No. Not wrath. I think simply that as long as Israel tries to understand scripture without the Holy Spirit,
they dig a big hole for themselves.
I may be completely wrong, so please correct me, but it seems to me that Israel is taking the promise in the sense that it can colonize/invade all the land it was not given in 1948, the end goal being the ownership of the original land of the fathers.
