Michael IS NOT God. Michal is a created being. Wanna guess WHO created him?

However, there is the Angel of the Lord in the Old Testament that was the Preincarnate Jesus Christ, who is the Son of God; the Lord God Almighty.
Can we discuss this from the scriptures?

Michael as God. That is an interesting Idea, but this is the first time I have heard of that. Some people think that Melchizedek is Jesus the Christ though. It is impossible to be dogmatic about much however. In my opinion, we find out that God is the Creator in the first chapter of Genesis. I think that it is likely that Michael is one of the Angels.
Welcome to the chat rooms Katia. Michael is just that, an angel and an arch angel at that. He is not God, and he is not the pre-incarnate Jesus Christ who is known in the Old Testament as "the angel of the Lord." Also, Melchizedek is not Jesus Christ as some believe. The reason that it is impossible for Michael the arc angel cannot be the angel of the Lord in the OT is based on infallible proof (in my opinion) at Genesis 22:11-18. At vs15, "Then the angel of the Lord called to Abraham a second time from heaven, vs16, AND SAID, "By Myself I have sworn declares the Lord, because you have done this thing and have not withheld your son, your only son, vs17, indeed I will greatly bless you and will greatly multiply your seed as the stars of the heavens, and as the sand which is on the seashore; and your seed shall possess the gate of their enemies."
Here's the interesting part taken from the book of Hebrews in the New Testament which refers to the above. Hebrews 6:13-16, "For when God made the promise to Abraham, since He could not swear by no one greater, HE SWORE BY HIMSELF, vs14, saying, I will surely bless you, and I will surely multiply you." In other words, Michael is not Jesus Christ or should I say the angel of the Lord in the OT because angels cannot swear oaths on behalf of God Himself. Does this make sense?

Don't care to discuss my private reasons for not respecting the NT after the Gospels. I think that Paul mucked it up and the Catholic Church did more. Martin Luther straightened it out somewhat. That early Christians were burning each other at the stake invalidates it a lot. Then in the early 1800s Joseph Smith really muddied the waters and then they added Polygamy. The Christian world is a real can of worms isn't it? Sometimes I'm more sympathetic to Islam than Christianity. If only they had not done the Hadeeths and Fatwas!
It is why I feel the valid approach is to exhaustively study the Bible; and the Quran if you wish. Or not. It is why I use Micah 6:8 as my guide. Belonging to God is really simple unless we allow satan to complicate it.

From Archeology, I suspicion that the visitors of the OT that Abram and others encountered could have been Angels, not God (S).

Well who are you to pass judgment on the NT and the Apostle Paul who Jesus Christ Himself personally picked to be an Apostle? Did Jesus "muck" it up in His choice? And yes, Christians were burning each other at the stake, that's one of the reasons we are all sinners and yes, even Christians continue to sin.

Just read Acts 20:27-31. And you have the nerve to say your "more sympathetic to Islam?" Look around you, and tell me what you see? Have you ever been a soldier or been in war, I have and it's absolutely "horrible." I don't know where you live but if you live in these United States you should be thankful to even wake up in the morning and kiss the earth you live on.
Yes, this world is an upholstered cesspool which is why Jesus came to take Christians away from this place to a new heaven and earth. I find it interesting that you quote Micah 6:8 where the prophet is simple reminding the people of the moral demands of the law that God imposed in the OT. If your living by that, or the Hadeeths and the Fatwas, the forma rulings on law you ain't going to make it. Lastly, tell me, what does Muhammad/Islam has to offer that is better than Jesus Christ?

Correct. But that is a very special designation for Christ. It has nothing to do with the archangel Michael.
