Of course it's all about the coffee and cannoli.
Coffee is down a bit this morning but I kinda thought that it would be.
But tomorrow it will recover nicely.
I was thinking about making some of what they call sausage balls this morning...
A type of quickbread that contains large amounts of sausage and cheese to the point that there's very little biscuit to them.

1# of breakfast sausage...if you try to use the ones in casings remove the casings.
2 cups of Bisquick (shortened preleavened flour)
1# of shredded cheese (I like sharp cheddar myself)
1/2 cup milk.
Mix it together with the paddle in your stand mixer...roll out pecan to walnut sized balls and place on parchment or something (silicon baking mat)
350° F for 20 minutes or until the sausage is cooked.
Variations have included such things as various other types of bulk sausage including Italian or spicy sausage. Chopped Green onion or chives and of course various types of cheese.
These are usually a breakfast type food but can be used as finger foods at a party...can use some parmesan/peppercorn dip with them as well (ranch dressing or blue cheese dressing)
