Jesus currently has a throne in heaven right next to His Father's throne.

Jesus WILL HAVE a throne on earth when He "rules the nations with a rod of iron" after the Tribulation is over.
Remember Jesus authority and power is OVER ALL in this age and the ONE TO COME.

God the Father, `seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, FAR ABOVE all principality and power and might and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but in the ONE TO COME, and has put ALL THINGS UNDER HIS FEET.` (Eph. 1: 20 & 21)

The Lord Jesus Christ will rule OVER the nations from His seat of power and authority in the HIGHEST.

And that's where you're wrong. Old Testament (Israelite) saints are wedding guests to the supper. The Church is the bride of Christ. Two distinct parties of the first resurrection.
.
Although we agree on most things this detail is different - the symbol `bride.` It is used for God`s relationship with Israel (Isa. 54) and also used for the city in the NHNE. It is a SYMBOL of God`s relationship with the nation of Israel and the NJ.

Our relationship is closer - Head - Body. Nothing closer than that.

You don't know?
The answer is in the very scripture you just posted.
Read the Gospel of John and pay careful attention to chapters 14 thru 17.
Peace
Thanks for those scriptures and we see in Eph. 1: 20 & 21 that the Lord`s power and authority in this age and the one to come is FAR ABOVE ALL. His throne is in the highest and that is where His Body will be.

What are you talking about now? The prophetic fulfillment of the restoration of the nation Israel is NOT "Replacement Theology". It is just the opposite. Do you even understand the basis of replacement theology?

Furthermore, Jewish believers are indeed Christians (the body, the Bride)....up to the point in time of the rapture. But not thereafter. The Church age, the age of Grace has been completed, Rom 11:25 has been fulfilled.

THEN comes the 70th week of Daniel and the fulfillment of Acts 1:6. And the Jews DO call upon Jesus to return....to the EARTH. However these Jewish believers are NOT the Church per se. They inherit all of the promises given to Abraham and fulfill the mandate to excercise God's will upon the EARTH in the Millenial Kingdom.
You need to find out when the LORD said the 'church age' ends and the earthly nation Israel is restored.

Here is my question(s) again: (CV5, Marilyn, TDW)

Can you please post the scriptures where the LORD and/or His Apostles declare and instruct us of:
Christ descending to rapture a select group of (any of the following) His Sons/Saints/Bride/Church/Elect BEFORE His Second Coming thereby leaving behind Saints that must go thru great tribulation AND then His Second Coming for the Resurrection and rapture for another group of Saints.

PEACE[/QUOTE]

Hi David,

I have given you this scripture a few times, however you must have missed it.

The Father - `may send Jesus (to believers v. 17) whom heaven must receive until the times of restoration of all things, of which God has spoken about by the mouth of all His holy prophets...` (Acts 3: 20 & 21)

The Father sends Jesus to the believers. It is the time to restore rulership in all God`s great kingdom where there has been rebellion. This was what the prophets spoke about.

First rulership to be restored is in the angelic realm. From there comes the judgments - through trib, and the millennium.

AMEN - Our Heavenly Father will absolutely send the Son and we see this in Revelation chapter 19.

Jesus replied, “It is not for you to know times or seasons that the Father has fixed by His own authority. But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you, and you will be My witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”
After He had said this, they watched as He was taken up, and a cloud hid Him from their sight. They were looking intently into the sky as He was going, when suddenly two men dressed in white stood beside them. “Men of Galilee,” they said, “why do you stand here looking into the sky? This same Jesus, who has been taken from you into heaven, will come back in the same way you have seen Him go into heaven.”

So we know that the Foundation for His Second Coming can be seen in Genesis and the Prophets.
This has been spoken of by our Lord Jesus Christ and the Apostles.

Well, there's more here to agree with. 1 Thess 4 is the "classic rapture" passage, yet has NO MENTION of a glorified trip to heaven. That is significant.

OK, p10. Please point out the specific words that describe a glorified trip to heaven in 2 Thess 2:1, since you pushed the "wrong" button 3 times.

I love you guys. You keep disagreeing, but you NEVER come up with any verse that says what you guys claim.

Haven't you been trying to defend a "rapture", where Jesus takes the resurrected believers to heaven, all before the Trib? That trip.

Well it doesn't sound like me...would you show me...maybe I goofed.
Scripture says ...taken up and forever with the Lord. .....I don't remember Heaven reference included.

Right. Because there is no heaven reference, or trip up to heaven. Which is my point.

This has been spoken of by our Lord Jesus Christ and the Apostles.
When Jesus was talking to His disciples before He ascended they were wanting to know when He would restore Israel`s rule over the nations.

`Lord, will you at this time restore the kingdom (rulership) to Israel?` (Acts 1: 6)

The disciples weren`t to know, (the Lord said) however the two men standing by when the Lord ascended told them that the Lord would come in like manner. And this is on the Mount of Olives. (Acts 1: 9 -12) And we see this fulfilled as the prophet Zechariah says.

`Behold, the Day of the Lord is coming....I will gather all nations to battle against Jerusalem.....in that day His feet will stand on the Mount of Olives...` (Zech. 14: 1 - 4)

And we know this is when the Lord returns with His mighty angel army to deliver Israel and bring vengeance upon the rebellious nations. (2 Thess. 2: 7 & 8)

Now we know now that the Head of the Body has told us more revelation concerning us. The Body of Christ revelation was not known by the disciples early on. It was only when the Lord revealed it to the apostle Paul much later. That is why Peter was trying to get the believers to act like Jews because he didn`t understand about the Body of Christ. Paul had to rebuke Peter and the others who were trying to go back to the law. (Gal. 2: 11 - 14)

So the revelation of the `catching away` of the Body of Christ was not known by the early disciples till the Head of the Body revealed it to the apostle Paul.

Thus we see there is a `catching away,` for the mature Body of Christ, and later the Lord coming to deliver Israel and judge the nations.

Do you read Rev 20 literally or figuratively?
Jesus is - King of glory, King of heaven, King of the ages, King of Righteousness, King of Judah, King of Israel, King of the nations, and finally King of Kings....

Jesus holds all those Kingship titles and some were pre His manifestation on earth and some after. Remember He was born `King of the Jews.` Jesus` kingship is not from any authority on the earth. In His glorified body Jesus was appointed of the Father as King on Mount Zion in heaven. (Ps. 2: 6, Heb. 12: 22)

Jesus is King and always has been. It is the Father`s purpose to have all things in heaven and earth under the rule of the Son. (Eph. 1: 10) However because there has been rebellion in every realm those rebellious rules and authorities need to be put down. (1 Cor. 15: 24 & 25)

And that is a process that starts when the Lord in His glorified body takes His rightful throne in the angelic realm and begins the judgments. His Body is with Him. (1 Cor. 6: 2 & 3)

Rev. 20, unfolds quite naturally and logically as God sums up those involved in the world system that gets judged by the Lord and His body. (1 Cor. 6: 2 & 3) He is the supreme court judge and His Body is the court. There is no other court of appeal.

Zechariah 14:1 = This is beginning to take place now as we speak.

John answered and said, “A man can receive nothing unless it has been given to him from heaven.
You yourselves bear me witness, that I said, ‘I am not the Christ,’ but, ‘I have been sent before Him.’
He who has the bride is the bridegroom;

John 3:27

Peter was playing the religious hypocrite and was always weak this way. So the LORD sent Paul to rebuke him and get him back on the Straight Path.

This is recorded as a permanent earmark of Scripture for all those who seek to be religious and trust in the flesh as we see it now with those who seek to separate Jew from Gentile in the Body of Christ = His Bride.

And how pray tell do you integrate this passage into your eschatological framework?

Mat 19:28
And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

For us, the pre-trib premillennialist's, this passage dovetails beautifully into our eschatology, as do ALL of the prophetic Scriptures. Including Acts 2:16-21 and Acts 15:16-17. Both of which have millennial Kingdom (the restoration of NATIONAL ETHNIC ISRAEL) components instilled into them.
That's simple, twelve tribes of Israel will be preserved during the tribulation, those who follow Jesus will judge those who don't. That's what the sealing of the 144,000 is all about.

"There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is nether slave nor free, there is neither male nor female, for you are all ONE in Christ Jesus." - Gal. 3:27. A believer is a believer, God doesn't discriminate like you do. In several parables, "the first will be last, and the last will be first." Jews as the first will be the last to receive the gospel, then the Body of Christ will finally be complete.

OK. Let's turn this around. Why don't you show us the Scriptures which say that after the Resurrection/Rapture all the saints remain on earth, and continue to remain on earth, and that there is no such thing as the Marriage of the Lamb in Heaven?
Because the bride is New Jerusalem, a city. Angel explained in 17:18 that Great Babylon was also a city, that's Satan's counterfeit of New Jerusalem. John only HEARD about the marriage supper of the Lamb, what he finally SAW was New Jerusalem.

I have no problem with that finding so, you have me mixed with someone.
Further thought....Christ is destined for 1000 years on earth after the trib period. Maybe, whomever thinks of that, is thinking after the mullenium reign.

The Apostle John does here in his Gospel that he wrote = clear as Day.

John answered and said, “A man can receive nothing unless it has been given to him from heaven.
You yourselves bear me witness, that I said, ‘I am not the Christ,’ but, ‘I have been sent before Him.’
He who has the bride is the bridegroom;
John 3:27

Clear as Day - Mark 2:19-20
And Jesus said unto them, Can the children of the bridechamber fast, while the bridegroom is with them? as long as they have the bridegroom with them, they cannot fast.

Clear as Day
“Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe in Me as well. 2In My Father’s house are many rooms. If it were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you?b 3And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and welcome you into My presence, so that you also may be where I am. 4You know the way to the place where I am going.

Clear as Day
2 Corinthians 11:2 - For I am jealous over you with godly jealousy: for I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ.

Wives, submit to your own husbands, as to the Lord. 23For the husband is head of the wife, as also Christ is head of the church; and He is the Savior of the body. 24Therefore, just as the church is subject to Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in everything.

25Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for her, 26that He might [g]sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of water by the word, 27that He might present her to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish. 28So husbands ought to love their own wives as their own bodies; he who loves his wife loves himself. 29For no one ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, just as the Lord does the church. 30For we are members of His body, [h]of His flesh and of His bones. 31“For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh.” 32This is a great mystery, but I speak concerning Christ and the church. 33Nevertheless let each one of you in particular so love his own wife as himself, and let the wife see that she respects her husband.
