It seem to me catholic believe Mary Omni present like God able to hear all request from people all over the world n the same time. It is wrong only God Omni present, not mary
You are correct when you say that, "St John tells us that there were many things Jesus did/said which were not recorded in the scriptures."
If fact, those that demand proof from scriptures, the Bible, are in fact wrong. How do I know this? St Paul tells us clearly that 'Solara Scriptura', belief in the Bible's written word is wrong. Believing only in the written word of the Bible is wrong. Read St Paul's message (2 Thessalonians 2:15), So then, brothers and sisters, stand firm and hold fast to the teachings we passed on to you, whether by word of mouth or by letter.
This is a clear teaching of St Paul that 'Sola Scriptura' is not a true doctrine. No where does the Bible claim that Scripture alone is the authoritative word of God.
The component letters of the New Testament were being circulated among the believers within Paul's lifetime. All of the New Testament was written within thirty years of Jesus' death. Also, keep in mind that there was no accepted 'New Testament' scripture as part of the Bible until after 300 years after Jesus ascension. In fact, Jesus didn't leave a book, instead, He left a Church. Dispute this if you will but it is the truth.
1. The Word of God is truth, only the bible contains God's written word.Sola Scriptura is a false teaching. Nowhere does the Bible/Scripture itself affirm that the Bible is the sole authority of the Word of God. St Paul himself, in the Bible states that we should adhere to all that he and the church teaches, orally and in writing. In the Letter of Timothy, again from the Bible, it is taught that Jesus' Church, is the pillar and foundation of all truth.
Please show me where the Bible/Scripture teaches that it is the sole authority of God's truth. I am all ears.
I believe why catholic empezized in unwritten teaching so she can put additional teaching like pray to Mary, sailing forgiveness certificate to make money and other manipulations.1. The Word of God is truth, only the bible contains God's written word.
2. The church is described in Timothy as the pillar and bulwark of the truth, that is to say the defence.
3. The RCC is not that church, the Catholic church from it's earliest days slipped it's moorings. It is built upon a false foundation of the bishop and sacraments as opposed to the foundation laid by Peter [the rock] and Paul, which foundation is Christ.
Sola Scriptura is a false teaching. Nowhere does the Bible/Scripture itself affirm that the Bible is the sole authority of the Word of God. St Paul himself, in the Bible states that we should adhere to all that he and the church teaches, orally and in writing. Nowhere does the Bible/Scripture teach Sola Scripture, that only the Scripture/Bible is the authority of God. Surely, the Bible is the written word of God. It is true, make no mistake about that. I believe that. But, make no mistake that it is not the only authority from God. Scripture states that Scripture, God's word will lead all to holy lives. But never/never/never does the Bible say scripture alone. And you know this. If I am wrong, please show me. St Paul tells us, in the Bible, to follow all that has been taught you orally (in tradition) and in writing. How much clearer could have St Paul been to deny 'Sola Scriptura'?
Furthermore, Sola Fideles, Faith alone is also a false teaching, not from God and certainly not from Scripture. Show me where the Bible says that salvation is from faith alone. Fact is you can't, this is a fiction of Martin Luther. In fact the only place you can find through faith alone is in the Book of James which clearly states that 'faith alone, without works is dead.! It couldn't be more clearly written.
Sola Scriptura and Sola Fideles are both non Biblical and non Scriptural. If I am wrong, please show me from the Bible where I'm wrong. Thanks.
Keep in mind, when you follow both Sola Scriptura and Sola Fidelis, you are following the teachings of Martin Luther, Hitler's theologian, a hater of Jews and an advocate of the holocaust. Read about your hero Martin L. :On the Jews and Their Lies - Wikipedia He was the Adolph Hitler's theologian, an accomplice to the murder of millions. On the Jews and Their Lies - Wikipedia
You are wrong. Sadly, you have been convinced by Catholic propaganda.Nowhere does the Bible/Scripture teach Sola Scripture, that only the Scripture/Bible is the authority of God. Surely, the Bible is the written word of God. It is true, make no mistake about that. I believe that. But, make no mistake that it is not the only authority from God. You hold Luther guilty because of what Hitler's actions? That's both fallacious and stupid. Luther was never Hitler's theologian; they lived four hundred years apart.Keep in mind, when you follow both Sola Scriptura and Sola Fidelis, you are following the teachings of Martin Luther, Hitler's theologian, a hater of Jews and an advocate of the holocaust. There is no other authority.Nowhere does the Bible/Scripture teach Sola Scripture, that only the Scripture/Bible is the authority of God. Surely, the Bible is the written word of God. There is no other authority.
Paul taught only God's word, on the one occasion where he gives his opinion he makes it clear that he is giving his opinion.
The Holy Spirit is the Authority in all church matters, He will never contradict the word of God. Could He inspire new scriptures? yes, will He? no. There is no need.
What we need is to understand the scriptures we have better. The church has only scratched the surface.
What pope or what council of bishops or any other person or persons have ever spoken a word or produced a written work which even comes close in weight and authority and glory of the bible. The book of Mormon for eg is a book of mutterings and nonsense.
Jesus said in Matthew 15:9 "They worship me in vain; their teachings are merely human rules.'"Written bible is enough as constitution of the doctrine. Catholic try to make a reason to make lie doctrine for example purgatory, if one question where in the Bible is purgatory than catholic able to lie and say that is unwritten teaching.

.Very true. The written word of the bible is not and cannot be the only source of God's word to the Church when scripture says otherwise. St Paul was very clear in this issue. He pointed at two sources. St John did the same too. As I said in my earlier post, it behoves on us to test every spirit as the bible enjoins us to do. However, the question remains, how do we even begin to test when we lack proper understanding of the truth of the Word and when the Holy Spirit should guide, we put stumbling blocks in our heart. This is happening more than 2000years Christ Jesus came. It is sad indeed. You are correct when you say that, "St John tells us that there were many things Jesus did/said which were not recorded in the scriptures."

If I were to ask you what is the pillar and foundation of God's word, would you answer, the Bible or the Church? Many would answer 'The bible alonel', Well, you'd be wrong. What does the Bible say is the Pillar and foundation of the Church? In fact, the Bible itself tells us that the Bible is not the pillar and foundation of the truth, instead it is God's Church. (1 Timothe 3:15) So those who ask you, where is this in the bible disregard the truth of Paul's teaching.
Yea! giving it back to them in their own language! love it!Sola Scriptura is a false teaching. Nowhere does the Bible/Scripture itself affirm that the Bible is the sole authority of the Word of God.
