I was all alone by my bed side when I received the Holy Spirit baptism…I was 25 yrs old and I had been saved at 6 years old.
Present at both was knowing LOVE…I was loved by God and I loved Him too.
Yet, at 25 years old - the empowering was amazing! The scriptures opened and became so easy to read and understand. It was months before I actually felt mad or irritated with anyone… I know the Love I felt… it was not mine…it was God’s Love for me and others.
Don’t resist the Holy Spirit, nothing good comes from resisting the Holy Spirit.

I don't resist the Holy Spirit - He has been my guide for over thirty-five years.
What you refer to in your post is not so-called spirit baptism. It is the Regenerative work of the Holy Spirit. The being born anew of John 3;1-10. This enables one to have seeing eyes and hearing ears and a new heart. Thus, the Scriptures now make sense and are discernable by the reader. It enables our Conversion experience by which we are drawn to Christ.
Many don't like what I have to say. I don't really care. As a believer, I am obligated to stand for the Truth and will vehemently defend the Faith. I know, as all believers know, only those who have seeing eyes and hearing ears and possess a changed heart will except it and rejoice in it. All others will hate it and not listen to it - just as they did to Isaiah, who said: Who listened to our report?
Do I have all of the Truth - NO - but I have enough to fight the good fight.
The problem on these chat sites is two-fold. Either you have those who through around Scriptures but know not what they teach or those who espouse their beliefs but refuse to question or put their beliefs to the test. It is so sad but not unexpected.
2Ti_4:3 For the time will come when they will not endure the sound doctrine; but, having itching ears, will heap to themselves teachers after their own lusts;
Tit_1:9 holding to the faithful word which is according to the teaching, that he may be able both to exhort in the sound doctrine, and to convict the gainsayers.
I pray you reexamine your beliefs and come into sound Doctrine.
