That's most likely the scripture that says,,,,,, woman must remain silent in the church.I'll find it not that i agree with it.No, it doesn't. Not anywhere.

There's a lot of evidence... you have chosen to ignore it. So if I show it to you... you will discount all of it.I see you haven't supported your assertions with evidence, but instead have chosen to throw shade. That's pitiable.
I see you haven't supported your assertions with evidence,
You aren't one of them, and neither is the other poster to whom I addressed my post. Some people speak with authority and don't need evidence to support their assertions.
There is no evidence to ignore. You made an assertion that has absolutely no support in Scripture. Claiming there is a lot and showing none of it is weak. There's a lot of evidence... you have chosen to ignore it. So if I show it to you... you will discount all of it.
I read your entire post. I addressed the points I wanted to address. I called "sexist" the sexist comment you made. Maybe you feel offended because you really are sexist. With your response, "Sucks to be you," I'd say my comment hit the mark, and you don't like the feeling of conviction.Just like you read what you wanted out of my original post in this thread. I stated cases for both sexes to lead and be in leadership but you discounted them and disparaged me in the process.
That is disputable...although I am not the kind to testify of myself. You aren't one of them, and neither is the other poster to whom I addressed my post.
Im not convicted...There is no evidence to ignore. You made an assertion that has absolutely no support in Scripture. Claiming there is a lot and showing none of it is weak.

I have heard many women speak and preach. I have never heard a woman speak to usurp authority over a man. I've never even heard of a woman speaking to usurp authority over a man.
Apparently, you don't understand what the phrase means. If you did, you wouldn't make such silly assertions.
It does, yet people change it every day to make it to say what they want. For example:The Bible says what the Bible says and tells us we have no authority to change it. Rev. 22;18,19, Deut. 4;2 and 12;32
Neither of which states that women may not "minister".It sounds sexist,,i'll say what most cannot.
1Co 14:34![]()
Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience, as also saith the law.
1Co 14:35![]()
And if they will learn any thing, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is a shame for women to speak in the church.
There also that one about eve being fooled and not Adam,,,,,,,yes it would be a over generalization of interpretation.
Who suggested anything about changing Scripture? "Usurp authority" is a translational choice only. Many translators have chosen different terms to translate authentein. Are they "changing Scripture" in your opinion? The Bible says what the Bible says and tells us we have no authority to change it. Rev. 22;18,19, Deut. 4;2 and 12;32
They were given to all Christians.I consider that the following verses of scripture are given to me.
Jhn 15:20, Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also.
1Jo 4:6, We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.
Please read your Bible more carefully. What you claim is forbidden is not.I think everyone can look up the statistics on what sort of children single mothers raise. It is no different for pastors, and that's exactly why they are forbidden in the bible. It's nothing against women personally, that's just not what God designed them to do.
Can you show me a verse? Because I've been through the new testament several times and have yet to find that. Please read your Bible more carefully. What you claim is forbidden is not.
You made the claim; the obligation is on you to support your claim. I'm saying your claim is not supported, which would require me to post the entire New Testament to substantiate. Can you show me a verse? Because I've been through the new testament several times and have yet to find that.
