the bible is a external revelation, words written on paper.

Scripture is the Word of God.

Scripture is more than just "words written on paper".

You have such a low opinion of Scripture, the Words of God that God gave to mankind.

They save no one, you can find a bible probably in everyone's house in America, setting around collecting dust.

"they save no one" is nothing but a lie from the pit. The problem is not with Scripture. The problem is that folks don't open the Book and read it.

The problem is that the Bible, the Word of God, is "setting around collecting dust".

Your delusion is you believe that anyone by nature, can pick up a bible and read it and understand it. Thats error, and disrespectful to the Spirit of Truth.

To me the Word of God is life

Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

The word "quick" is translated from the Greek word zaō which means life.

When the Lord Jesus Christ was tempted of the devil (Matt 4:1-11; Luke 4:1-13), He overcame satan by standing on the truth. Read the records. Jesus relied on it is written. What a shame we are so ignorant of God's Word and end up so weak we cannot stand and withstand the onslaught of the adversary. It is written was good enough for Jesus when He walked the face of the earth. I will follow in His footsteps.

Any reasonable person can see from this verse, that the Gospel can be preached in word only, without the attending power of the Spirit with it.

Look at what God says about the Bereans:

Acts 17:

11 These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.

12 Therefore many of them believed; also of honourable women which were Greeks, and of men, not a few.


We need more Bereans ... those who hear the preaching of the Word and then go home and search the Scriptures daily to make sure that what is taught is in alignment with what is written in Scripture.

After you heard, you believed.

After you believed, you were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise (regenerated / born again)

Eph 1:13 is describing the regenerated person being brought to faith !

Nope. The verse clearly states that after a person hears, they believe and after a person believes, they are sealed with that Holy Spirit of promise (regenerated).

You are suggesting the verse reads that a person is sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise (regenerated) before they hear/believe and, clearly, that is not how the verse is written.

Jn 1:12-13

12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:

13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

... those who received His word, had been born of God

... just more of your "born again in order to believe that through which a person is born again" dogma ...

verse 12 explains what occurs when a person receives [Greek lambanō – to lay hold by aggressively (actively) accepting what is available] the Lord Jesus Christ as opposed to those who reject Him as those shown in vs 11.

Those who lay hold by actively accepting the Lord Jesus Christ are granted the privilege, honor, right to become sons of God.

even to them that believe on his name ... those who receive Him (lambanō – to lay hold by aggressively (actively) accepting) are the ones who believe on His name.

verse 13 explains that those who receive Him ... those who believe on His name are begotten of God ... not in some distant time in the past to which you continuously infer ... but at the time they received [Greek lambanō – to lay hold by aggressively (actively) accepting what is available] the Lord Jesus Christ and believed on his name (vs 12).

Again, under your erroneous dogma how many times must a person be born again before they are really, truly, really, really, really born again???

God justifies those who believe on Him that raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead for we are justified by faith. Those who reject God will find themselves rejected come judgment day.

God Justifieth the ungodly, so that means He Justified them before Faith

no it doesn't. Once a person is justified, they are no longer "ungodly".

So if a person is justified before he/she believes, he/she is not "ungodly".

The same truth concerning the Lord Jesus Christ having taken on Himself the likeness of men is stated in Phil 2:

Philippians 2:7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men

The difference between what is written in Heb 2 and what is written in Phil 2 is the audience to whom the letters were written.

Hebrews was written to Jewish believers (physical descendants of Abraham) ... Philippians was written to gentile believers.

14 Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil

The word "partakers" is translated from the Greek word koinōneō which means communion, fellowship, share fully. All descendants of Adam share fully in flesh and blood of mankind.

The words "part of the same" are translated from the Greek word metechó which means a share of. The Lord Jesus Christ did not partake fully ... He took on Himself only a part.

The part of the same the Lord Jesus Christ took was flesh ... not blood.

John 1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.


The Lord Jesus Christ did not partake of the blood of men. The Lord Jesus Christ is the only begotten of the Father.

All the rest of mankind ... all descendants of Adam ... all come from one blood:

Acts 17:26 And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation
