No one is denying Christ! That is a copout aimed at those who disagree with you!

What you and Laura are denying is the literal reign of Christ on this earth which is and must fulfill the prophecy of the Son of God sitting on the throne of David.

David's throne was literal and so will Christs' throne be literal to fulfill the prophecy.
You would rather have your pretend 1000 years instead of facing that the test is right now. GOD doesn't give a generation an unfair chance of being Saved ...take a second and realize how ridiculous that would be. Everything you think that is going to happen in the Millennium Reign happens in the Infinite Afterlife.

We are The Temple of GOD now.

We are only the temple of God by way of the Holy Spirit dwelling in us, which is the down-payment on our salvation that Paul spoke of!

As I told you before, you have been watching to many of these psycho videos! Get in the scripture, my friend!

“But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God’s own possession, so that you may proclaim the excellencies of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; for you once were not a people, but now you are the people of God; you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy.”

The bottom line Laura and PJ, is that you are denying Rev. 20:6, that Jesus literally reigns for a 1000 years after the resurrection, not in this life!

But all who hold to Covenant Theology are denying this to push their agenda!

The Lord is not happy with this false teaching and all who teach this heresy will answer to the Lord on the appointed day!

All I have to say on the subject!
Sadly, you have actually past sentence on yourself, dear brother. To say Christ is not ruling and reigning now is to deny Christ--who He is and what He came to do. Jesus Himself said ,

"IT IS FINISHED!"

His mission on this earth is completed--he has no need to come back to it again except to retrieve the believers and exercise His judgment. Satan certainly would prefer to say Christ didn't fulfill His mission and that is his ultimate purpose in propagating the false doctrine of Christ's literal millennial reign. Once he returns, the door is closed and their is no more opportunity for salvation.

There are numerous verses that say Christ is currently sitting at the right hand of the father--this represents his reign! View some here:https://www.openbible.info/topics/jesus_sitting_at_the_right_hand_of_the_father

To sit at the right hand of an earthly king was a place of honor, denoting special trust, authority from, and relationship with the king. It was something that was understood without needing explanation at the time.

If you were to sit at the right hand of the King meant that you acted with his authority. Those who came to you would treat you with respect and obedience, as if you were the king yourself.

It's one of the many demonstrations in the Bible, which is not readily understood by us in our time that made perfect sense to the culture as it was then.

Well, at least I'm still your "dear Brother." I was worried there for a while that we were no longer in fellowship.

Well Charlie--I would like us to shake hands now as brother and sister in Christ. And end on a good note.:)

The unfortunate thing about these forums--instead of simply presenting our case, one often becomes argumentative (i'm saying on the whole)--and I always feel badly about that as what's the point, really? I think one likes to feel right--there is a sense of power, but we have to be careful as Satan would like nothing more than to divide the flock.

(I think if one's friends or family peaked over our shoulders they would be embarrassed at some of the behaviour here.)

I know for sure I would be a lot more gracious if I was sitting with you face to face. My apologies if I've offended you in anyway. Maybe we can pray for each other and for everyone on this site to be more respectful and loving towards each other.

"With all humility and gentleness, with patience, showing tolerance for one another in love,"--Ephesians 4:2

Blessings, Laura

Now that's something I think we can all agree on! Don't worry about offending me, after being on these boards for over 10 years, lol, offending me is impossible. I just don't like to argue and generate that anger that comes with it.

But, bless you, Laura, that post shows me where your heart is! There are few here who could type out those words!

Being wary of beliefs inspired by the very antiChristian Talmud is warranted.

"For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist. Look to yourselves, that we lose not those things which we have wrought, but that we receive a full reward. Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son. If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed: For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds." - 2 John 1:7-11 KJV

When does the following happen in your order of events? You want the goats to be raised a thousand years later, right?

Matthew 25:31-46

When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:

32 And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats:

33 And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.

34 Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:

i'm pretty sure that is the battle of gog and magog at the end of the thousand years ...The Church Age ends.
Well, some people conflate the two. There is the "real Gog and Magog" which Ezekiel spoke of via God's Holy Spirit revelation, it is about a War that happens just before or just after the Pre Trib Rapture. The Gog and Magog "War" of Revelation is just John using the Old Testament to paint a picture of the book of Revelation as he did with much of the book of Revelation. To see Rev. 17's Harlot Judgment just turn to Daniel 5 and read that chapter, it's the Mene Mene Tekel, thy kingdom is taken away from thew this day handwriting on the wall. The book of Revelation has 404 verses, 289 cite the Old Testament, or has Old Testament verbiage. The Four Horses of Zechariah were used to paint a picture in the opening of the Seals etc. etc. Likewise, Gog and Magog is used by John to paint a picture of an event that will be almost te same as the former event. Thus, Gog and Magog are defeated by God Himself (Russia, Turkey, and Iran's Armies are basically wiped out by God). So, John sees a vision of fire from Heaven wiping out these end-time Armies after Satan has been released and deceives mankind once again, this time God uses fire as in the case of the original Gog and Magog war, thus John just uses that Name to describe this event.

When Christ returns He immediately destroys the anti-christ, this is why He returns at that very time to save Israel from total destruction. Zechariah tells us that 2/3 of Israel will die in this battle with the anti-christ. But there is another threat to the anti-christ from the nations who are trying to help Israel, so he pulls out of Israel to take care of them, thinking he will come back and finish off Israel easily.

When he returns to deliver the final blow to Israel, finishing off the 1/3 left, Israel calls out to God for mercy, and to their total dismay their Saviour is Jesus Christ, the One their fathers crucified. This is at the Second Coming.

The next order of business for Christ is the judgement of the nations, the scripture you quoted in your post, Matt. 25:31-46.

The sheep and the goat nations are separated by Christ. The sheep nations are the nations that aided Israel or at least did not raise their hand against Gods chosen people, the goat nation are the nations that warred against Israel in the this battle, the Battle of Armageddon.

Now the reign of Christ on earth begins with all nations on earth under His rule for 1000 years.

The 34th vs you quoted concerning "them on His right hand" the sheep nation are welcomed into the reign of Christ for 1000 years. In vs. 41 we see the goat nations, those on the left hand, condemned by Christ into everlasting fire.

Most theologians claim that the leaders of these goat nations that warred against Christ will be executed on the spot, but the people of those nations will be granted to live during His reign.

Oh, CHRIST Returns twice ...it all makes sense now.

So somehow, these people that were not involved in attacking Israel will not be separated at the Judgment of the sheep and goats ...how convenient.

At the rapture the Lord does not come to earth, Paul tells us they meet the Lord in the air and so shall they forever be with the Lord.

"Air" is "aer" and refers to the lower atmosphere or from about 6000 ft down. So the Lord will come at within 6000 ft. of earth at the rapture.

On the other hand, at the Second Coming the Lord comes to earth with all the saints, as Zechariah and Paul tells us.

Those saints that come with Him at the Second coming are the raptured saints just before the anti-christ comes on the scene.

Read for yourself from the great theologians, unless you know more than they. They claim the separation is speaking of the responsible, the leaders that made those decisions to go to war. The scripture does not say, but their reasoning of the event seems reasonable to me!

If the separation is about leaders ...you still can't explain this verse:

34 Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:

IF you had read the scripture, which I know for sure you have NOT, you would know that the modern nation, Jordan, is one of the main nations that help, feed, and give Israel safety in refuge while under the assault of the anti-christ!
