The scripture plainly shows us at the end of the 1000 year reign of Christ, Satan will be released from Hell and go straight into rebellion against Christ. He brings yet another revolt against God with the people of unbelief still on this earth. Relatively small in number though.
The scripture says they are destroyed, and the world enters the Perfect Age where all sin is gone, not a trace of sin left on earth. There is no end to this Age, it carries on into infinity.

Behold, I tell you a mystery: We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed — in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. Why? Because everyone in their flesh bodies will be instantly changed into their new incorruptible bodies. We need to understand that everyone has two bodies: one of flesh and one of spirit. The spiritual body does not come to life or become free of the flesh body until the flesh body is destroyed. This happens at the 7th Trump, at the Second Coming when Jesus Christ returns as King of kings and Lord of lords.

You're exactly right, flesh and blood will not inherit heaven, the Kingdom of God!
They won't be in heaven, they will be on this earth during the reign of Christ and then the new earth and New Jerusalem comes down out of heaven for man.
The scripture tells us that man 100 years old will not be faint or weak during this time.

PJ, you are making a major mistake of discerning the scripture from Trumps, seals, etc.
I agree with your order of events, but we will not be in Heaven, when Christ returns, He stays!
Not only is He here for His 1000 year reign, He is here for all eternity.
You do know that when the New Jerusalem comes down out of Heaven, as John told us, the Throne of God comes with it, God the Father is now dwelling on earth with man.

Have you not read in scripture where Zechariah said, He shall return and all the saints with Him?
Those who have resurrected/raptured just before the anti-christ comes meet the Lord in the air, and go to be with Him during the Great Tribulation. At His Second Coming, they come back with Him to this earth. They have already received their glorified bodies.

Did you catch the last line of verse 4? "And they lived and ruled with Christ a thousand years.” What a privilege and honor! If you ever need some motivation to keep fighting the good fight, look no farther than Rev. 20:4. Because if you are one of God's elect, you will be a part of the first resurrection when He returns, and you will rule with Jesus Christ for the entire Millennium.

The core issue is how you view Revelation 20. You think there are going to be literal resurrected Saints that are going to rule ...when It was being symbolic. The first Resurrection is always about CHRIST. A thousand years where people get an unfair chance of being saved doesn't make any sense. JESUS is Reigning now, He showed us that He is with the destruction of Israel ...His Judgment on The City.

Yes we will, praise God! Those who are killed in the Great Tribulation will be counted among the earlier raptured saints in the first resurrection. Together this will include every believer from the time of Adam to that point.
They will reign with Christ for 1000 years.
All the lost souls of all time who have died, from the very beginning are in Hades waiting for the White Throne of Judgement.
