Thats awfully decent of you for sure to be concerned that you may be the cause of me being removed from the forum. And I can accept that you don't care what I think of your writing ability - but to make that your entire life is a little misleading. Whether I am here for long or not is not a burden to me. I have been trying to address just one central concern I have for the US in the last ten years online. The overwhelming experience has been an exhausting process of many many hours just responding to immature and implausible comments. It is epidemic. Just ignore me as you say.

here's one:

My friend Vicki is spiritually very strong, even more than she knows. I knew from her heavy involvement with Kabala that demons were present around her. The first time I visited her they kept their distance while we chatted. But the moment I stepped out her door, two of them escorted me down the hall, down the stairs, into the street to my car, and watched me drive away. Plain as day, they didn't even try to hide from me because they know God has gifted me with the ability to discern them.

When I prayed for her (and I mostly pray in the Spirit), I often got this visual impression where it's night time, and I'm elevated like up in a high tree to where I can see across the rooftops. Off a mile or so is her apartment building. Buildings usually give off some ambient light, but the light from her building was much brighter than the surroundings. Bright enough that it shines up upon the bottom of what at first looks to be some very dark tumultuous clouds. But looking closer, I can see it is a thick black swirling cloud of dark spirits. They're like a ginormous nasty swarm of mosquitoes, just looking for way in to draw blood, being held back solely by the light.

So one night I'm praying for her, and it’s concerted prayer; the swarm is thick and heavy and really agitated - pressing in to the point where they were smothering out the light. I got a sense of real urgency, that something really bad was happening. So in the Name of Jesus I travailed in prayer to bind and silence and swat at a few of them. But I was just one intercessor against a huge horde, definitely outnumbered. So I called upon angels to go in to fight and occupy the enemy; and I saw angels start charging into the darkness. And then I command more of them to move in to minister to her and get her to a place of safety… and I see more angels rush off into the scene. And so that is how I fight, in the Spirit of God claiming the Authority of Christ to bind, silence, and cast out the darkies; and commanding the angelic host to go and do battle and occupy them while others go in and get her out. And I'm watching this battle occur in my vision; I don't ever see her, but I see the heavenly forces rushing in to do battle against the swarm.

So the next day I'm talking to her, and before I can say anything she starts telling me about how she has always had trouble with certain issues. They had been recently piling up and squeezing her to the point where she was starting to come apart and have a panic attack over how she was going to deal with them. She confessed that she’d dealt with it before by cutting herself (including her wrists) and that last night she had a blade out and was ready to do it again. Then she said, 'it was so weird, because all of a sudden this voice started telling me to get out, get out, leave; and something invisible grabbed me by the arm and dragged me out of the apartment and down to my car.' She ended up on a bench at the beach where a Bible she found and people she encountered helped her find peace with the issue.

The gifts of God are powerful tools… against the enemy, and for the blessing of others!

NO Jesus is King the text must be in context with the application to know the authorial intent. If you are going to try and teach Hermentuetics to know those linguistics are not authoritative manty of us are learned in Greek and Hebrew. One doesn't have to be
linguistics to know Greek or Hebrew I speak five languages in including used in the gift of tongues. The modern tongue is a secular approach to supernatural empowerment. Human intellect is king not the word of God.

I wasn’t going to post anything on this thread, but linguistic curiosity has gotten the better of me….

I‘m hoping that some one can post a link to a YT video, a sound clip, whatever, of someone speaking in what you perceive to be real, legitimate tongues, and then the same for someone you perceive is essentially “faking it”, so to speak. I’d be curious to know why you think the ‘legit’ speaker is indeed ‘legit’ and why the false speaker is just the opposite.

The clip could even be of yourself speaking – doesn’t have to be long, maybe a minute or two.

I’m essentially trying to determine, at least from a linguistic standpoint, what the difference between the two is, if indeed anything. I have some ideas on what these differences may be, but I’ll hold of from posting them as I don’t want to skew the example(s).

It may be possible to post some speech that presents phonetically inflected and in a glottal and nuanced cadence that mimics a real language but is in fact entirely false. How would you know if that were a tongue of men or of angels if in fact there were no possibility to determine what is being spoken even though it sounded to the ear as Hindi for example? Set along side any online babble that presents as tongues you may well believe that the false language were in fact the real language. So how would you be able to detect in an auditory theatre what was real and what was false - other than by asserting that the charismatic babble were the babble? If you did that then you may be endorsing another falsehood entirely. Just my thoughts - but I could record something to show you what I mean if necessary.

Neither the flesh nor Satan nor any demon makes me quiver. He is an unbeliever and so rather than express a meaning he is incapable of understanding I would rather demonstrate to him that spoken language is as easy to fake as it is a simple matter to convince a child that you are a good man because the child is afraid when you rescue them. Deception is rather more complicated than a fact of discerning a persons alleged intentions. Like I said - he isn't a believer so his intentions are irrelevant.

Too many hold to an outward form of godliness in these days, just as Jesus told us.
He also warned some would do wonders in His name yet He would "know" Him not.
We must be in personal relationship with Jesus , the best way I have heard is as if I give Him a call first thing in the morning, then don't hang up all day.

I don't doubt he has a post history. And I used to be a Satanist - not a flower sales man before I came to Christ - so let me do what I am good at. It may just answer many questions that are raised along with the objections that are raised by believers and unbelievers about the matter of tongues in the churches.

the biggest abandonment of the word of God is when one uses pagan practices to describe or discredit the Holy Spirit instead of the Word of God to prove their point. Acts 1:8 is Jesu speaking Mark 16 is Jesus Speaking John chapter 14 & 15 is Jesus Speaking.

1 Cor chapter 12 through 14 is the Holy Spirit speaking through Paul. But I will seek secular and pagan practices and past experience when I serve the Devil to make one position authoritative over the word of God.

When I hear how one states they use to be a devil worshiper and today they think they have more revelation from the word of God than everyone else shows that 1. Pride is still ruling.

The gifts of the Holy Spirit are for today Because the word of God never states they have stopped. All have addressed the foolishness and abuse of the gifts but those who try to make all Pentecostals and Charismatics to have been taken over by the devil is foolish thinking.

I would answer it, but his posting history shows the majority of threads he participates in are those dealing with Tongues. It's rather obvious he gains from each thread and uses it on the next. And now, he is pretending to be able to know the differences in linguistic. There are literally less than 50 true college and professional linguistic's worldwide who travel and study the differences between races, creeds, and territorial. I doubt he is one of them. and to offer him anything, is only offering him fuel towards the next Tongues Thread.
