We are powerless to send anyone to heaven and that includes even a child that was a victim of abortion. Jesus stated that He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. We are not the arbiters who decide who goes to heaven or even hell for that matter. Your logic is a bit fuzzy in this regard.

God gave us the natural instinct of self preservation for a reason.
I have no doubt whatsoever that the child will indeed go to be with the Lord but was only stating that by our own efforts or intentions we cannot send anyone to heaven for that is God's place to decide who makes it and who doesn't.

Actually, no, it isn't. It's up to us to choose to follow Him. God sends no one to hell, we make that choice by the choices we decide to make in life.
