Posted the scripture many times, a pastor is to be the husband of one wife, ... simple.
Though you have supposedly posted the Scripture many times, you haven't read it. It says that an ELDER (or deacon) is to be the husband of one wife. It says nothing whatsoever about "pastors".

Angel's appear in the masculine,the 12 apostles were men chosen by Jesus, it's a guy thing, sorry :)
Also wrong. You're making doctrine from narrative, which is always a bad idea.

Also, do most churches still require women to wear a head covering and what is the purpose of that if anyone knows?
No, most churches do not have that requirement, because they understand that is not what Scripture is teaching.

As an aside, having given Bible studies where men were present (I didn't ask them to be there. They appreciated my teaching) I can honestly state I prefer teaching women as some men believe the reason for their presence, is to correct the women.

Get over yourselves dudes!

That sounds quite arrogant. It is like saying, "I will not soil myself by discussing my exalted understanding with unspiritual louts like you". I sincerely hope that is not what you're saying.

The purpose of this forum is to discuss the Bible and the Christian life. While arguments are common, they are an unfortunate reality when dealing with truth. When you call something "sacred", you are saying that you are unwilling to discuss it. That's fine, but it's not reasonable to make comments about it while refusing to answer questions. Either discuss it, or don't; otherwise you're being inconsistent, and that just reflects poorly on you.

Your claim is (False)

A Pastor/Bishop Is to be the husband of one wife, and the deacon also.

Yes a Bishop is the Pastor/Overseer, the person responsible for the church.

You can roll on the floor, kick, and scream all you want, not gonna change Gods words before your eyes.

1 Timothy 3:1-13KJV
1 This is a true saying, if a man desire the office of a bishop, he desireth a good work.
2 A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behaviour, given to hospitality, apt to teach;
3 Not given to wine, no striker, not greedy of filthy lucre; but patient, not a brawler, not covetous;
4 One that ruleth well his own house, having his children in subjection with all gravity;
5 (For if a man know not how to rule his own house, how shall he take care of the church of God?)
6 Not a novice, lest being lifted up with pride he fall into the condemnation of the devil.
7 Moreover he must have a good report of them which are without; lest he fall into reproach and the snare of the devil.
8 Likewise must the deacons be grave, not doubletongued, not given to much wine, not greedy of filthy lucre;
9 Holding the mystery of the faith in a pure conscience.
10 And let these also first be proved; then let them use the office of a deacon, being found blameless.
11 Even so must their wives be grave, not slanderers, sober, faithful in all things.
12 Let the deacons be the husbands of one wife, ruling their children and their own houses well.
13 For they that have used the office of a deacon well purchase to themselves a good degree, and great boldness in the faith which is in Christ Jesus.

Your inability to read the plain text of Scripture is hindering your understanding.

The word, "pastor" does not appear in that passage... anywhere. You're the one changing God's word...

And you still don't know how to use brackets.

Eve as the first woman transmits all her characteristics ( including being fooled) to all women.
Adam as the first man transmits all his characteristics (including willfully disobeying God) to all men.

oh dear,
this thread appears to becoming more carnally minded than Spiritual...
ROMANS 8:6.
For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is (life and peace).

More on this:

So men are never deceived? The answer should be obvious. And, this has come up before...

You know, with men pretending men are never deceived, as if all were true believers all along :oops:

Also, it was Adam who was held responsible, and it is his sin that is passed down/transmitted ;)

The new testament gives advice to slaves on how they should behave because slavery was an accepted custom. It doesn't mean that the Bible advocates slavery. The custom of the time saw women as second class citizens and the advice given concerning them does not mean that the Bible advocates treating women as second hand citizens. If a woman gets in front of a congregation and starts spewing out truths concerning the gospel and is filled with love for her brothers and sisters in Christ, how can anyone argue with what she has done? The first will be last and the last will be first when there is a tie and that means that everyone is treated equally. The apostles and those who have died for their faith deservedly will have a higher station in the kingdom of heaven. Women just like men will be judged the same way. We need to repent, trust in Jesus' death for the forgiveness of sins, and be filled with the Holy Spirit which fills our hearts with love.

HI,

In my opinion, the bible says clearly that woman can't teach in the congregation. Why almost all of the denominations allow the woman to teach? And I think it's not the problem in the denominations only but in the home meetings as well.

King James version:

1. Tim. 2:12
But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence.

1. Kor. 14:34
Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience, as also saith the law.

1. Kor. 14:35
And if they will learn any thing, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is a shame for women to speak in the church.

Ps. I don't belong to any denomination as the bible clearly says that there is only one congregation in every city. There were no names for congregations with early Christians.
This is the truth....
