well on it's way to being seen as "DANGEROUS" in the U.S., it's only a matter of time till they do.

Anyone can get hitched here in the US and call themselves married. In the eyes of God, they are just hitched. God only recognizes marriage as between a man and a woman. Regardless of what the secular world calls it, two men or two women aren't really married. They are just plain hitched.

It has absolutely nothing to do with the Constitution of the US, or any other country.

"Marriage" in the U.S. has never been anything other than "just another" civil contract, the dissolution of which is also defined legally. it has nothing to do with anything Biblical (and Constitutionally couldn't anyway).

Yeah the point is Christianity doesn't own marriage, as marriage predates Christianity
That makes about as much sense as saying Muslim marriages don't count because they're holy book gives different instructions on marriage

God owns marriage and He has it on record in the Book of Genesis.

God in the flesh in the Gospel of Matthew mentions this.

Christianity is named after God in the flesh...aka Jesus Christ.

you are saying that some people are not married because of your opinions, that is pretty much the definition of discrimination.
