She is probably listening and hoping for a little action behind those closed doors. Why does she do that????? That is ridiculous.

might have to change the title of my book fromDon't know if this is a confession, or a complaint, and it's not midnight. But......
Australian local governments, or at least the vast majority of them, are pathetic at providing Street Name signs at intersections, there's such a dearth of them. I don't know whether they do that intentionally because they may be a distraction to drivers, but it certainly doesn't help keep the anxiety levels down when driving in a place you aren't familiar with. Aaaaaargh. Sorry, just a quick IED outburst. Chill Tony, chill

If you could read my mind
to
If you could read the street sign
though I expect that traffic light people now expect drivers to all have inbuilt electronic GPS voices that tell you where you go so you dont have to read anything
Yes...what a tale of woe it would tell!
It's going to be one awfully big song novel the way it's developing. You'll need one of your beach-side pop up library vans to haul it around
Yes, well, I haven't found the mapping apps always to be accurate, and if intersections run close to each other you can be passing through the one you are supposed to be turning at before you get the prompt. Anyway, this is my confession...I'm a grump and am very good at it...I've had a lot of time to perfect the art over the years![]()
Be careful shittim. Judge, and we shall also be judged likewise. Only One can condemn us. Step back from this.I doubt you will have that opportunity
I thought the very same thing...
Then I got a Garmin...
These are incredible....much better voice prompts for turns, much better accuracy for knowing where I am, great rerouting for traffic jams and pictures for when it's a tricky intersection.
Cell phone apps work...but not as well as a dedicated device. For trips they are indispensable.
Good point. A bit expensive in Oz. Until I can afford something like that, I'll just continue to be a grump and cast disparaging remarks here and there. When you get old I think the 'being a grump' criterion is written into our job description, so it's all good![]()

And I found a new model garmin for around $100. Reconditioned, but it's been so very helpful. Just gotta update them and that takes a LOT of time. They can hook up to dash cameras and of course they connect to your cell phone.Good point. A bit expensive in Oz. Boy, you're up for a hiding to nothing. But your blood will be on your own head. You have referenced the most mis-quoted verse, the very next verse tells to 'remove the beam in your own eye that you may see more clearly", we are required to discern and judge, you are too old to have missed this for this long and still have the right relationship with Him that He deserves and requires.
John DB as well has missed this.
When we stand Before Him, our Holy God, our lives are spoken for us, we will not be speaking, you both should and need to know this truth.
best wishes
I'm sure that God will explain all of this in detail to you in person.Ok I’ll tell God that when I meet him face to face
