We will have to agree to disagree; and I will pray for you.
no, thanks.
i do not need you to pray that i become lost in the same wrong mindset that you have.
We will have to agree to disagree; and I will pray for you.
Mat 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
When we confess Christ and are saved we seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness then God will supply our needs food and clothing.
Act 10:34 Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons:
Act 10:35 But in every nation he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him.
Those who work righteousness is accepted with God.
So while the righteousness of Christ is imputed to us we have to work righteousness to be accepted with God.
Rom 6:16 Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?
Rom 6:17 But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you.
Rom 6:18 Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness.
We are servants of righteousness so we actively have to pursue and do righteousness.
1Jn 3:9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.
1Jn 3:10 In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.
Whoever does not do righteousness is not of God.
Righteousness to be active in our life has to be an act of doing good.
Some people like to make the excuse the righteousness of Christ is imputed to them and say their lifestyle does not matter too much but righteousness has to be an act to be active in their life.
It is like some people say they do not have to do works for we are saved by faith but charity, love in action, is greater than faith and love can only be done in works for it to be active in our life which James said faith without works is dead, and a person is justified by works and not faith alone.
And John said do not love in word, neither in tongue, but in deeds and in truth.
When we first confess Christ and are saved the righteousness of Christ is imputed to us.
And then we have to work righteousness to have it active in our life for we are now led of the Spirit.
When we have faith and confess Christ we are saved.
And then we have to have works of love to have faith active in our life for we are led of the Spirit now.
But some people do not actively do righteousness and works of love and think they are alright.
You have my prayers anyway.no, thanks.
i do not need you to pray that i become lost in the same wrong mindset that you have.
You have my prayers anyway.
Don't worry...if I am truly lost in the mindset that I have, God is not going to bring you over to my mindset just because I pray for it to happen. God doesn't answer prayers in the affirmative that aren't according to His will.
However, if I am in the right mindset, I believe that He is going to show you the truth of what I am preaching, in His word.
I am also not opposed to your lifting up a prayer or two for me.
No, it is you that is doing us the favor. The more the better it is for us.Thank you, peachy.
No, it is you that is doing us the favor.
I believe in and on the Lord Jesus Christ with all of my heart.my prayer for you is to believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved.
nothing else will work. nothing.
not good deeds, not good works. not keeping the Law. not good behavior. nothing.
I believe in and on the Lord Jesus Christ with all of my heart.
I consider that He gave us teachings that we are to follow; and that we are to receive Him not only as Saviour, but as Lord.
Jesus is my Lord; and this statement is also backed up by the fact that I obey Him.

I am not a friend to an unbeliever.I am new here, peachy, I was hoping that we could disagree and still be friends.
If one is willing to understand the opposite view one can go to the scripture and see if those things are true or false.
Many friendships have been made by just trying to understand the opposite view.

I am not a friend to an unbeliever.
And what is it do you think you will reap from it?OK, I'm sorry you feel that way. I still consider us friends despite our differences.
And what is it do you think you will reap from it?
And why would you be sorry?
So, you think that if we are obedient to the Lordship of Jesus Christ in our life, that we are not trusting in Jesus Christ and what He did for us on the Cross, for salvation?then you trusting something else ,
that will not get it done.
So how much time have you spent with him in his every day life?@Charlie24 is a rather mature believer in Christ.
So how much time have you spent with him in his every day life?
I never go by what they say I go by what they do.
Again, as I stated to you in another thread:I never go by what they say I go by what they do.
Hi Charlie, (and welcome to CC)I am new here, peachy, I was hoping that we could disagree and still be friends.
If you want to see any fruit you have to sow it for you reap what you sow.Again, as I stated to you in another thread:
go look in a mirror as you say this.
As I read your post in multiple threads, I see no fruit.
