If your car is reduced to its base components of random parts that, when all combined, are what make up a car then it isn’t a car anymore. That’s what being destroyed means, the thing that once was ceases to exist.
That same line of logic applies to people who are destroyed. John 3:16 says they perish.
Maybe one more example. A log in a bonfire completely reduced to ashes ceases to exist and it can never exist again. A smoldering pile of ashes is not a log anymore. I hope that’s clear.
I guess either continue in denial so you can preserve your preferred religious teachings of men or just accepted what the Bible says.

I haven’t forgotten about this post and I’ve been taking my time getting around to it because the link you cited is an hour long sermon. Today I’ve had a bit of time to sorta skim through it. While I agree with many things he says, I also noticed he’s wrong on several things.
I don’t really want to go into all of those things, but much of his pretense is false. I don’t really have the time, nor the desire, to sit here and transcribe an hour of his audio into a presentation. It would be difficult for readers to fact check as well if they won’t listen to an hour long sermon.
If you happen to have a transcription of that sermon that would be helpful to actually form a reply, citing his own words, then demonstrating the ways he’s wrong about annihilation.
Got it. Just drove by to say we’re dead wrong, got to be joking, and are ludicrous. Thanks for offering nothing of value to the discussion, but then again that seems to all that the eternal tormentors are capable of.

Destroyed is a relative term, meaning it has no absolute meaning of its own, you are adding the specification that you want, can you understand this?
So people will be in pieces after God annihilates them, parts of them here and there?
How so? Destroyed means “put an end to the existence of (something) by damaging or attacking it.” According to the Oxford Languages dictionary. Merriam-Webster and the Cambridge dictionary use similar verbiage. I prefer universally agreed upon definitions so we can all understand each other. That’s the fundamental point of words having meaning.
What do you think destroyed means?

Starting to get the idea of Biblical destruction yet? It uses imagery of burning people to ashes. Ashes aren’t people. They’re destroyed just like the English definition of destroy says.

The Bible is clear; those who will be cast into the LOF wil be tormented for ever and ever. That includes ALL unbelievers and ALL fallen angels. A very big group.

The Bible says nothing in the account of the GWT judgment about that crowd receiving annihilation. So you still have no evidence.
Your eyes are closed. Rev 20:10 is the FATE of those who will be cast into the LOF. And there is nothing about the crowd from the GWT judgment getting anything less. You just don't want to believe it.
Not the soul. You have zero evidence of souls "ceasing to exist" and you KNOW it as well as we do.
We DO see resurrected bodies perishing, dying, being utterly destroyed when cast into the LOF. But NOT souls. And you know it.
