Absolutely, being the son of a undertaker I have some views on this. One could ask the same for one lost at sea, or tore to pieces by a vechicle or an animal as Jacob thought his son Joseph was. Or the one who lies on a rooftop in the hot sun for days. The body we have now has no value after we die. Adam was made mortal from the beginning for he was made from the earth, and we know flesh and blood cannot enter the kingdom of God.

Yeah, but you come back looking like the vampire chick from the Netflix Dracula series. Getting cremated is a bad idea. Also, if your corpse is mummified, you are stuck that way forever, too.
When Jesus brought Lazarus back to life, he didn't bring him back as a decomposing zombie (that would have still been really cool if he did, though), he completely restored the body- it doesn't matter what happens to your body when you die.

Why the term ashes to ashes, dust to dust. What about those who die at sea, their bodies have totally dissipated and dare absorbaed everywheree in the ocean................? God knows where we are. Our bodies die and return to the dust while our true selves sleep awaiting the resurrection.

If I don't live until resurrection day I would prefer to be buried. But I may not have control over that.
Even if they put your body in a grave of your choosing, you never know what might happen to the earth.
A nuclear problem or natural disaster can destroy dead bodies. It won't stop God from resurrecting the dead.
He has that unique ability as the one & only creator. He will raise us up as new creatures,
the elements of our physical bodies are only a seed. Even a burned fragment of a seed is enough for him.
I would say even a single molecule from a bone fragment would be enough for him. Failing that,
God has memory of you and matter from the remains of your ancestors or children with your DNA.
So yes, the cremated, drowned and even the vapourised will be resurrected.

Our bodies all become dust, so yes. Unless, you believe God is unable to do it.

Matthew 25:46 Unfortunately lake of fire is forever. What I am wondering is, Christians who were burned as Nero's garden torches. If God is unable to resurrect those who were cremated. Than he would not be able to resurrect those who have turned to dust. If this is the case, then all non-believers should be cremated to avoid the lake of fire.

We are literally killing the planet to honor our dead. And the irony of it all--
the sublime irony --is that the reason half of us go to funerals is to pay our
respects to people we couldn't be bothered with when they were alive.

allotted per person; which means that nobody is coming back from the lake
fire because they will use up their one allotted resurrection in order to face
justice at the Great White Throne event depicted at Rev 20:11-15.
Termination in the lake is not only the second death, but also the permanent
death.

I’ve wondered about the same question thanks for posing it.
I have thought a lot about it and came to my own conclusion that if someone is eaten by a wild animal and thier body is destroyed completely , or if someone dies in a volcanic eruption and destroyed by the molten lava I don’t think it will limit Gods ability to create a new body for them in the resurrection
it’s only my own thought however I searched a lot for scripture out exactly how we are to be buried and if it had any connection but never actually found anything clear or relevant to my wondering about it . I do know God created us from nothing from dust , so he’s able to create new things from nothing as well
I’ll follow to see if anyone has a clear answer because I’ve also wondered

Amen I don’t think cremating the natural body is going to eliminate the spiritual one that is the resurrection body
