Good and evil from the tree of knowledge was Choices without considering God.

You can't have direct proof, that would ruin your choice to believe. God doesn't force His Will ..you have to choose it.

Choose to know good and evil that includes GOD in the choice.

He told them that tree would cause death.

death is leaving God out of your choices.

it was temptation to leave God out of their lives.

the tree of knowledge is a literal tree (tree chart) of choices using man's knowledge without involving God.

I'm done with atheists saying Adam and Eve couldn't make an informed choice.
They knew what good and evil was ..it was about which brand they were going to use ..God or beast.

The first sin is the first choice in the dead tree chart of choices. It caused corrupted flesh for mankind. Adam handed the keys of death over to satan when choosing it. Christ had victory over death and won them back for us.

You only need to choose Life once to branch off into the Tree Chart of Life.

Adam and Eve did not know good and evil. That's stated clearly. What they did have was a clear instruction and the consequences of disobedience. Adam knew what he was doing. He knew it was contrary to God's command. He knew the consequences. How informed does an intelligent person need to be? Adam was no fool. He named all the animals. That's around 16,000 species. The root of all sin is disobedience. That sums up the human race in one word.

"good and evil" is the same thing as saying "choices", you choose between good and bad.

eating evil fruit is making the bad choice, but any choice from that tree is death.

In my opinion, we find the problem of Adam and Eve in the fact that they were not led by anyone or anything, certainly not the Indwelling Spirit. It was their Human Nature that caught them up to stumble. Why? The definition of Human Nature is "Servant." This means that at our "core," we are servants. Therefore, when Satan came along and gave Eve her unholy instruction, her isolated Human Nature did what it was designed to do . . . serve. And since Satan was giving the orders, Eve said, "Okay. Sure . . . I'll eat." -" Then, "Hey, Honey! Eat this!" Eve knew it was wrong, but then Adam into deception . . . as if a female Jeroboam.

The moment that they sinned, Satan became their Spiritual Father. The Cure to this problem is to eat from the Tree of Life, but the Tree was blocked so as to establish that the majority of humans would need to wait for Christ to receive His widespread issuance of the Spirit. And thus when Jesus Spiritually Circumcises the Heart of this Evil Sin Nature, that Sin Nature is replaced by the Divine Nature.

When you add the Human Nature with the Divine Nature, you have the Human Nature, by its design, serving the Divine Nature. And when the Human Nature servers the Divine Nature, that is the moment that [that] person has escaped corruption.

2 Peter 1:4 NLT - "And because of his glory and excellence, he has given us great and precious promises. These are the promises that enable you to share his divine nature and escape the world's corruption caused by human desires."

sin, literally, is not compatible with infinity. sin is finite, about yourself. God is trying to give us The Way to be compatible with Righteousness.

Your conscience gets Flamed with Righteousness and can't Choose God after physical death.

Righteousness is God's Love and Compatibility with Everlasting Life.

You don't find accurate science in the Bible because that would have created direct proof. God gave prophets the visions they needed to see. Literarily EVERYTHING in this reality is set to give you an excuse if you want it.
Direct proof ends your Free Will Choice to Choose God's Will.

ALL I REALLY NEED TO KNOW I LEARNED IN KINDERGARTEN

All I really need to know about how to live and what to do and how to be I learned in kindergarten. Wisdom was not at the top of the graduate school mountain, but there in my classroom at school. These are the things that I learned.






Share everything.

Play fair.

Don't hit people.

Put things back where you found them.

Clean up your own mess.

Don't take things that aren't yours.

Say you're sorry when you hurt somebody.

Wash your hands before you eat.

Flush.

Warm cookies and cold milk are good for you.

Live a balanced life- learn some and think some and draw and paint and sing and dance and work everyday some.

Take a nap every afternoon. (as a college student I stress this one)

When you go out into the world watch out for traffic, hold hands, and stick together.

Be aware of wonder.

Remember the little seed in the styrofoam cup. The roots go down and the plant goes up and nobody really knows how or why but we are all like that.

Goldfish and hamsters and white mice and even the little seed in the styrofoam cup - they all die. So do we.

Remember to look around you.

Everything you need to know is in there somewhere. The Golden Rule and love and basic sanitation. Ecology and politics and equality and sane living.

Take any of those items and extrapolate it into sophistical adult terms and apply it to your family life or your work or your government or your world and it holds true and clear and firm. Think what a better world it would be if all- the whole world- had cookies and milk about three o'clock every afternoon and then lay down with our blankies for a nap. Or if all government had a basic policy to always put things back where they found them and to clean up their own mess.

And it is all still true, no matter how old you are - when you go out into the world, it is best to hold hands and stick together.

Therefore, all I really need to know about Jesus, to walk the walk He has called me to walk, I learned in Sunday School. Here are just a few of the things I remember being told in Sunday School, and believing:

-Jesus loves me, this I know, for the Bible tells me so.

-God is always with me (the Holy Spirit)

-Jesus saves

-Jesus heals

-Jesus sets people free

-Jesus performed the miraculous

-Jesus is the answer to every question

-Jesus told us to love others like He loved them

Now, why is it that I need explanations, scriptures, examples of proof, and then time to pray to believe?


All I really need to know I learned in Sunday School ...

Our corrupt flesh is all linked to the tree of knowledge because of Adam. It involves your choices in this fallen condition.

We "choose" because the Lord gives us new Hearts and Spirits to choose. Until God performs this Holy Circumcision of the Old Sin Nature, the capacity to "choose" does not exist. Below, notice the words, "cause you." These two words explain the purpose of the New Heart and Spirit . . . they are "so that" we will obey.

Ezekiel 36:25-27 KJV - Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you. 26 A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh. 27 And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them."

These three verses show the results of the new Heart and Spirit . . . it is the Caused ability to obey the Lord. This is the Work of God and not the work of man.

I'm finding this interesting because it is getting into how people really think. Am I right in noticing that the choice between good and evil is the same in both the Adam and Jesus trees, but the former is chosen by the person alone, while the later is chosen in consultation with the wonderful counselor, the Lord Jesus Christ? Or are the tree node choices also different as well?

I like "consultation with the wonderful counselor ".

The difference is that the good and evil of the tree of knowledge has "good" intentions ..like caring about nature ..instead of God.

I've been praying about this, but it isn't fitting together for me. The "good" intentions like caring about nature really seem like someone practicing "love your neighbor as your self", and not at all of the mind of lawlessness that we know from scripture to be inherent in fallen man. Would you by chance be able to detail your thoughts on the matter a bit further to help clarify my muddled understanding?

It's nearly impossible to imagine that the influence of Satan ever had good intentions. I don't think you need to pray too hard about this one.
