Christ died for everyone.
Those who BELIEVE are saved.

It does not matter what you post. What matters is the truth.
Christ tasted death for all He is the Captain of their Salvation. If they were not saved then He didn't taste death for them, simple as that.

That is a saved world. No unsaved in that world.

It's clear that Jesus's purpose in continuing to love his enemies was so they might have a relationship with him. Of course, people who do not really love their enemies can't see this.

Lk.13:6-9 is a good example of propitiation.

For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved Jn.3:17
Saved=deliverance according to Greek interpretation. There is a deliverance, here in this world, to the new born babe in Christ when he matures enough to come unto a knowledge of the truth.

It means that. That world God has been propitiated for, therefore saved from His wrath, thats salvation 1 Thess 5:9

9 For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,

The word ' salvation ' is not limited to regeneration. its also used for glorification. 1 thes 5.9 being the latter. A believer is not appointed to wrath ( to go through the tribulation) but to recieve the redemption of the body .

If the world hates you, you know that it hated Me before it hated you. Jn.15:18

Christs death produces saving results in that by it the Children of God/Sheep/Church is gathered unto God Jn 11:50-52

50 Nor consider that it is expedient for us, that one man should die for the people, and that the whole nation perish not.

51 And this spake he not of himself: but being high priest that year, he prophesied that Jesus should die for that nation;

52 And not for that nation only, but that[in order that] also he should gather together in one the children of God that were scattered abroad.

Clearly the purpose of His dying for that nation [jews] but not them only[gentiles] was for the gathering of them together to form them into One People unto God. This is also expressed earlier in John here Jn 10:16

15 As the Father knoweth me, even so know I the Father: and I lay down my life for the sheep.

16 And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd.

The word bring here serves the same purpose as the word gather in Jn 11:52.

The word gather means συνάγω:

to lead together, bring together, come together (pass.), entertain
Usage: I gather together, collect, assemble, receive with hospitality, entertain.

to join together, join in one (those previously separated):

This speaks to the jews and gentiles being once separated, now being brought together by the death of Christ Eph 2:11-19

11 Wherefore remember, that ye being in time past Gentiles in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by that which is called the Circumcision in the flesh made by hands;

12 That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world:

13 But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.

14 For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us;

15 Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace;

16 And that he might reconcile both unto God in one body by the cross, having slain the enmity thereby:

17 And came and preached peace to you which were afar off, and to them that were nigh.

18 For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father.

19 Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God;​

This gathering was prophesied in the OT here Gen 49:9-10

9 Judah is a lion's whelp: from the prey, my son, thou art gone up: he stooped down, he couched as a lion, and as an old lion; who shall rouse him up?

10 The sceptre shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet, until Shiloh come; and unto him shall the gathering of the people be.

Christ is Shiloh. This is probably what Caiaphas the high priest was moved to utter about Jn 11:49ff

The word for gathering in Gen 49:10 is the word yᵊqāhâ:69

obedience, cleansing, purging,; obedience:—gathering, to obey.

The Death of Christ was designed to bring together the people of God from among all nations to the obedience of the Faith, under One Head.

It is a heresy and false teaching if Christ's death alone does not guarantee a saving result for them He died for ! This applies to those who also teach that Christ died in some non redemptive way for the non elect ! That is, God had subordinate purposes to redemption, which Christs death did not ensure a saving, converting result !

Our Lord draws people to himself when they realize the love and forgiveness he displayed toward sinners, even while he was being shamefully and sinfully treated by them. This is the gospel,

But love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest: for he is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil. Lk.6:35

His love and kindness went beyond what I know, but I'm learning.

The positive effect of Christ dying, giving of Himself, or offering of Himself for those He did for, is actual absolute redemption from all iniquity Titus 2:14

14 Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.

The word that, the conjunction hina which means:

in order that, so that, in order that (denoting the purpose or the result

So His giving of Himself produces redemptive results, which God purposed, one such result was redeem them from all iniquity, that's Salvation right there !

This was promised in the OT
Ps 130:8

And he shall redeem Israel from all his iniquities. The Israel here is not physical national israel, its Spiritual Israel the Church as seen in Titus 2:14

In other words the promise of Ps 130:8 found its fulfillment in Christ and the Church, and so its a sure result of Christ redeeming death !

The Scriptures declare of the objective and outcome of Christ’s death, in the most outright and positive terms: "When enemies, we were reconciled to God, by the death of his Son, and shall much more be saved by his life," Romans 5:10. "He died for us, that we should live together with him," 1 Thess. 5: 10. "God hath appointed us to obtain salvation by Jesus Christ,"

His death effects that we shall be saved by His Life [conversion] and that we shall live together with Him and obtain Salvation.

If we dont believe this, we certainly sell the effects of His death short, to our shame !

The religion of man doesn't believe that the death of Christ alone results in the Eternal Salvation of all for whom Christ died, namely His Sheep Jn 10:11,15 or His Church Eph 5:25, or His People Matt 1:21.

His death for His people produces saving results Jn 12:32-33 23,24

32 And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me. 33 This he said, signifying what death he should die.

23 And Jesus answered them, saying, The hour is come, that the Son of man should be glorified. 24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit.
the death of Jesus was the payment for sin His Resurrection is witness to Eternal Life

In Genesis 1:2 we see that something happened to cause the earth to be in darkness and covered with water. Whatever happened is much discussed and not the subject here. But what is pertinent is that God cannot indefinitely suffer chaos. He is a God of order and a God of Restoration. You have given some good points above, but there are some more.
  1. Our Lord Jesus died for the "sin" of the whole world (Jn.1:29). "Sin" (singular) is the serpentine nature that Adam was corrupted with and which he passed on to all other men (Rom.5:12), except Jesus. The "wages" of "sin" (singular) is death (Rom.5:17, 23). The death of Jesus allows god, judicially, to RESURRECT ALL MEN (whether saved or lost - 1st Cor.15:22)
  2. Our Lord Jesus died for the "Sins" (plural) of the whole world (1st Jn.2:2). This gives God the judicial right to extend mercy to anyone He likes. It is on this basis that Israel can be forgiven and restored to their Land. This does not mean that the guilty will escape - as the Lake of Fire testifies of.
  3. Our Lord Jesus' blood "speaks better things than that of Abel" (Heb.12:24). Abel's blood cries for justice, so God cursed the earth. Because Jesus' blood covers all sin and sins, God has the jucial right to restore the earth. This is partly applied in the Millennium, and fully applied in making the heavens and earth NEW in Revelation 21 and 22.
  4. Three of the five main Offerings, the Burnt Offering, the Meal Offering and the Peace Offering do not deal with sin and sins. They deal with man's lack in his relationship to his Maker - Jehovah. Our Lord Jesus fulfilled them all and satisfied God for men (this needs a book to explain)
  5. Every Covenant between God and man must be RATIFIED by blood because of sin and sins. The New Covenant, which will be made with Israel (in that day) when they are united and one Nation again (Jer.31:31-33; Ezek.37), was ratified by Christ's blood. That is why it is called, not only blood for the remission of sins, but "blood of the New Covenant".
What a wonderful study you have made. But I don't think we are told that "something happened" that the earth was in darkness. It seems to me that was the state of the earth before God began Him creation of making the earth for the humans He created.

The first day of creation God gave light to this darkness. That light was called owr in Hebrew, and it was the light of all goodness. It wasn't until the fourth day that God created what in Hebrew means the source of light.

As soon as Adam and Eve brought death through sin to man, God gave blood on the altar for the forgiveness of sin. This was carried out through the sacrificial system until Christ made it a reality. God hated blood sacrificed to to feed God as the pagans did, it was only blood for the forgiveness of sin that God accepted

Lev. 17:11 “For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul.”
