a laptop
a fluffy fat cat
a desk

mine would have...a garden and a library, and would live in a tree dollhouse but with many rooms, although she would visit baby Jesus in his manger and stable across the way on a cruise ship with all the other dolls.

Would you have a nice wardrobe or some weapons to fight enemies with? Maybe a car or a bakery gift set? How about a pet dragon that your figure can ride on? Get as wild as you want.

I think my figure would come with shoes, a hairbrush and lots of dresses. A pet dolphin would be cool too because why not?
Maybe even a mermaid tail!

In my youth I fought sleep just had to stay awake. Reason being have always been afraid of missing out on something. Love, love, love adventure even if it be misadventure at times.....LOL Have just always been a yes person saying yes to anything that came along cause I did not want to miss out and the opportunity to forge another memory and a story that someday can regal my grandkids with, with all that life had to offer and how I took a bite just to know what it tasted like.

So the fictional characters I have always felt akin to are like Peter Quill from Guardians of the Galaxy, Han Solo of Star Wars, Malcom Reynolds of Firefly, and etc. So I would come with a blaster, a crew of like minded misfits, and some kind of broke down space ship that was on it's last leg, but somehow would get fixed just in the nick time to escape the misadventure. As well throw in a cargo bay full of bibles as I barely escaped the dark overlord to smuggle bibles into the deepest recess of his cruel and authoritarian empire...........LOL As well as some kind of sound track cause always have to have good tunes in the background as it all plays out.....LOL

So in the spirit of the old Mastercard commercials. Retail price 99.99, the memory and experience..........priceless :)

Tool belt with tools...an accessory bag filled with power tools....
Then a table and stove. Mixers and ovens to bake bread. (Don't forget the peel)

And the newer models now come with farting action.

Apparently so my brother apparently so......LOL At 99.99 the marketing department had to come up with a back story so this toy gets moved from the shelf into some kids hands, lest we find the toy in the mark down discount bin...........LOL

the important thing to get right is the hair

for girl dolls
you can use wool

thats what girls mostly like to play with, aside from the dressing up part, which, you can use old baby clothes for them

Barbie was successful franchise because she was a grown up doll and had a massive wardrobe, but...she was also expensive to clothe, so am not sure whether girls these days are still going for her.

Though I have heard of toy libraries where you can borrow an american girl doll which apparently are very costly but the girls adore them.

when I was growin up, cabbage patch kids were the rage but nobody had them as they were very expensive. I walk into a toy store nowadays and half of it taken up with Lego which is also, very expensive.
