Do Jews still believe the Messiah is coming?

Yes, Jews still believe the messiah is coming and that he hasn’t come yet. They believe once the messiah comes he will bring peace upon the earth and unit everyone. They also believe that the messiah will accomplish the mission of getting the Jews back to isreal, rebuilding the temple, and he will do this all in one go, and that the messiah won’t die and then come back to complete the mission. You wanna know my guess? My guess is that if all of this is true (the Bible and what it says about the future) the Jews could be deceived into thinking the Antichrist is the messiah

if someone had worked out their own salvation enough to overcome sin, then to tell others they sin would be a lie and would be wrong, unkind, not right, untruthful. it would not be something to hide from others but to let them know about.

those who are not working out their own salvation, i.e. - believe in following the narrow path and all that is good would have reasons to disbelieve this could ever be possible. and with good reason, having never had things properly explained to them with an open mind to learn and understand more things of God (1 Cor. 13:12, 1 Cor. 8:2).

As ImageofGod already told you ...you can't comprehend someone not sinning because you are on the wrong side of the veil ...you love your sin too much to care about being Saved.

to know another's heart is a difficult thing. if the Spirit has given you this gift then you are able to see whether another is truthful or not. most probably have not been given such a gift.

another way would be insight given from the Spirit as how to speak. some might think they speak from Spirit, when actually it is their beliefs and a general judgement. not of the other -- but a belief which might be from Spirit, or not. and not applying to every person.

If JESUS is the veil ...guess Who you are on the wrong side of? JESUS said "GO AND SIN NO MORE" (John 8:11).

" sin no more" is a goal to strive for, not a self-deception to fall into.

all Scripture is relevant.

like 1st John, where John says " i write this to you so that you may not sin"

then, he goes on to say " if anyone does sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ"

you have to apply both of those, not promote one and ignore the other.

It seems to me the zionists vary. Some of them believe the messiah is "an idea" rather than a person. Some believe the messiah is a person and they are leaning on a broken covenant, and repeating the error of the first century Jews. Their "messiah" will be whoever gets their temple built- regardless of his heritage, his personal rightousness (or lack therof) or his doctrine.

That's ultimately what will be their downfall. Jesus told his disciples The days will come, when ye shall desire to see one of the days of the Son of man, and ye shall not see it. And they shall say to you, See here; or, see there: go not after them, nor follow them. And He's absolutely right- I mean, we all want to see him; but we know that his second coming will not be a gradual thing. He is coming like lighting. The Jews don't know that- they just know they want to see the messiah. They are like a teenage girl looking for a man with money, even if he's a drug dealing pimp that will prostitute her out. He's probably going to be the man of lawlessness.

The messianic Jews (jews that believe in Jesus) are essentially Christians- and they know better, so they're just looking for Jesus like we are. They're probably going to have some work to do when the "messiah" comes on the scene. Or they'll be the first ones to get killed.

In many sects of modern Judaism, the messianic age is thought to start in the Jewish year 6000, where it is now currently the year 5782. With 218 years to go, I don't suspect anyone currently alive from those religions expects to see the messiah in their lifetime.

I'm not as familiar with messianic Judaism, but I suspect it is not as Christian as you might think. Moslems believe that Jesus Christ was the messiah and will come again, but they do not believe in the occurance of the crucifixion or the deity of Christ. I suspect that many forms of messianic Judaism are much the same (not Christian) and likely resemble Islam more than Christianity.

There is fundamentally more to being Christian than merely accepting Jesus as messiah.

atheists only want excuses to keep GOD out of their lives, so they construe what The Test is with satan's comforting lies.

babylon knows GOD is looking for His Children, so they make their own Garden of Eden definition of "good" and claim they will pass The Test.

satan tricks dead spirits into thinking they are Saved by causing society (worldliness) to promote twisted "good" works through pride. Helping other people is great, but you are not Saved by doing it without GOD'S Guidance.

satan said our eyes would be opened ..they opened to his will and closed to GOD'S. he said we wouldn't die ..when he represented death. he was saying we could make our own rules because GOD told us we would die ..and we did, spiritual blindness (death).

You pass The Garden of Eden Test by Choosing Life which is Answering with JESUS' Blood to be Reborn to His Image (Child of GOD). For The Kingdom Now and for Judgment.

i wonder if dividing the sheep from the goats has anything to do which side of the veil you are on:

i think the problem is that you guys are not getting what sin actually is. "Missing the mark" means not being on the Narrow Path. sin is telling GOD that you would rather have satan's view of reality!

There are multiple definitions of sin, and I don’t really mind how anyone puts it, but bottem line we can all agree that sin is simply disobedience to God. That’s it. Simple.
