Why would you not start at the beginning of the proverb ..
If Jesus is Wisdom who's ' prudence ' ( verse 12 )? the Father? I jest of course .

1¶Doth not wisdom cry? and understanding put forth her voice?
2She standeth in the top of high places, by the way in the places of the paths.
3She crieth at the gates, at the entry of the city, at the coming in at the doors.
4Unto you, O men, I call; and my voice is to the sons of man.
5O ye simple, understand wisdom: and, ye fools, be ye of an understanding heart.
6Hear; for I will speak of excellent things; and the opening of my lips shall be right things.
7For my mouth shall speak truth; and wickedness is an abomination to my lips.
8All the words of my mouth are in righteousness; there is nothing froward or perverse in them.
9They are all plain to him that understandeth, and right to them that find knowledge.
10Receive my instruction, and not silver; and knowledge rather than choice gold.
11For wisdom is better than rubies; and all the things that may be desired are not to be compared to it.
12I wisdom dwell with PRUDENCE , and find out knowledge of witty inventions

"Nevertheless death reigned from Adam until Moses, "
Is this about Original Sin? The people later addressed would have already sinned from the original sin. It makes sense for there to be other existing people for Adam and Eve to spread a soul with ..after they fell. We don't have the inbreeding argument then.

We don't find ' original sin ' in the bible. When we sin then we sin and fall short of the glory of God . " Original sin ( if this is what you meant) was created by Augustine in the 4th century and even non calvinists don't know how to escape this paradigm.
Babies are not born with Adams guilt . They later sin and fall short because when Adam fell he took the bullseye with him that means we miss the mark . As good as we can try . And because of the fall ,the reason why ( later ) its wrong to ' in breed ' as you call it is due to the further we get away from ground zero ( The fall ) the more unhealthy we are in terms of doing what they did through there children's children ect . Death reigns because we all sin and come short . There is no need to not believe what Genesis actually says happened .

Death passes when we sin . Were not born with Adams guilt. And babies are not born guilty ,doomed from the womb, banished from birth as Augustine duped the church into believing later in the 4th century .
