Assume every terrible and evil thing you have ever heard about the US government is true and that our government is as evil as the government at the time that Paul was here in Acts, defending himself in a Roman court of law.
Funny you should bring that up because today mirrors that time.

At that time, the Jews were expecting their Messiah to be a political figure who'd save them from Godless Romans.

Today, so-called Christians are looking for a political figure to save them from Godless liberals.

It didn't work out for the Jews, and it won't work out for deceived Christians.

You don't see Pelsoi as evil?! Do tell!!
I see men in the image and likeness of God who are sinners. People that Jesus died to save. Until the age of grace is over that is all I will see.

Yes we have Satan ruling this world, we have demons and fallen angels, and we have some very sinful people who have sold themselves to sin. But that is for the Lord to sort out, not me. I am here to be a witness of the Lord's salvation and redemption.

I get it, I was in ministry for a lot of years, I feel ya, I really do. But there is a point where God says a person is given over to a reprobate mind. She calls herself a good Catholic but has no issue with abortion at any point in a pregnancy. Brother, that's a reprobate mind!! And it's evil.

I don't apologize for the truth.

You didn't tell any truth, you judged. Apology accepted, even though you're not humble enough to admit you're wrong.

No one is saving anyone. We are pushing back the tide of Communism. We've been doing it years before Trump, will doing it after he's gone.

OK, that is between her and the Lord. Jesus says if we call someone a fool we are in danger of hell fire. Why would I want to take that risk. I can be 100% against abortion, I can send money to those who are pushing to get Roe V. Wade overturned, hallelujah. I can challenge her, refer to abortion as human sacrifice, say that it is a sacrifice to Baal, and do all that without calling her a witch. If I call her Nancy Pelosi people know who I am talking about, if I call her the Speaker of the house they know who I am talking about. Why is it necessary to resort to name calling?

Matthew 5:22 But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire.

We are not infallible.

#kaylagrl If you were to make a mistake and you had the choice which of these two mistakes to make which would it be?

1. You see an evil, sinful person and you call them a witch knowing full well they are irredeemable. However, at the judgement seat you learn this person did repent and turn to the Lord and now you are danger of hell fire.

or

2. You refer to a person in authority with respect even though you disagree with everything you know about them and later in heaven you see that same person cast into the lake of fire.

No, you've been elevating her position. Not treating her with anything but a desire to call her things she doesn't deserve.

You went from comparing her to an anointed high priest to telling people they need to treat her as their sister in Christ.

There might be less push back against you if you simply acted like a Christian who was offering her the respect of a person who held office.

I did that in the posts I made that wasn't discussion with you about your abuse of Scripture.

Jesus teaches us that it's not wrong to speak in truth, but we are to do so with a measure of grace even if they are our enemies.

But it is wrong to abuse Scripture to the point you did. Read my posts where I spoke to the thread and not your misuse of Scripture.

Lead by example like I do. It goes much farther than what you're doing.... Just saying.

Yes, when she was sworn into office as one of the rulers of this land it is analogous to the High Priest of Israel after crucifying Jesus. It is not equivalent, but it is analogous.

I have never treated her as a sister in Christ nor have I said she isn't. That is not my place to make that judgement. Just because someone interprets the Bible so narrowly to say that this verse is saying you are not to speak evil of brothers and sisters but it is OK to speak evil of everyone else doesn't mean I agree with their interpretation. I completely reject that interpretation, but it was trivial to the discussion.

Acting like a Christian means we keep the Lord's commandments, first and foremost is to do unto others as you would have them do unto you. James refers to this as "the royal law" and says that we all want to be judged with mercy, therefore this law is commanding us to treat others with mercy. Being merciful is what it means to act like a Christian.

"My abuse of Scriptures"? Justifying the use of the term "witch" for a person is an abuse of scriptures? I asked for 3 verses that would justify this and I got nothing. There is no justification for this.

I didn't say she was a witch and I'm careful of calling someone a fool. But I did say she was evil, and I believe that is something you call out. It may be the means of her salvation in the end.

Evil isn't name calling, it's truth. 60 million babies murdered. I believe if you don't stand against that it's no different than standing by as the Holocaust happened.

Matthew 5:22 But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause
There is such a thing as righteous indigence. That's the POV I'm taking.

Abortion is evil, saying that is not the same thing as speaking evil of a person.

If you take this line of reasoning that abortion is evil therefore everyone who supports abortion is evil, does that mean you would call 45% of Americans evil? Do you really think this is what the Lord has called us to do?

What about a gang leader who committed evil acts but has since repented and turned his life to the Lord. Was he "evil"? Do you really think God wants you to call people made in the image and likeness of God evil?

What did the Lord mean when He told the church in Ephesus that they had left their first love? They were commended for catching people who were liars and calling them out. The Lord had no issue with them diving into the truth, discerning falsehood, so what does it mean to "leave your first love"?

In the gospels what did the Lord do when He was around sinners? Did He call the prostitutes whores? Did he call the tax collectors evil? The pharisees were doing that, so if you are doing that have you left the Lord and are now eating with the Pharisees and Sadducees?

So men like Dietrich Bonhoeffer were wrong in your opinion? He was a pacifist before he stood up against Hitler. “Silence in the face of evil is itself evil: God will not hold us guiltless. Not to speak is to speak. Not to act is to act.”

If you are going to stand up against Hitler and I would hope that you would, then learn from Jesus. You are entering the heavy weight ring.

Jude is the book that urges us to get into that ring: 3 Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.

In this book Jude tells us the following:

8 Likewise also these filthy dreamers defile the flesh, despise dominion, and speak evil of dignities. 9 Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke thee.

Its not even close to the equivalent. She isn't in office by birth, she wasn't anointed to be there - she's in office because our country is under judgement and we as a nation are being given over to sin, and they VOTED for her!

She is a sign of our punishment, our being given over to the evil intents of our hearts, not anything else.

The poster child of our nations sin isn't able to be compared to a person who once held the office my Lord and Savior employs, or a Spirit filled child of God.

But I will offer her, in the spirit of grace, the respect of someone voted into public office in this nation - and I will speak truth openly because in this nation it's a right of all citizens by birth, to speak their political voice in the public sphere. And I know how to do both simultaneously.

Why is Liz Cheney so anti-Trump? Has to do with her father. Please note I did not say the word witch (apart from this can people try to stay on topic instead of devolving into using scripture like fiery darts at each other?) so don't involve me in that.

Video is from '21. She believes, further, that Trump incited Jan 6 'riot'. I don't believe that but that is a divided opinion so don't involve me in that either.

Satan is the slanderer of the brethren, don't agree with that either.
You consider Pelosi to be part of the brethren ? She has publicly displayed who and what she is , what she stands for, when she publicly repents she will be accepted. At this point in her life , if you consider her part of the your brethren you and she are of the same father .

Joh 8:44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

Anyway, no small ego when it comes to Ms Liz. She likened herself to Lincoln when she conceded defeat. He speech was more of a 'we shall overcome' statement than a concession to defeat.

Delusional’ Liz Cheney ripped for likening herself to Lincoln in concession
Wyoming Rep. Liz Cheney was blasted by Republicans and conservatives after she compared herself to Abraham Lincoln in her concession speech following Tuesday’s primary loss.

“Abraham Lincoln was defeated in elections for the Senate and the House before he won the most important election of all,” Cheney said of the 16th president after she was soundly beaten by Trump-backed challenger Harriet Hageman.

“Lincoln ultimately prevailed,” Cheney went on. “He saved our union and he defined our obligation as Americans for all of history. Speaking at Gettysburg of the great task remaining before us, Lincoln said, ‘That we here highly resolve that these dead shall not have died in vain. That this nation, under God, shall have a new birth of freedom and a government of the people, by the people and for the people shall not perish from this Earth.’

She has planned to run for Prez for years. Nothing new to see there at all.

The use of scripture to defend any of the dems is just sheer nonsense. Wonder how much ZNP prays and interceeds for the dems.

These people are representatives but they act like the kings of old who reigned by supposed authority from God...the 'right' of kings

ZNP is on a roll and honestly, someone needs to quit pushing him ;)

waste of time to defend the actions of liars and demonic leadership in this country. God is indeed merciful but neither is he going to wink at the sin of abortion and all the rest. these people will do just about anything to gain and stay in power...straight up evil desire 101. they scream about loosing the democracy (even tho the US is a republic) yet they are the ones doing their best to turn the country into a communist black hole
