I understand where you're coming from. In my opinion, I agree there is a censorship of right-aligned ideology. The difference we have is that I won't go to a random atheist person's house and demand he and his family hear my belief that Jesus is the Savior of the world. Social media has always been left-leaning, and as unfortunate as it is, it is their right to be biased as 1st amendment rights do not apply to their users. It's no different than my demanding the right to be heard in an atheist's home.

The best thing to do is not be a part of any social media that you feel censors what you believe and stand for. It would be extremely counter-productive and counter-intuitive to help popularize a platform you're against.

Oops didn't see that last line. I agree, but it's the only means I have to keep in touch with my family back home. I'm hoping something else will pop up and I can jump to that. Literally all my family is on FB I think. lol

That is a lie. I have said countless times that I do not support him. You continue to lie despite being told the truth. You are continuing in that lie, and in bearing false witness against a neighbor. That is by definition un-Christian.

I wouldn't say I "mocked" him or have "hate" for him. I will say that I spoke vehemently and freely against him, because I believe he was extremely dangerous in the position that he was in for 4 years. More than 1/2 of Americans agree with me. A lot of Christians agree with me. A huge majority of the free world agrees with me. The Russians LOVED having him in office. If that wasn't enough to make people think he was dangerous, I don't know what would convince them.

You disagree. That is your right. I won't apologize for it.

You spew lies, that is a problem. It is your right to spew lies. But if you're going to claim to be Christian, I'm going to point out that Christians do not spew lies.

They were. Calling someone names is un-Christian. It doesn't matter how "righteous" you think you are. Your behavior was called out by several people who even agreed with you. One of your cohorts even suggested you had dementia. If your behavior is such that some people -- even people who generally agree with you -- think you're losing your mind, you may want to consider what you're saying and doing.
nor do I want your apology your opinion is just that I can openly disagree and still answer back

I think in the near future, the conversation/debate will be focused on "should 1st amendment rights be forced upon private corporations/platforms".

Conservative Republicans will almost unanimously vote to push for it as they are the side that gets censored more. Democrats will have the ironic stance and say "let business be sovereign of their own product".

As a Libertarian, I try not to pick and choose when I want to use a particular argument. Generally, I feel private business owners should run their business as they see fit, with minimal interference from the government. So even though I wish corporations choose to not censor a particular ideology, I am hesitant to agree that government should get involved. More often than not, bad things happen when the government gets involved.

“I seen”, that’s how most folks down home Lower Alabama’s speaking. Leastways in rural areas (not that we really have any urban areas lol).

I been told by complete strangers many a-time that I must be a non native English speaking person due to my rural, redneck vernacular. Reckon it looks bad in writing, but orally I’d say it sounds sort of like English lol.
Ah, yes. Putting a southern drawl on it, it makes more sense.

I have not witnessed such censorship by the US government. I have witnessed "censorship" by various corporate entities, some right-aligned and some left-aligned, but a business can choose its own content. It's not censorship, it's just the corporation making decisions about what to allow and what not to allow. Censorship is when a government agency disallows a certain point of view. If you have some evidence of that happening in the US, bring it forward. Otherwise, you're crying wolf.

The difference we have is that I won't go to a random atheist person's house and demand he and his family hear my belief that Jesus is the Savior of the world.
You may not, but millions of Christians do this All. The. Time. And you're lying if you claim you don't know that.

Social media has always been left-leaning
This is not true. There are plenty of right-leaning social media out there. There are also plenty of neutral social media.

I actually generally agree with this.

While I normally side with the liberals on some issues, including gay rights, when it comes to businesses, this is one place where liberals and I part ways.

I am a tax preparer, and own my own business. If I wanted to say that I refuse to do taxes for, say, gay couples, or Republicans, or Democrats, or white people, or whatever demographic, I should have the right to make that decision. It would be a STUPID decision to make. Why would I want to deny business? I want to serve as many people as possible. I don't care what your story is. Unless you're asking me to commit tax fraud, I want your business.

While this can be true for some, perhaps you, others try to defend Biden as a more Godly, good, family man. And then they are called out on their hypocrisy. If you're holding up morals as a standard, Biden is no different.
it's great I placed 11 hours and hiibromom on ignore. Now I don't have to see them :)

It will be trump that needs luck:

Excerpts from

What Trump faces on Jan. 20, 2021

As soon as he becomes a private citizen, Trump will be stripped of the legal armor that has protected him from pending cases both civil and criminal.

On Jan. 20, 2021, around noon, Joe Biden will take the oath of office as president and Donald Trump will lose both his job and one of its most important perks.

Trump has faced investigations involving his campaign, his business and his personal behavior since he took the oath of office himself four years ago. As soon as he becomes a private citizen, however, he will be stripped of the legal armor that has protected him from a host of pending court cases both civil and criminal.

He will no longer be able to argue in court that his position as the nation's chief executive makes him immune to prosecution or protects him from turning over documents and other evidence. He will also lose the help of the Justice Department in making those arguments.

The Manhattan district attorney's case

Former Trump lawyer Michael Cohen pleaded guilty in 2018 to campaign finance violations for paying adult film star Stormy Daniels to keep silent about an affair she alleges she had with Trump. The indictment alleged that Cohen had paid Daniels $130,000 before the 2016 election for the benefit of "Individual-1," an unindicted co-conspirator described as an "ultimately successful candidate for president." But federal prosecutors in the Southern District of New York didn't seek charges against Trump, who would have been immune from prosecution regardless while he was president.

Two prosecutors in New York seem to have picked up where federal prosecutors left off in examining Trump's finances.
Manhattan District Attorney Cy Vance is looking into a variety of allegations of financial improprieties. Court documents show that Vance is investigating "possibly extensive and protracted criminal conduct at the Trump Organization," Trump's family business, which could include falsifying business records, insurance fraud and tax fraud.

While the campaign finance violation of Individual-1 isn't a federal case, New York state law says falsifying business records in furtherance of an illegal act is a felony. Cohen has also alleged that Trump effectively uses two sets of numbers in his business, one with higher values to secure loans and a second with lower values to minimize taxes, according to his congressional testimony and published interviews. While Trump has declined to release his tax returns, saying he is under audit, The New York Times obtained many years of his tax records and determined that he had paid no federal income tax for 10 of the years and $750 in each of two other years.

These sensationalized and dramatized stories are just red meat. It keeps the left versus right paradigm active and makes you feel like you're getting justice for perceived wrongs.

Lots of noise, barely any action. Bet on it.

Hardly, they couldn't go after a sitting president based on some memo written by lawyers at the DOJ.

They wrote a news article about nothing but pure speculation. It's meant to keep you hungry in anticipation for more. The American public are blood thirsty to see their political enemies crucified. Kind of like when people used to chant "lock her up!" and literally nothing happened to her. These people aren't going to pay for their real or perceived crimes.

Pay attention, as soon as a story runs out of steam they quickly change narratives and use a lot of loaded language to sensationalize nothing. Again, a lot of noise and no action.

Out of all of the "scandals" from the past four years they all flopped. Everything from corruption in the DNC, to leaked memos, leaked audio, Russiagate, Kavanaugh hearings, etc. It's all political theater. You all are taking this wayyyyyy too seriously.

You lost your credibility completely. Stop trying to pretend you're something you aren't. Your argument on abortion is a liberal stand. You've revealed yourself, everyone saw it. Now stop. It looks foolish.
