It's a good thing English doesn't use language gender as well isn't it?
What would this generation do with that?

German for example, has 3 definite articles. Masculine/feminine & neuter.
And you have to know the gender of every noun.

Apples are masculine :)

Technically, no, English doesn’t. Many other languages do, however, such as most Latin American languages. So, this generation, does what to do with it, it’s just not used in English.

As for the apple debate, I am not a horticulturist, so I’m just going to stick with “an” and “the” for now

Maybe this will help: let’s say you and a friend are at a restaurant. You both have finished eating and the bill comes, and its expensive. Your friend says they’ll pay for the meal. You now have a choice: you pay or your friend pays for both meal. By refusing to believe(or accept) that Jesus took our sins, we’re paying the bill. He wants to pay and will, but we have to choose.
We also have to choose to believe his word about repentance and salvation matters of the kingdom

Agreed, usually it’s ”an” or “the” but the apple can reproduce due to the seeds, so technically, yes, an apple could be “she”
and a biological male can plant seeds THEREFORE is a "HE"
while a biological female reproduces and births the fruit of those seeds..... therefore is a "SHE"

I have seeds also. Maybe I am a 'She'? Eureka! I finally get it!!!:D
oh dang! i think you beat me to it
great minds oystey!

Yes we decide to trust and believe the Gospel ..But no one can PAY for their sins in hell ,because Jesus has already paid them.

My apologies, it is a flawed analogy. Yes, He has paid, but we can refuse to to accept that He paid, and try to pay it ourselves. There is no need, of course. God gives us a choice, because He gave humans free will. He wants us to choose for ourselves what we will do

No need to apologise. All analogies break down at some point . But they are useful to try explain what we mean, sometimes. I agree that we can refuse the free gift of salvation . Reject the one that has died for our sins , reject that message, the gospel . And yes some are trying to work thier way to heaven. Which is a rejection of the free gift . People go to hell because the only ' way ' there is through glorification. If a person does not recieve Jesus then they will not be glorified.

To add . Once we are in Christ ( and this is hard for some to accept ) We cannot be lost. We cannot jump out of Christ , we cannot' walk away ' ,what ever than means. We cannot undo our spiritual change as believers . And Praise God for this . Eph 1.13 .

I will never be able to fully understand why anyone would want to change their pronouns because it just seems so confusing. But in my mind, I think it is much more Christian to use traditional gender pronouns simply because Genesis makes is extremely clear that God created two different genders for a reason and intended for them to have their own significance on earth. I think gender is one of your most basic defining traits as a person (and Christian), so we should respect that. Pronouns are just a basic way of doing that: showing a distinction between genders. I think we can have equal rights in society and still fulfill our gender-specific roles as Christians. We don't need to change pronouns for that.

This is true, you can’t have one without the other
indeed the apostle Paul has a teaching about this it’s conclusion or at least what I feel and took most from it

“Nevertheless, neither is the woman without the man, nor the man without the woman, in the Lord.

For as the woman is of the man, so is the man also by the woman;

but all things are of God.”
‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭11:11-12‬ ‭ASV‬‬

I look at it as mankind is made of
Male and female. Eve was created from adams flesh , but then Seth a male in Gods line of people was born of Eve. Both are equally made in Gods image through faith in Christ , but each also are necessary for the other to be complete and even to exist ,

speaking of mankind as a whole the male have thoer role in the design and female thier role both are incredibly essential to mankind’s existence and the condition of Mankind’s soul .

as a species without the contributions and roles of women , and equally the contributions of men mankind would not be where we are.

To be complete a species any species needs both to exist and survive and thrive and be as one people . It is Gods design from the first of us for them to come together and be fruitful and multiply both physically and spiritually

I want to applaud you for being open to ask this question. There is a tremendous amount of vulnerability that comes with putting something this sensitive in front of a group like this. As Christians our job is to approach any topic with grace and love. I do believe most of the posts were in-line with this. I would offer a different take on this. While I agree with the sentiment here - that we need to be grounded in the truth of reality I also know this question is a reality in our society today. I truly believe that our entire focus on things like this is not an accident. Satan is a crafty being and has many ways to distract us from the truth. To broaden the discussion, lets also include those that have gender issues of all types. Our society embraces those that are born as one gender and decide they want to be the other gender. We have doctors and judges who are fighting against parents to sustain children in their desire to change their gender identity - sometimes to the point of taking damaging drugs. What a travesty. As you evaluate your choice of pronouns I would ask you to consider the fact that there are only two genders - mail and female.. Even if an individual make the decision to 'transition' they remain the original gender they were born into. A full fledged transitioned male to female is still genetically a male. Denying this fact and forcing unnatural chemicals into his body to force outward appearance change is damaging physically. In the case of pronoun choice a decision to buy into the culture that tries to make this normative is also very damaging. If you are uncomfortable somehow with the proper pronouns that describe you i would ask you to dig deeply to understand why. Use your struggle as a way to help others who similarly struggle. Know that the struggle is not bad and can be an opportunity for growth.

Love and peace to you!

You make a good point, thank you
We know that God created two genders. I'm not really clear on why being called she/her bothers you. Can you be a little more clear on that? Thanks.

I just can't understand the concern or how being referred to as she/her could be offensive to any Christian woman.

I'm from the south, so I've been referred to by many different things by complete strangers, such as sugar, honey, darling etc. etc.
I don't even find that offensive...lol... but some women may find it offensive and I can see their point.

However, I cannot understand how being referred to as she/her could be offensive to any Christian woman.

As Christians, I can see no reason to be offended by personal pronouns that are appropriate to our gender.

Like one the above posters mentioned, this is something you should seek the Lord about to try to find out why this offends you so that you can deal with it properly.

One and only answer: Do not pander to people's delusions of that scale.
