I'm still trying to figure this out but I am extremely wary of believing in a 'Rapture' that is not mentioned in the bible. I'm equally as wary of those who swallow it hook line and sinker.

The Big Lie About Israel & the Rapture: by Chuck Baldwin

AMERICAN EVANGELICALS HAVE BEEN HOODWINKED INTO A BIG LIE ABOUT ISRAEL AND THE RAPTURE
By: Chuck Baldwin 7/29/2018

https://russia-insider.com/en/polit...nked-big-lie-about-israel-and-rapture/ri24342

"I am convinced that Cyrus Scofield was an agent of the Rothschilds and that his reference Bible was deliberately used to blind Christians to what the true nature and purpose of the soon-to-be modern State of Israel was. And it worked—BIG TIME."
According to some prophecy preachers, the Rapture is supposed to take place tomorrow, July 27, 2018. The reason for this prediction is due to the fact that there is going to be another “blood” moon tomorrow—the longest “blood” moon in this century, they say.
But that doesn’t stop these prophecy kooks from constantly predicting the date of the Rapture. Practically every Jewish holiday or feast day, “blood” moon or unusual solar occurrence will prompt some prophecy-obsessed preacher somewhere to predict the Rapture will take place on that date. (It would take volumes to talk about all of the predictions that prophecy preachers have made regarding when the Rapture will take place over the past seventy years.)

Of course, after the predicted date comes and goes, there is always another predicted date. And after the Rapture doesn’t occur tomorrow, the same televangelists and prophecy preachers will continue to predict future dates, and people will continue to believe and support these false prophets. Don’t ask me to explain people’s gullibility with all of that. It’s just the way it is.
Mind you, I was educated in dispensational prophecy doctrines myself. I was taught them, I believed them and, for over thirty years, I taught them to others. (I’ve asked God to forgive me for that, and now I’m doing my best to try and awaken people to those egregiously erroneous teachings.) So, I am very familiar with the way it all works.

The catalyst for the obsession with prophetic futurism was basically two things: 1) the massive acceptance by fundamentalist/evangelical Christians of the Scofield Reference Bible (originally published in 1909 and revised in 1917) and 2) the creation of the Zionist State of Israel in 1948.

Scofield convinced a majority of Christians that Christ’s return was in two parts: the Rapture (which was imminent) and Second Coming. He treats the Rapture and Second Coming as two distinct events separated in time by a span of seven years, with the first 3½ years known as “The Tribulation” and the second 3½ years known as “The Great Tribulation.” This understanding was based on Scofield’s misinterpretation of Daniel’s Seventy Weeks prophecy in the Old Testament Book of Daniel. And, of course, when Israel came into existence in 1948, Christians became convinced that this was the beginning of prophetic end-time events—and the rest, as they say, is history.

I well remember preachers telling people back in the 1970s that the Rapture was going to take place in 1988—forty years after the inception of modern Israel. They based that prediction on the passage of Scripture where Jesus said:
Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh: So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors. Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled. (Matthew 24:32-34 KJV)

These preachers said that the fig tree putting forth leaves was Rothschild’s Israel (no, most Christians do not understand modern Israel’s connection to Rothschild Zionism—to this very day, they do not make the connection. In fact, they do not even know what Rothschild Zionism is), and since a Biblical generation is most commonly forty years, the Rapture HAD to take place in 1988 (some said 1981 to allow for the seven year “Tribulation”), because Jesus said THAT generation would not pass until it was all (Christ’s Second Coming) fulfilled. Obviously, 1988 was thirty years ago, and the Rapture did not take place.

Hence, prophecy preachers have had to adjust and readjust their interpretations of that passage of Scripture several times now.
My point is, all of this date-setting about the Rapture is nothing new. It’s been going on ever since the Scofield Reference Bible saturated evangelical Christianity and the State of Israel came into existence.

One of the things I have come to understand about prophetic futurism is that EVERYTHING HINGES ON ISRAEL. That’s why prophecy preachers and dispensational Bible teachers are obsessed with modern Israel. To them, Israel is at the core of their understanding of prophecy. I will even dare to say that, to them, Christ is not the focus of prophecy; Israel is.
This flagrant misinterpretation of Scripture (popularized by Scofield) has turned modern Israel into a god in the eyes of many Christians. Oh, they would never admit to committing the sin of idolatry with Israel, but in truth, that is exactly what many of them are doing.

After much study on the subject, I am convinced that Cyrus Ingerson Scofield was an agent of the Rothschilds and that his reference Bible was deliberately used to blind Christians to what the true nature and purpose of the soon-to-be modern State of Israel was. And it worked—BIG TIME. To most Christians today, modern Israel is a “miracle of God”—a fulfillment of Biblical prophecy—and the atheistic, Talmudic, Kabbalistic Jews who control the Zionist state are “God’s Chosen People.”

As a result, America (thanks to seventy years of indoctrination by tens of thousands of pastors, radio and TV preachers, churches and Bible colleges and seminaries) has literally become a doormat (and puppet) for Israel.

No country on earth could attack a U.S. Navy vessel (the USS Liberty) and kill 34 American Sailors and Marines with complete and total impunity. Beyond that, the U.S. government (with the assistance of the mainstream media) deliberately and aggressively covered up this attack and even apologized on behalf of the attacking country. No country on earth could get by with such a thing. No country, that is, except Israel.

In addition, most of America’s invasions, bombings, military conflicts and wars over the past several decades (including the current ones) have been little more than proxy wars for Israel. Pro-Israel policies and agendas literally dominate America’s politics, news media and entertainment industries—not to mention most churches, of course. And the Donald Trump presidency has only deepened Christians’ infatuation (even obsession) with Israel-driven, Israel-focused prophecy.

No, the Rapture will not take place tomorrow—or the day after that. The whole Scofield/dispensationalist/futurist/Israel-based prophecy doctrines are egregious error. These doctrines have produced and are producing great harm to the Church and to our country. In fact, these doctrines are resulting in great death and destruction as evil forces are manipulating these doctrines to inflict much war and bloodshed around the world.

This is another reason why I am enthusiastically promoting Christopher Bollyn’s new book The War On Terror: The Plot To Rule The Middle East.

As I wrote in this column last week, What If Everything We’ve Been Told Is A Lie? What if everything we’ve been told about 9/11 and the “War on Terror” is a lie? And indeed it is.

The government and media have misled us about 9/11 in order to compel public opinion to support the War on Terror.
Why have we gone along with it? Do we accept endless war as normal? Are we numb to the suffering caused by our military interventions?

No. We have simply been propagandized into submission. We have been deceived into thinking that the War on Terror is a good thing, a valiant struggle against terrorists who intend to attack us as we were on 9/11.

Behind the War on Terror is a strategic plan crafted decades in advance to redraw the map of the Middle East. 9/11 was a false-flag operation blamed on Muslims in order to start the military operations for that strategic plan.
Recognizing the origin of the plan is crucial to understanding the deception that has changed our world.
The people who are perpetuating the lies about 9/11 and the “War on Terror” most certainly will not appreciate or accept Bollyn’s book. And there will be many people—including Christians—who are very comfortable believing the lies about 9/11 and the “War on Terror” who will not appreciate it either.

I am aware of the building of underground bunkers. What is your opinion as to why the elite are building them? Is it to hide from God's wrath?

So you believe something will happen 9/23?

I wondered where wormwood hitting the earth would come in at. I saw a futuristic map of America split in two and it appears it may have something to do with an asteroid hitting the earth. I'm wondering if that's why the elite built the bunkers.

The prophecy of Joel cannot fit what's happening now as there is no pandemic - it's all likely a ruse. Unless somethping really is being released on us. I went outside and saw the chemtrailing again so they're up to something. I don't know if it's the spraying of graphene oxide to build 'antennas' within us or whether it's for another purpose - that they're actually spraying us with a virus. But something evil is going on. Not long ago we traveled cross country and they were spraying in every state.
I think ever since Pioneer 10 was sent out all the elites know that we are on a collision course with this Nibiru planet X system and they think the bunkers will somehow save them. This is what the Bible says where they hide in the caves from God's wrath.

The reason the US is split in two is not because of a direct collision with this planet, if that were to happen all life would be obliterated. No, the planet's magnetic and gravitational fields will cause the Earth to stop rotating. when that happens you will get massive flooding as described in that map, also you will get huge earthquakes as described in Revelation and in a matter of hours mountains will "melt" or be thrust up.

I believe the elites will be judged for their actions and the fact that they knew something and tried to save themselves while letting the rest of humanity die will be held against them. I also believe they are liars and cheats. So I think it is important to sound the alarm and let everyone know what they are saying but other than that I'll put my trust in the word of God.

The UK did a study and found those who had been vaccinated were dying at a rate 600% greater than those who had not been vaccinated. Another study found that those who had been fully vaccinated had seen a 50% decline in their immune response. The vaccine and boosters are setting the stage for a massive die off.

Yes I know of the verse where the wicked cry out for the rocks to hide them.

We're already seeing floods from the pole shift in the grand solar minimum. I spoke with someone who said that's probably why they chose this time for the coronavirus shutdown.

I know of one person that died but other than that I don't know anyone else although I've read a number on Medical Kidnap News.

I'm wondering when this is all going to hit the fan. It's November and I haven't heard of a massive die-off. Although it seems as if they would hold back until they went after children.

I can't believe so many Christians are silent about this. It's like everyone is sleepwalking.

The Lord's return won't come soon enough for me. I can hardly bear what's happening now - imagine if it grows worse? I've been upping my vitamin C intake to shore up my adrenals against the stress. Now going after children is too much. We read of the cries of the Israelites going up to God and I'm wondering when He's going to hear ours.

I read that Scofield - who was behind the Rapture theory - which is not in the Bible - was a plant. He allegedly tricked Christians into supporting Zionism. Does anyone on here feel that the Rapture is a lie? What about Zionism?

https://litteraltruth.com/2021/11/02/how-gullible-christians-became-zionists/
The problem is not the word "rapture", for that description was used long before Darby or Scofield were around. John Gill (1697-1771) commenting on 1 Thess. 4:17 writes:

"shall be caught up; suddenly, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, and with force and power; by the power of Christ, and by the ministry and means of the holy angels; and to which rapture will contribute, the agility which the bodies both of the raised and changed saints will have: and this rapture of the living saints will be"
https://www.studylight.org/commentaries/eng/geb/1-thessalonians-4.html

John Gill was a historic pre-mil but he did not teach this modern heresy of dispensationalism. John Gill does not see Matt 24, Mark 13 and Luke 21 as some 7 year tribulation after the saints have been "raptured". John Gill believed in a 1000 year personal reign of Christ on earth in the future, but it was not some return to the Jewish religion including even sacrifices, as the dispensationalists teach. Gill taught the 1000 year reign was Christian and not carnal. On Matthew 24:34 Gill writes:

Verily I say unto you, this generation shall not pass,.... Not the generation of men in general; as if the sense was, that mankind should not cease, until the accomplishment of these things; nor the generation, or people of the Jews, who should continue to be a people, until all were fulfilled; nor the generation of Christians; as if the meaning was, that there should be always a set of Christians, or believers in Christ in the world, until all these events came to pass; but it respects that present age, or generation of men then living in it; and the sense is, that all the men of that age should not die, but some should live

till all these things were fulfilled; see Mt 16:28 as many did, and as there is reason to believe they might, and must, since all these things had their accomplishment, in and about forty years after this: and certain it is, that John, one of the disciples of Christ, outlived the time by many years; and, as Dr. Lightfoot observes, many of the Jewish doctors now living, when Christ spoke these words, lived until the city was destroyed; as Rabban Simeon, who perished with it, R. Jochanan ben Zaccai, who outlived it, R. Zadoch, R. Ishmael, and others: this is a full and clear proof, that not anything that is said before, relates to the second coming of Christ, the day of judgment, and end of the world; but that all belong to the coming of the son of man, in the destruction of Jerusalem, and to the end of the Jewish state.

Let me help you; Its called "the blessed hope" look it up. The reason why you dont see the word "Rapture" in your the Bible is cause it was not written in English, it was translated out of original Greek . This is basic scripture knowledge.

Not sure if anyone is monitoring this, But I am going to share my opinion anyway . I don't ask that you will believe I ask you to prove me wrong.
The rapture As it is being taught by the church today is a deception in most cases I believe it is unknowingly but what it's really called is the gathering and there is a picture of that in the story of the two angels that went to Sodom and Gomorrah and got Lot and his family out.

Word resurrection I reserve for the dead in Christ and the word rapture for those taken alive in Christ. I am always the odd ball so I will declare what i see: Scripture Rev. 11:15 is the resurrection of the dead in Christ and Rev 14:14 s the rapture of the living and final reaping before the bowl judgements.

Revelation 18 3 - 5, But not the rapture, but the gathering, The rapture implies that the church will be taken out before trials and tribulations depending on which rapture theory you follow, which by the way there are four different ones but this says the church or God's people are still there till the end then gathered up and taken out for those who survive till the end, And you have to have an understanding of who God's people are.

A lot of what the Church teaches is a deception although I have more issues with what it doesn't teach
like how to have a direct relationship and communication with God instead of relying on some middle man to do it for us. If I wanted a Pope I would become a catholic.

my opinion, I don't ask you to believe, I ask you to prove me wrong.
That is wisdom to question what the church doesn't teach. You should question everything and everyone. Hence the reason a man should study for himself is so he can stand against the whiles of the devil, The bible does speak of the very subject that you speak of. and this is my understanding of what it says.
In the old testament, mankind needed an intercessor to speak to God, Hence Moses, and the prophets. Fast forward to Jesus Christ who is God in the flesh, He came to this earth age through the womb of Mary, in the flesh body of Jesus Christ, Not sure if there is a character limit, so I will skip forward to Jesus Christ dying on the cross. Christ died on the cross so the Holy Spirit could come. So now this is how it works.
We ( Mankind ) get called to christ, Then get saved ( Repent and get baptized for the remission of sins (the fruit) Acts 2:38 ), When we do that we ( whoever repents and gets baptized ) will receive the Holy Ghost ( The Holy Ghost is a measure of the Holy Spirit, Not full measure. ) So that when we ( the saved ) needs an audience with God. The saved can just talk to God because The Holy Ghost is our intercessor, We know that God can not look on sin ( The Root ) So by having the Holy Ghost it is like the holy spirit is looking in the mirror. And all God sees is himself. So we have our own access to God Through the Holy Spirit. I treat him like a friend that is always in the room. And sometimes I will just start talking to him. Usually asking questions. Which is called prayer. communication with God does not require any ritual like getting on our knees, folding of hands, etc. And we can do that our self. When I do this I start to see God answer my questions In many different ways. For me, that is how I know God is there and listening to me. because he answers my questions, there is no such thing as coincidence.
I plant the seed and God makes it grow.

Although i agree with most of what you wrote , God does not see your sin for it has been washed away, blotted out by the blood of Jesus, you are a child of the Most High God. Yes the the Holy Spirit is our intercessor as the scriptures say :
Romans 8:26-34 NKJV
Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.

If metaphorically you are a car and are covered with dirt. That dirt will keep you from driving to Heaven unless the dirt is removed. So Jesus offers to become the driver of your car and take you to the carwash/sinwash and scrub you clean so you can go to heaven and have eternal life.

What do you mean by " washed away " Metaforicly we were taken to a carwash and scrubbed clean?
Titus 3 : 5Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; 6Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour; 7That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.

Without authentic Jews, Premillennialism doesn't have a view.

Authentic Jews couldn't be Reborn like us ...they couldn't be spiritually resurrected like us ...they couldn't perceive the test we are in. If GOD Sealed a Jew, they had Faith in The City built without hands and were Later resurrected with/after CHRIST.

People that call themselves "Jews" today don't have access to the Image of The Last Adam because they REFUSE The High Priest, Lord JESUS CHRIST.

The City built without hands is The Kingdom of The Body of CHRIST. You can't claim to be a Jew with Faith in It after JESUS Arrived! THE KINGDOM IS NOW.

Do you stick your head in the sand when it comes to 70 A.D.?

In what world can a Jew claim they are a Jew without Atonement or a High Priest? They would just be like anyone else that doesn't believe in JESUS.

You say, oh well they have Abraham ...well, Abraham was about Faith in The City built without hands ...and as i already said ...that is The Kingdom of The Body of CHRIST ...what more can i say to get through to them?

Authentic Jews are very much The Root ...that isn't what we have walking around today.

JESUS Fulfilled Mosaic Law, aka JESUS Ended Mosaic Law because Everything is Through Him. You don't get to say you are a Jew anymore without JESUS.

Romans 9:32
Wherefore? Because they sought it not by faith, but as it were by the works of the law. For they stumbled at that stumblingstone;

-------------------------------------------

"Christ’s sacrifice on the cross, fulfilled the old covenant- death for sin. This was mercy for our unrighteousness, our sins have been wiped clean by His blood. To uphold the old covenant we’d have to reject Christ's Fulfillment of it and the new covenant He brought to us."

i got this last bit from here: https://www.quora.com/Did-God-chang...e&__sncid__=23673019422&__snid3__=32440297590

The rapture As it is being taught by the church today is a deception in most cases I believe it is unknowingly but what it's really called is the gathering
So what's the difference between "gathering" and "gathering the saints to catch them up to Heaven"? Or do you just enjoy splitting hairs?

"Authentic Jews" have been experiencing the New Birth every since the day of Pentecost, so what's your point? The church at Jerusalem was the first church ever, and it consisted of born-again authentic Jews. From the tribes of Israel.

Also there is no such thing as a "spiritual" resurrection. The resurrection of the saints will include actual transformed physical human bodies. The saints do not go to Heaven as ethereal spirits.

It is quite evident that you are seriously confused, so who has been leading you astray?
