Even if the vaccine is not the mark of the beast, I believe that we are being programmed to receive the mark of the beast.

Right now you cannot enter a shop if you do not have a mask on. The mask is not the mark of the beast, but you cannot buy or sell without having it on.

Then very soon we will not be able to buy or sell without getting vaccinated.

Also there are people in different parts of the world that protested against the wearing of masks. And very soon there are people who will be protesting against the vaccine.
Other additional rules might be added in order to buy or sell, which might result in more protests.
Soon people will grow weary of protesting and when the mark of the beast emerges people might no longer feel like protesting against it.

I believe that we are being programmed or mentally trained to receive the mark of the beast and I believe that by the time the actual mark of the beast emerges, we might think that it is another additional requirement given in order to buy or sell. And possibly by the time it emerges, it is possible that people would be tired of protesting.
This will result in many people easily accepting mark of the beast.

I do not think many people will easily accept the mark of the beast. A form of subtle deception needs to be done in order for them to do so.

Overall, with many things happening today, that mimic the mark of the beast, it is becoming difficult to identify what the true mark of the beast is.

Yes, we know from Scripture that there will be strong end-times deception.

I believe that the best starting point is to first determine who the beast is and then determine what his mark is. But I think that the discussion as to who the beast is should probably be in another thread.

It appears as if we're being "conditioned" to accept the Mark. If you look up ID 2020 it holds some relevance.

I know someone in California and it's very concerning what they're doing. I spoke with them and a neighbor had told them that while everyone was told to stay indoors they saw men installing things on the telephone poles. Someone else said they were installing 5G in schools while everyone was told to stay indoors. So a lot of people are suspicious.

The "forced" of verse 16 is not a subtle matter. Oh sure, there will be those that say "I'll take one please" because they don't want to be killed!!!
Let's not ignore the plain tenor of the sentences in the context. It is not that of being forced due to inconvenience as the consequence of not conforming. It is clearly that of being forced like what they experienced in the first century when they were forced to worship the image of Caesar or Zeus of be killed. This is the kind of forced we are dealing with here. Not one of inconvenience but immediate execution.

I would hesitate to say that being threatened with death is equal to being forced, because death is still a better choice. To me forced would be like, against our wills, tied up and held like a calf is, while being branded. It would not be a sin to chose death over the mark. Jesus chose death over sin.

You can't buy or sell without having money or something of value worth selling. Does that mean economy is getting us ready for the Mark of the Beast. We don't need to get ready for it, it will be a totalitarian government. Take it or die. Remember he will demand to be worshipped as God.

The vaccines (plural) are a blessing from God. I give glory to God for giving us knowledge on how to defeat them.

It is our responsibility to subdue and dominate hostile forces of nature where we can. We don't let lions and tigers eat our children and we defeat viruses that would kill us with vaccines.

There are 9 vaccines in 3rd phase testing, about 51 are in 1st and 2nd phase testing.
