THERE MAY BE A LOT OF PEOPLE WHO WE THINK THERE IS NO WHAT THEY WILL MAKE IT TO HEAVEN, THAT DID MAKE IT.
But still a multitude will go the other way. Here is why?

Mark 3:28-29 (ESV)
28 “Truly, I say to you, all sins will be forgiven the children of man, and whatever blasphemies they utter,
29 but whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit never has forgiveness, but is guilty of an eternal sin”—

That is the one sin that any body goes to hell for.

My opinion of what those two verses are actually talking about, is rejecting with the Holy Spirit has been trying to convince you is TRUE about JESUS CHRIST.

2 Peter 3:8-9 (NASB)
8 But do not let this one fact escape your notice, beloved, that with the Lord one day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years like one day.
9 The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance.

Ep.2:8 For by GRACE are ye SAVED through FAITH; and that NOT of yourselves: IT IS THE GIFT OF GOD. Also Rms.12:3

Rms.4:13 For the PROMISE, that he should be the Heir of the world, was NOT to Abraham, nor TO HIS SEED, through the LAW, but through the RIGHTEOUSNESS of FAITH.

Ep.2:9/10 NOT of WORKS, lest any MAN should BOAST. For we are HIS WORKMANSHIP, CREATED in Christ Jesus UNTO GOOD WORKS,WHICH GOD HATH BEFORE ....ORDAINED that we should WALK in them.

We can do NOTHING that will make us righteous before God,NOTHING!
We cannot buy, steal or make a contract to gain salvation.
WE HAVE NO POWER!

HIS POWER that overcame death, the grave and resurrection is why by our FAITH that we can become the sons of God.
John 1:12 But as MANY AS RECEIVED HIM, to them gave he POWER to become the sons of God, EVEN TO THEM THAT BELIEVE ON HIS NAME.

Afterwards 2 Tim.3:17 That the man of God may be PERFECT ( mature), throughly FURNISHED unto ALL good works.
Again, Ja.2:22 Seest thou how FAITH wrought with his WORKS,and by WORKS was FAITH made perfect?

A SERVANT, (Mt.10:24 The disciple is NOT above his master, nor the servant above his lord ) MUST do the work of his Master for he is the shepherd of our redemption covenant, through y which will fufil Heb.13:21 Make you Perfect in every good work to DO HIS WILL....................

When all is said and done amongst us.. let us consult the Truth according to GOD:

James 2 KJV

2 My brethren, have not the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Lord of glory, with respect of persons.
2 For if there come unto your assembly a man with a gold ring, in goodly apparel, and there come in also a poor man in vile raiment;
3 And ye have respect to him that weareth the gay clothing, and say unto him, Sit thou here in a good place; and say to the poor, Stand thou there, or sit here under my footstool:
4 Are ye not then partial in yourselves, and are become judges of evil thoughts?
5 Hearken, my beloved brethren, Hath not God chosen the poor of this world rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom which he hath promised to them that love him?
6 But ye have despised the poor. Do not rich men oppress you, and draw you before the judgment seats?
7 Do not they blaspheme that worthy name by the which ye are called?
8 If ye fulfil the royal law according to the scripture, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself, ye do well:
9 But if ye have respect to persons, ye commit sin, and are convinced of the law as transgressors.
10 For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.
11 For he that said, Do not commit adultery, said also, Do not kill. Now if thou commit no adultery, yet if thou kill, thou art become a transgressor of the law.
12 So speak ye, and so do, as they that shall be judged by the law of liberty.
13 For he shall have judgment without mercy, that hath shewed no mercy; and mercy rejoiceth against judgment.
14 What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath faith, and have not works? can faith save him?
15 If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food,
16 And one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit?
17 Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.
18 Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works.
19 Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.
20 But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?
21 Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar?
22 Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect?
23 And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of God.
24 Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only.
25 Likewise also was not Rahab the harlot justified by works, when she had received the messengers, and had sent them out another way?
26 For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.

Saved through Faith in our Lord and Saviour.
Set free to be at liberty to live and keep the Royal law.. the Law of love.

If we love GOD we keep His Commandments. Do not let people accuse you of working for your Salvation. You labour in Love.
If you understand not that the Old Covenant was being fulfilled through the New Covenant. You will know many were still teaching the works of the Old Covenant in place of the New. You can’t mix the wine. Many had not Faith in the Lord for Salvation. Choosing not to build their House upon Him.. not making the Lord their foundation. Resorting to circumcision of the flesh and not the heart. Through Faith that GOD told us that all that Believe on His Son, shall be saved. Those that love me, keep my sayings

It does not get any plainer..........Our righteous works have ZERO to do with Salvation!
Amen on that.

It is unrighteous works that get us in trouble.

Hebrews
10:22 Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.
10:23 Let us hold fast the profession of [our] faith without wavering; (for he [is] faithful that promised
10:24 And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works:
10:25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some [is]; but exhorting [one another]: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.
10:26 For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,
10:27 But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.
10:28 He that despised Moses' law died without mercy under two or three witnesses:
10:29 Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?

English Standard Version
he saved us, not because of works done by us in righteousness, but according to his own mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit,

Berean Study Bible
He saved us, not by the righteous deeds we had done, but according to His mercy, through the washing of new birth and renewal by the Holy Spirit.

Berean Literal Bible
He saved us, not by works in righteousness that we did, but according to His mercy, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit,

New American Standard Bible
He saved us, not on the basis of deeds which we have done in righteousness, but according to His mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit,

King James Bible
Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;
Just as you freely accepted Jesus in your life you can also freely choose to stop serving him. Jesus said with his own mouth; (Matt. 24:13) But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. That is until the end of your life, or until the Second Coming of the Lord.

Paul said in (Gal. 6:) (v.3) For if a man think himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceiveth himself. (v.4) But let every man prove his own work, and then shall he have rejoicing in himself alone, and not in another.

The book says let every man prove his own work, and if your work is good then you will rejoice in it. (v.5) For every man shall bear his own burden. That’s right; every man must bear his own burden. You mean you thought that all you had to do was confess the name of Jesus and that was it? Brothers and sisters you must work to get salvation. (v.7) Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. God is not to be played with. Whatsoever you plant, that’s what you are going to reap. Be it good works unto eternal life, or evil works unto eternal damnation. The choice is yours, and your works belong to you.

Christians don't allow the new age religion types to lead u astray from Gods word.

They want you to adopt their teaching to do no nothing in support of Christ by miss using the works...word.

Well lets see....."faith without works is dead"....
That is enough to tell me that God wants us to assist our Lord and Savior in any fashion we can.

Lord...what may I do next?

You are right we cannot work our way into heaven. It is because of the blood that we have salvation. The other side of that coin is that our robs that are made from our righteous acts. When we love The Lord we want to follow in His footsteps He showed love and compassion. You do not have to do big works to please God, it is the little things you do everyday, helping someone put groceries into there car, a kind word, etc.

So many times people post 'faith without works is dead ' without any context of what is about.

Through the book of James.. these are Acts of service to God, people demonstrating faith they already were given by God.

James isn't attaching works to getting eternal life in this.

Mat 7:16-27
16 Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? 17 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. 18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. 19 Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. 20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.
21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. 22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? 23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. 24 Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: 25 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock. 26 And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: 27 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.

Notice that doing and not doing makes a very important difference.

Notice that doing and not doing makes a very important difference.
it appears that hearing His sayings, and putting them into practice, is about knowing Him and being known by Him -- rather than about doing many wonderful works.
without knowing Him and being known by Him, even a huge amount of wonderful works are worthless.
what is worth everything, is to know Him - to be known by Him

the will of God is that we believe on Him; that all our hope and trust is in Him.
if we do this, we will naturally seek to do what pleases Him. how could we not?

but simply doing good things is worthless if our trust is in those good things, that they will commend us to Him. if we know Him we know that our works cannot commend us to Him: it is His grace, that He loves us even while we are incomparably worthless beside Him; that He considers us worth seeking and saving

so i think we should preach wisdom to each other, not fear -- that acting with righteousness and mercy and justice is wise, given the hope we have in Him. we shouldn't be preaching that doing good works keeps us saved or ((much less!)) saves us, but that it's foolish not to; that doing what is right and living holy lives is wise because the Lover of our souls loves these things.

Amen! So "faith without works is dead" does not mean that faith is dead until it produces works and then it becomes a living faith or that works are the source of life in faith. That's like saying a tree is dead until it produces fruit and then it becomes a living tree and the fruit is the source of life in the tree. James is simply saying faith that is not accompanied by evidential works demonstrates that it's dead.

If someone merely says-claims they have faith but lack resulting evidential works, then they demonstrate that they have an empty profession of faith/dead faith and not authentic faith. (James 2:14) James is discussing the evidence of faith (says-claims to have faith but has no works/I will show you my faith by my works - James 2:14-18) and not the initial act of being accounted as righteous with God. (Romans 4:2-3)

"faith without works".... means exactly what it says.
We must have faith and ............we must do God's righteous works.

We are His ambassadors here on earth which is deluged with attacks and wrongful treatment of His word thru attempts to change it.
