The greatest man in history, without a servant, but they called him Master. There was no degree, but they called him Teacher. Without medicine, they called him Healer. He had no army, but the kings feared Him. He did not win the army, but he conquered the world. He did not sin, but they crucified Him. He was buried in a grave, but he still lives today His name is Jesus.

Yes I thought this was brilliant when I read it. It was actually a comment someone had left under a song I was listening to on You tube. I don't know whether it is famous or not or whether that person wrote it themselves but I like how it packs so much info into just a small paragraph. Whoever wrote it did an awesome job. I wish I could write like that.

I know one thing - you are not alone in that experience - it seems that it happens to several other users on here, also.

One thing you can do, however - while you work on determining what is causing the double-quote to occur - is to use the preview feature. It should help you catch it before you submit the post.

If you figure it out - please tell us...

Up from the grave He arose,
With a mighty triumph o’er His foes,
He arose a Victor from the dark domain,
And He lives forever, with His saints to reign.
He arose! He arose!
Hallelujah! Christ arose!

He lives! He lives! Christ Jesus lives today!
He walks with me and talks with me
Along life's narrow way
He lives! He lives! Salvation to impart!
You ask me how I know He lives?
He lives within my heart

Good morning friends :)

Pesach was awesome and we had a blessed gathering. Enjoy your short week (in South Africa).

Twice I have attempted to post a thread. Each time it was apparently blocked. You start a thread with no subject other than " speak your mind ". It is accepted no problem. What's up with that?

I guess there's difference between starting a thread and posting on a thread. I've seen this on many forums and FB pages.
You can call me an idiot here, and it may remain here, but try to start a thread titled, "You Are An Idiot." You'll have zero chance of it being allowed.
They obviously didn't approve of your thread topic.

I think the frustration I'm having with forums is that I've been expecting too much from them. They're not a substitute for real life. I don't think they're supposed to be. And it's not their fault that I'm so gimped-up that it's difficult to get around, thus preventing me from having a life.
The truth be known...if I had any other way of passing my day, I wouldn't be here much. I was hoping to get some kind of meaning to my life from forums. I guess that I have to accept the fact that they are social hang-outs and not much more. It is what it is.
I guess that's all I have to say...for now.
