have a closer look at Judges 13
The Angel of the LORD announces the birth of Samson -- and they say, "we have seen God"
who is this?
His name is called Wonderful, and He ascends to heaven before their eyes - compare John 3:13.
who is this?
It's all in the way it is written or what the writer understands or doesn't understand. Notice Daniel never calls Jesus the Angel of the Lord like he does Micheal and Gabriel, he calls him the Man in Linen, letting us know he thought he was far different from the other messengers, however, Jesus was delivering a message, and thus, if YAHWEH or Jehova is used then Jesus, could be a messenger of God the Father, but he would never be an Angel of the Lord because he is the Lord.
But, David said the Lord said unto my LORD saying that there were two Lords, one was Jesus and one was the Father. But Jesus can never simply be an Angel (Messanger of God) he has to be a Messanger AND the Lord.
This is why it gets s confusing, Angel simply means Messenger, but Jesus is more than a mere messenger, he's also The Lord. Thus if a text says he's the Messanger of Yahweh, then he is that but he is also the Lord. Whereas Angels are only Messengers of God and underlings, Jesus is the Lord.
