why would you send them away and not help them come to the saving knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ That day?

The bible teaches in 1cor chapter 11:17-34

You lead them to Christ so they are worthy to partake. IF you are following the word of God everyone is to do what before eating AND DRINKING?

28 Everyone ought to examine themselves before they eat of the bread and drink from the cup. 29 For those who eat and drink without discerning the body of Christ eat and drink judgment on themselves.

You lead them to examine themselves and accept Jesus as Lord NOT send them away without the opportunity to receive Christ.

Stop looking for membership and start Giving the Jesus! I am not RCC nor Protestant.
Are you aware that there are multiple denominations of Lutherans that won’t let you take communion in their churches unless you’re part of their faith? They don’t want the homosexuals and other grave sinners from their renegade congregations or elsewhere profaning the body of Christ. I don’t blame them.

Every single Eastern Orthodox Church won’t allow a Catholic or anyone else to take communion in their Church. And Catholics actually believe it really is the body and blood. They actually forbid any member of their church from receiving it from other non-Eastern Orthodox Churchs.

It’s not just a Catholic thing, it’s a sacrament. It’s taken very seriously.

if it were so, think about it for just one moment. The real body and blood of Jesus who is currently and for eternity alive.

it was Jesus himself who said "do this in remembrance of me " not when you do this it will BECOME ME.
He never called it a symbol. He was telling the apostles to do what he just did in front of them. It was the institution of the mass. This is my blood, this is my flesh. John Ch 6 is even more explicit. Saying “truly” “indeed”.

" We want to make sure you don't partake in Communion "because you are a sinner". Wow! imagine sinners coming to Jesus in a church service. Listen guy you are wrong! anyone who has repented and self-examined and called on the Lord for forgiveness

I'm sorry you do not know the context of Christ's words when HE said

"DO this in remembrance of ME". you have to read the word of God guy.

I did, Jesus is giving instructions to the apostles not calling the bread or wine a symbol. He said it IS. How in the world someone could read that and John Ch 6 and come to any other conclusion he means what he says is beyond comprehension.

ST. JUSTIN MARTYR
We call this food Eucharist, and no one else is permitted to partake of it, except one who believes our teaching to be true and who has been washed in the washing that is for the remission of sins and for regeneration [i.e., has received baptism] and is thereby living as Christ enjoined. For not as common bread nor common drink do we receive these; but since Jesus Christ our Savior was made incarnate by the word of God and had both flesh and blood for our salvation, so too, as we have been taught, the food that has been made into the Eucharist by the eucharistic prayer set down by him, and by the change of which our blood and flesh is nurtured, is both the flesh and the blood of that incarnated Jesus [First Apology 66 (c. A.D. 151)].

you are foolish the point is in a church service you make it known to all before they receive it do you know all sin those do? If the person is told the word of god and given the understanding of what they are doing if they eat this "Unworthy " That is on them. And it is not just the Homosexual, it is the PREIST who is sexually abusing children, it is the drunkard, the fornicator, adulterous, and the liar.

I have sat through many Mass and yet to see a Priest NOT place in the hand of those who go up the wafer and give a drink of the wine.

YOu are being hypocritical.

FYI Never heard of HIM and HE is not authoritative over the word of God guy. Just read Matthew Mark, Luke, and John re the Pauline Epistles Ok, if all of them and the Lord Jesus Christ do not support Mr. Justin's teaching he is false or in error.

Lol of course you would think you know better than early Christians. Here’s the leader of a New Testament church that lived in the apostolic age:

ST. IGNATIUS OF ANTIOCH
Take note of those who hold heterodox opinions on the grace of Jesus Christ, which have come to us, and see how contrary their opinions are to the mind of God. . . . They abstain from the Eucharist and from prayer because they do not confess that the Eucharist is the flesh of our Savior Jesus Christ, flesh that suffered for our sins and that the Father, in his goodness, raised up again. They who deny the gift of God are perishing in their disputes [Letter to the Smyrnaeans 6–7 (c. A.D. 110)].

The early church that catholics love to point toward has been so perverted over the centuries that what truth remains is hidden beneath the religion they call tradition. They love to say protestants only know what our preachers say about the catholic church. I guess those of us that actually do read church history dont count. Post something directly from the catechism and we just dont understand it.

That is certainly a reasonable way of looking at it. But is does say "This is my body" So I don't think it's the only way of looking at it.

Do you think Jesus was referring to His actual flesh in John 6? Or was it allegorical? Why did so many of His disciples fall away at that point if it wasn't literal? If He meant it literally then, then I think there is a chance that it could be literal now. If it wasn't literal then, then I'd say that there's basically no chance that it's literal now.

I have sat through many Mass and yet to see a Priest NOT place in the hand of those who go up the wafer and give a drink of the wine.
Interesting. I have only seen the priest put it directly in the mouth of the people. I would think that in the hand is a fail.

no not at all I just know better to place an early church father over the Four Gospels and the Epistles and the Teaching of the Lord Jesus Christ. You have elevated those men above the word of God.

Jesus said to do this in remembrance of ME. If I do what Jesus said I am doing what Jesus said who is the supreme Authority when ever HE is speaking, do you agree that Jesus is supreme in Authority whenever HE is speaking?

You can believe whatever you want to believe, those men are infinitely more credible than you and your interpretations. One of them was a martyr for Christ and lived near the Apostle John. I’ll stick with what Jesus actually said in the Bible, what early Christianity attests to, and what Christ’s Church teaches.

anyone who holds that outside of the bible more authoritative than those who are in the Word of God I will not listen to. You are discrediting these men. You should seek out an RCC site guy why are you not there it so dead there? Or are you trying to promote the fast-shrinking RCC?

I have read the word of God, and my interpretation just so happens to coincide the those men I quoted.

The Holy Spirit along with the word of God leads a person into all truth. The "church fathers" had opinions no different than any other human being. The problem is when people accept their opinions over the inspired word of God. Jesus said that the words He spoke will be what every single person will be judged by in the end. He is the final authority not the words of a worldly pope or Ignatius or Martyr.

Believe it or not, it is actually possible to read the Bible and agree with what the early Church fathers believed. I believe what they believe not because they believed it. I saw the truth of what they believed in scripture for myself. It’s really arrogant the way many of you talk about the Bible, as if no one could possibly come to a different conclusion than you do.
