I tried to explain it from an FE POV - he developed "an attitude" - I gave up

I have nothing against you - and, I am not trying to "attack your character" - I was only expressing my perception of what occurred.See this response @surfer14
Ad hominem fallacy... An attack on someone's character in order to avoid the issue...
Gary was simply unable to give an explanation without misinformation...
This attack is uncalled for and unfounded...
I was never rude to the brother Garry, never used foul language, never ridiculed him and certainly never attacked his character.
In fact, i was very patient with Garry, i gave him plenty of time to answer the question, over a month,
i went out of my way to draw diagrams, i even watched his 20 minute video...
After all that im a bit disappointed. But hey, water off a ducks back to me...
No hard feelings... Resentment rips apart our spirit and soul mate, it needs to be purged
Iv engaged Moses and Tim without any tears... None of us have any hard feelings.
In fact, Moses even gave me an informative badge and thumbs up.
So in the end the attack on my character is cheap and is simply a distraction from the facts...
Regardless of my attitude, or Garry's false perception of it, the facts still remain...
And the fact is that FE can't explain this

~ explanation(s) - which is/are a direct answer to your question(s).I regret that you [seem to] have an attitude that wishes to dispute the ideas of others while not being willing to listen to their explanation.
I have nothing against you - and, I am not trying to "attack your character" - I was only expressing my perception of what occurred.
You were rude to me by virtue of the fact that - once you felt that you "had your answer" - you totally disregarded me as one who you decided did not deserve for you to "return the favor" - to help me get the information that I was looking for and asked that you might help me out.
You [in effect] said 'Oh, thanks' and then blew me off...
I gave you no "misinformation" - you refused to interpret it properly from a FE POV.
I tried to explain it from an FE POV - and you would not "listen" - long enough to try to understand the FE POV.
So - I stand behind my statement.
I regret that you [seem to] have an attitude that wishes to dispute the ideas of others while not being willing to listen to their explanation.

Do u agree that if we are facing crux we are facing south?
We're not talking about flat heavens. We're talking about flat Earth. There's a difference.Pick your heavenly body (sun, moon, stars, planet, etc). Face the north. Track that body as it crosses the sky on any given day. Compare the path to the path of the body as predicted by FE. The path clearly shows a spherical earth.

Yes. I think when you face the crux you are indeed facing south. Just like when you're facing Polaris you're facing north. Regardless of time of day, season, location, etc. I think the most likely explanation for this is that we're on a rotating ball.
@GaryA and one other person convinced me to really give the FE theory a fair shot. And I have. But I really don't see any reasonable explanation for the crux problem with a FE.
Or just keep moving in any direction until you get there. How big is your imaginary flat earth anyway? It can't be flat. If it was, cats would have pushed everything over the edge by now.Obviously you would have to get to the point where the crux is pointing north to find the edge.

Im surprised that he has these hard feelings...
I thought Texans were tough cowboy types, like the typical Aussie is, not one to run away, cry and point fingers...
Gary is so bitter now he won't even speak to me... He won't answer one simple question
I try to go "have a life" IRL on a national holiday - and, this is what I get...I was 100% right about him not being able to handle the truth
He got upset when i corrected him on these false claims. Starts crying cos i hurt his feelings...
Facts don't care about feelings... The truth can hurt, especially when you've been entrenched in such a false dogma for so long...

You are only facing south at noon or midnight, when you face the crux. At other times when you face crux, it points to the south.@Timtofly
In the early evening i see the crux around this position.

At the same time in South America its before sunrise...
They are seeing the crux like this, upside down

But regardless of its orientation we are both facing south, at crux, in opposite directions

The physics of the way it points would mean if it is upside down you are literally facing north. It is not pointing below you, but above you. It is only an optical allusion that the crux is pointing south. If you are looking at the crux, you are not always with your back to the North, it just seems that way.
It is also an optical allusion that it does not rise and set. Since it can only be vertical at 12, when it is not vertical you are not looking straight south. You are facing towards the east or west and have to follow the angle it is pointing to look south. Put up an example where you see the crux at 3pm and they see it at 9pm. Now you and Brazil are looking at each other. South would be to your left, and to their right. You would be facing Brazil to the North. They would be facing you to the north. South would still be the edge.
