God bless you. That means you don't understand. I tried even harder.
God bless you. That means you don't understand. I tried even harder.
I ever said abolishSays hang not abolish might want to rethink that.
I never said you couldWithout the Spirit you can't follow your man fabricated doctrine.
Dude, for Someone who insists we follow Gods commands, yu continue to break the command about bearing False witness, I never said there were only two. I never said the commands where no longer valid (break they and you sin) and I have never said their were only twoThe feast days were ceremonial in preparation for the coming and sacrifice of Christ
How ironic says the man that believes there is one or two commandments.
Could it be that the purpose behind all these posts of yours is to promote wanting to be disobedient?
I know when God speaks, I hear, through his word,Hmm I am getting old.. and I can't hear anything at all!Smile
Oh I know perfectly well.I guess you will never understand the context of (Matthew 22) if you don't know what a summary means.
You are not following Paul at all. Paul is explaining all about the law and all these explanations have a conclusion. Your conclusion is not the conclusion that Paul gives us. Here are some of the conclusions Paul gives us:It's in context which is why you have no response to what Paul said. The law worked wrath...that's a bad thing. Only the law of Christ of the new covenant is a blessing.
It slipped my mind, you have so often stated that we are not obliged, you say. And it is because of your interpretation of the Lord speaking to Israel only.In Exodus 23:14-17, God says,
14 “Three times a year you shall celebrate a feast to Me. 15 You shall keep the Feast of Unleavened Bread; for seven days you are to eat unleavened bread, as I commanded you, at the appointed time in the month of Abib, for in that month you came out of Egypt. And no one is to appear before Me empty-handed. 16 Also you shall keep the Feast of the Harvest of the first fruits of your labors from what you sow in the field; also the Feast of the Ingathering at the end of the year when you gather in the fruit of your labors from the field. 17 Three times a year all your males shall appear before the Lord God.
"You shall" and "as I commanded you" don't sound like "suggestions" to me. Rather, they sound like laws which is appropriate as they are part of the Law.
Yep to lead us to christThe feasts outline the plan the Lord has for our salvation, from Christ at Passover to the new heaven and earth at the feast of Tabernacles.
For non believers, your correct(Hebrews 10:16) This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them; [This is speaking after Christ's final sacrifice so sorry your mistaken Law is still there not abolished]
LolThis cannot be, for the ten commandments were given by Moses and they contain ways to love. If we love we do not lie, do not steal, do not murder. Moses was also told to give commands that are not laws but that taught the Israelites about the law like diet to teach keeping pure and fleshly circumcision to teach to be circumcised to the lord. Paul called them schoolmasters. These are the laws of Moses. The holy spirit replaces these laws.
In order to be justified, you had to do what Moses commanded,I don't think they realize the ritual laws ordinances one had to follow in order to be justified to God but obviously Christ's sacrifice fulfilled all this.
You do not seperate them, you put them where they belongHow can you possible separate the laws that the Lord gave to man? The only separation I can see in the laws is the separation of love. God is love, and if a law reflects love, how can you say it is not of God so we are "no longer in bondage".
Obedience to law gives freedom, not bondage. If it binds and is not a blessing, it is not a law of the Lord. Just ask an alcoholic or a person with any addiction if he is in bondage or freedom. To love is to be free, to hate is to be in bondage.
Amen, God talk to us in his word, do we listen? You hear it in your mind when you read the typed words.
Once again, the law is a wholeI never mentioned feasts days once although I do think you should acknowledge communion with non alcoholic grape juice.
Once again, a false accuser. So what do you advocate disobedience.
He fulfilled the lawBefore you put words in my mouth which is all your good at why don't you just ask my belief which is Christ's sacrifice fulfilled those feast that were in preparation for his coming and sacrifice.
No one else is either.I just knew but don't bother I'm not buying in to one commandment of love.
No one says thisI'm not imposing anything Jesus said if you love me keep my commandments but others are telling me there are none to keep but love.
