"My cat died last Thursday, my dog's got the mange. My old lady's into cowboys and singing Home on the Range." But I don't care a teeny bit about all of that, 'cause I got a 6 Pack on ice, and I'm sitting on my tractor wearing my Red Man hat........."

Phil is laughing...but I'm serious...I guess that's the funniest part of all...

When "Table Topper" became famous I was appalled...I met the woman who wrote it. Her next song was "grandpa please recognize me today" and there weren't any takers for that piece of trash.

Lots of good music out there...so little of it promoted. So much of it bound up in legal nightmares that no one wants them.

Phil Vassar used to sing in local clubs around here...I didn't know that he made it big time until the wife told me so...he used to be really popular with the yuppie crowd by singing Billy Joel music a lot...then I discovered that he's a country music star and was wondering what it was that he sung because he doesn't really write music...

There’s one country music singer that really knew how to make people feel that he was singing about them and their lives.

“There’s a tear in my beer cause I’m crying for you dear, you are on my lonely mind...”

Think it went something like that, and when hearing that song it’s like he is actually thinking about me😀. It goes straight to the heart.

And his gospel country music? Old Country Church, I Saw The Light, When God Dips His Love In My Heart and etc.

I reckon all y’all, leastways from the South, are familiar with whom I’m thinking about.

Donuts are "out of order" for a little while and have been replaced by cup cakes. I am amazed at the level of decorations and imaginations people have in decorating these things. First to be served are chocolate/strawberry ones
