You don't know how many times I have tested the scriptures and the Spirit regarding Christians being deceived by false prophets. You don't know how many times I've tried to walk away from this narrative (not just this thread). Yet those words ring in my spirit, they drive me daily to speak, they give me real concern for the welfare of my brothers and sisters... brothers and sisters who here prove me right by showing their love gone cold by turning against each other.

In another forum, these words are being heard and supported.

As I prayed and meditated over it today, I was constantly reminded of when Paul wanted to go to Asia but God told him no, they were not ready yet. And that is the feeling I get here. You are not ready yet. So the wrong I commit is trying to force my way in here. With a truth that falls on willfully deaf ears.

One day every knee shall bow, and many who say 'Lord Lord' will be answered with "I never knew you".

I pray, I PRAY that does not include ANY of you.

I saw the article you posted. You think the people who endorsed that article are good teachers? When who they are has been exposed.

No the wrong you commit is buying into the notion that there is a movement or group calles Christian nationalism.
I looked all over the internet, and all I found was web site after web site, organization and news pages going on against Christian Nationalism. Not one showed any evidence of the actual existence of such a group. And I never found their web site or social media page. If there is such a group they are terrible at recruiting because there is no presence of them in media any where. No one has shown any evidence of this supposed movement. But ya wail on against it. This makes no sense.

This is an abuse of that passage. Jesus makes it quite clear who He says he never knew, and it has nothing to do with rallying against a false movement. A media narrative designed to divide the church.

Not that I support the idea but, where does the constitution say that you cant have a biblical litmus test for anyone to hold office.
The reason I dont support such an idea is that ... Well look around this site. (Which happens to be one of many reason i dont believe there is a Christian nationalist movement) Christianity according to who? Which one of the million billion differing theological camps would be the deciding denomination? Baptists dont even get on with other Baptists; there is like 5 major different kinds of them alone.

Any way not the point. Where in the constitution does it say that a biblical litmus test cant be issued for a person holding office?

The amendment clause to the Constitution also says all laws must serve a secular purpose and you can't pass laws that favor or target anyone religion

Now that is hilarious. You should know that the Constitution means ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to the Communists in office. That is why the religion of Marx is now the official religion in the USA. Some of them are even calling for the total revision of the Constitution, or better yet, total annihilation. When they raided Trump's residence, they violated the Constitution without any regrets.

What's your point? What's wrong with a cross and a flag?! They push their beliefs and secular religion, homosexuality/trans, CRT,climate change, open borders and a whole lot more. In the local high school here a pastor/teacher was forced to retire because they told him he must call students by their preferred pronouns, not only that, but that he was not allowed to tell their parents.

Those pictures arent a movement and dont equal a Christian nationalism movement or established group. Only an ideologue blinded by a narrative would see those pictures as a sign of a movement.

I asked for evidence of a movement or group or an organization.

Also the first amendment says.

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

Having a litmus test neither establishes a religion nor prohibits the free exercise of religion.

It would establish whether a person holding office understands their religious constituencies.

But as I said I dont favor such a thing and gave reasons.

.im afraid that after being fired they have no say who he talks to. I would straight call them upon receiving my last check.

It's a false choice to say it's one or the other though. If it was a mandatory choice between the two, then of course the bible literacy test would be preferable as that is the inspired word of God.

I believe our constitution explicitly and implicitly states all throughout, the need for a state that does not favor any one brand of religion. God has given man free will, likewise, our constitution declares that God-given right. Unfortunately, people are free to have false gods (there is only one true God - Jesus Christ). For this reason, the bible heavily emphasizes the importance of ministry/missionary work for the lost souls that are without Christ in their heart/mind/soul.

Not evidence of a movement or group or association.

A social movement is an organized effort by a group of people to achieve a particular goal, typically a social or political one.

I'm asking you for evidence of such a socio-political group trying to achieve a political goal. As you stated.

I have an American flag fishing lure bit I'm not trying to start a fishing nationalist movement.

I think you are the swine here.
 
All I ask for is evidence of the so call Christian Nationalist movement as stated in the OP.
Not one shred of actual evidence has been produced.

It is virtually a mandatory choice. When Communism, Critical Race Theory, Black Racism, Wokeism and Transgenderism are the de facto ideologies of the government, then mandatory Bible literacy is equally valid. People should wake up and see that the Constitution has already been trashed -- and that too by the Supreme Court and the entire government.

I 100% agree with you that the constitution has been trashed and we have loads of unconstitutional laws on the books. I believe we agree more than we disagree.

The part where we probably disagree on is that I don't believe in making unconstitutional laws that cater to my personal and spiritual beliefs because another group of people is making unconstitutional laws that cater to THEIR personal/ideological beliefs.

I want to fix/correct it, one unconstitutional law at a time. Almost seems futile though, but as a son of God, I have to at least try to do my due diligence.
