expect me to take you seriously?
I think he actually does, but I'm not 100% sure yet.
expect me to take you seriously?
I guess I mean by tipsy as starting to feel the effects of alcohol. The first thing alcohol affects is judgment. Rather, we should be sober minded.
New wine is found in the clusters. Take a cluster and press it into a cup…presto!
I find that a certain degree of self-righteousness seems to be displayed by those who feel God has chosen them for a special purpose.
Paul went from calling himself an Apostle, the least of the Apostles, to the chiefest among sinners. In other words, the more he learned and was used by God, the more humble he became.
Ok, would you agree, by the context, that the reason that Nadab and Abihu offered strange fire was because their mental capacity was impaired by having drank alcohol before going into the service of the Tabernacle, which brought God's wrath unto their death by confusing the holy and the unholy, clean and unclean, and brought about God's proclamation to Aaron and his other sons about not drinking alcohol in God's service of the Tabernacle lest they die similarly?
In my past before my conversion I drank several things classified as alcohol, alcoholic wine, beer, 'liquor', etc.
I don't mind questions.![]()
Paul told Timothy to drink a 'little' wine. Of course, it is unclear how much wine is in a 'little'. Maybe he meant drink a liter of wine. That would numb the pain for sure.
Perhaps you might consider my study on that. Who was with Paul? Would a physician filled with the Holy Spirit really recommend alcohol for stomach ailments and other infirmities?
Which means it's been than long since I had a Margarita! That's not a sin, but it might be close!
Did you read about the preservation methods? You cite an article that quotes Ellen White, and you expect me to take you seriously?
Dude, get some better sources!
No, I didn't. Go back and read it again, slowly, and then apologize for your libel.hmm in another thread you decided someone was an unbeliever on the basis that she takes a medicinal substance for a physical ailment.
this raises some questions
Back then I worshipped the dragon. So thanks went to him.i have a question

Paul's medical instruction involved juice of the grape, not alcohol. Detailed in original linked study.it's true that little is a relative term
Being in possession of the most valuable gift in eternity should alter our view of self dramatically, but the focus should be God, others, self. Not saying I have attained this perfected view as of yet, but I strive to run this race with all the help I can get.Is that self serving?
When will you give attention to your righteousness? When God elects you?
I remember a class years ago where a lady spoke of a poor family that was addicted to sipping gas.I saw a video awhile back where a woman had a gasoline-drinking problem. That, I'd imagine, would qualify as sin. I thought that would kill you! I remember as a kid siphoning gas out of the car for the lawnmower and getting a mouthful. I never imagined someone would do that on purpose!
I guess as long as they were sipping it and not drinking it out of a jerry can!I remember a class years ago where a lady spoke of a poor family that was addicted to sipping gas.
I think I have used the word Sipsey so much during my life, that it just oozes out in conversation. It is an English spelling of a Choctaw Indian word spelled sipsi, and the name of a nearby small stream I grew up on. It means cottonwood tree. They were once plentiful along that stream and duly noted by the native population of long ago.I guess as long as they were sipping it and not drinking it out of a jerry can!
Or are you saying sipping because you like the word sip, Sipsey?![]()
