17so that the man of God may be complete, fully equipped for every good work.…
This is nothing NEW but very clearly tell us what the revelation of the word of God will do for the believer in the observation of the text we see
the main point All Scripture is from GOD second point all scripture will "
- make one wise FOR salvation through Christ Jesus
- useful for instruction
- for conviction
- for correction
- for training
For the purpose, so the believer will achieve :
Be complete and fully equipped for ever good work.
This is nothing new it is for all this speak only of man and the ability for man in Christ to do and be a witness for Christ.
It is not a new revelation or saying you will know all of the Living God. It is saying here what you can know and do.

Yes it does say "Let Us ..." Who is the Us? The Us is Elohim. Elohim is a curious word. Jews say it means God. But what do you call a false god - elohim. What do you call a person who does the will of God - elohim. Square the circle. God, wooden idol or human?
If it is God's name, then there must be caveats unsaid as the term is used for idols and humans.

We know Jesus was born as a man and modeled how we are to live.
He spoke of how He only did what He saw the Father do, He only said what He heard the Father say. He taught that when Holy Spirit comes He would guide us in ALL truth as He would only say what He was given to say.
That is more than enough instruction to understand the Trinity.

It is not I who shapes the Heavens. I only take the crumbs and make my worldview that does not take away the Glory of God. I am not a diviner that can see before the beginning. I do not see my God as a Concept but a Person. I don't make broken cisterns and pour in salted water and say it is Holy. Drinking salted waters of the sea will kill you.

If I should sin against Jesus, can I be forgiven? It is written - Yes. If I should blaspheme the Father, what will happen? It is written - I will surely die. If I should blaspheme against the Holy Ghost, will I be forgiven? It is written - No. Can this be squared in the trinity, when all are God?
If there is no inferiority in the godhead, square "My father is greater than I", "My Father .. My God".
I will ask for the verse number if you are willing to share.

I like the way the kjv puts it.
2Ti 3:16, All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
2Ti 3:17, That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.
What was meant by "perfect" in the days of King James is even what we mean by "perfect" today.
