The Catholics rejected this until somewhere around 1960 or something... now they tell their congregation to go to the orthodox for deification teachings...

The protestants carried over the Catholic stance on this but solar scriptura means they are oblivious to such things as the authors actual intent in engaging the movement

Sorry, you are again broad brush condemning.....................and your interpretation of Scripture needs a whole lot of work methinks

Acts, Chapter 4:

32And the multitude of them that believed were of one heart and of one soul: neither said any of them that ought of the things which he possessed was his own; but they had all things common.
33And with great power gave the apostles witness of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus: and great grace was upon them all.
34Neither was there any among them that lacked: for as many as were possessors of lands or houses sold them, and brought the prices of the things that were sold,
35And laid them down at the apostles' feet: and distribution was made unto every man according as he had need.

Is not Scoialism. It is agape love. Socialism is a form of Government that has a Dominant Ruling Class that hoards all the wealth while only giving crumbs to the people. IF you believe that Christianity and/or Agape Love is Socialism, then IMO, you are in dire need of a "come to Jesus" moment, and serious instruction from the Holy Spirit.

The Orthodox are the ones who spoke the language of the gospels natively...

The Catholics used Latin versions so there are flaws...

The Protestants start with a German and translate to English and others... again, not native speakers...

So I take the Orthodox as the truest Church, those who understand best.

I am not Orthodox though, I do not engage rituals or other ceremonies...
