An Early Christian Writing called the Didache condemns Abortion in strongest terms. Christianity has rejected it for 2000 years. Read the history of where it came from, and you'll see it was from the Communists, the same who killed Millions in their Gulags, like Stalin and Lenin. Solzhenitsyn estimated the Bolshevik Communists killed some 60 MN people in Russia, most of them Christians. All these things are scarcely known in the West yet they are absolutely true nonetheless.

Who lusts and who kills? The liberals do by promoting all kinds of evil and iniquity including abortion, sodomy and gender mutilation. Those who are lax and indifferent between conservatism and liberalism are almost as bad as the liberals.
Again, Roe v Wade has already been overturned. This is a very critical time. With a sufficient Majority, it will remain so and a federal bill banning or limiting abortion could follow soon. With carelessness and laxity, the window of opportunity could be squandered forever. Choose your side carefully. "Choose Life, that you and your descendants may live" (Deut 30:19)

What I now see is that people that have been brought up with a certain teaching are fixed in their beliefs regardless of what the scriptures read. The verses you refer to are not telling you how to pray to 'GET' a government but pray for the government that is in power so that you may live in peace. The Amish and related groups probably understand this and the Mennonites in certain areas seem to have control to 'GET' their man but overall it is still Gods call. One post on this chat says in effect 'In the end God wins' and if that is the correct quote you will even see the incorrect understanding as Jesus already won on the cross.
If Trump runs, he will probably lose. I support most of his views but very tired of his constant whining about the 2020 general election. He is also, like Biden, too old with too many legal distractions. Best case, he decides not to run but instead supports Ron DeSantis who has an excellent chance of winning in 2024.

Then you need to read more of the Bible. Defending the innocent, seeking justice for the oppressed etc are Biblical Value.

Has nothing to do with my personal beliefs. The Bible indicates that since the fall of mankind from the position held at creation has been a downward spiral. If you read the OT there was one favored nation, Israel, which continually was given reprieve and continually rebelled against the offered guidance of God. This foreshadowed a similar situation which exists after the 1st Advent with the establishment of 'Spiritual Israel' or the 'Body of Christ' also loosely referred to as the church which many people today seem to look at as certain 'buildings'. I don't see any Biblical support for any governments on earth in the years following the 1st Advent. However, their have been governments which claim Christianity as the religion most favored and possibly this started with a Roman Emperor known as Constantine around the year 325. Now this is purely my understanding at this time and certainly people are entitled to believe whatever they want and that is as it should be. But the 1st Advent brought a Savior sent by God and He took on flesh and blood and was crucified so that any who call on Him may be reconciled with God and His final words when He was crucified were, "It is Finished". These words are indicative of His accomplishing a Work He was sent to do. Now my 'understanding' is I need not trouble myself with 'worldly' things. So you do what you like and pursue whatever you so desire. I find admonish in the Bible to pursue Heavenly things.
