There are 2 verses in Acts that says clearly that people "refused to believe". That clearly indicates a choice.

And there are 3 verses in Revelation that says "they refused to repent", again a choice.

But calvinists don't like the idea of choice. I think it scares them. But I could be wrong.

calvinism is just clever philosophical reasons for why the bible is not true. Post hoc rationalization bingo ! lol

We are totally unable to save ourself

We are totally able with the help of God to chose to recieve, rather than continue in rejection.

For as many as have RECEIVED him to THEM he gave the power to become children of God. Even to those who believe on his name.

No I have a verse which says God is pleased to save those that believe.
1 cor 1 .21 .
I have another verse that says we're saved after we believe and after we trusted. Clear verse . Are you ready to read it and believe it ? let's see ..
Brace yourself ,this is difficult I know .
13¶In whom ye also trusted , after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also AFTER that ye BELIEVED, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,
Heres my verse that SAYS what I believe.. literally SAYS . Do you see the point . Notice you don't have such a verse that SAYS what you believe.

God is pleased to save them that believe. That just cant be the unregenerate since they cant believe because they cant please God. Also their mind is enmity against God Rom 8:7-8

Thank you Jesus for making it available to all through Your shed blood. The key is to understand that it is available to all. Whosoever will may come. There is no special Calvinist few who were born with silver spoons in their mouths. We must speak the Truth. I am sorry if you grandfathers told you lies.

Seems to me some do have favor and I am believing it is because He knows the end from the beginning and knows who will be lauded in and for eternity.

God is pleased to save them that believe. Yes why not believe this ?Do you see what you do when you come across a verse that literally says God is pleased when somenone believes . You don't believe it . Not because there's a verse that says a person cannot believe. Yes this would be a cause to re think 1 cor 1.21 . But no verse says to the contrary . Not infers, not implies , not assumes. BUT SAYS !! You instead believe your system over the scripture . ( Classic Calvinism) You go to verses that don't actually say man cannot believe. Instead your saying " I know the bible SAYS such and such but ...."
This is the opposite of sound bible reading. This is my contention against reformed theology . Its worst theology within christianity because of this terrible approach to scripture . Literally the worst above any other denomination / ism that you could care to name . Certain pentacostal theological ways of interpreting scripture actually put Calvinism to shame .

Only in the sense of the same things you and every human that comes into the world receives . Saved or unsaved in the end .
