I know what the “many” claim about being born again. But according to scripture being "born again" happens when we are all changed in the twinkling of an eye. Thats when our corruptible puts on the incorruptible. This only makes sense because we are givin new bodies before entering the kingdom. So, are we born again twice?

PHIL.3 [20] For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ:[21] WHO SHALL CHANGE OUR VILE BODY, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.

1PETER1
[4] To AN INHERITANCE INCORRUPTIBLE, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you,
[5] Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto SALVATION READY TO BE REVEALED IN THE LAST TIME.
[9] Receiving the END OF YOUR FAITH, EVEN THE SALVATION OF YOUR SOULS.[10] Of which salvation the prophets have inquired and searched diligently, who prophesied of the grace that should come unto you:
[13] Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and HOPE TO THE END FOR THE GRACE THAT IS TO BE BROUGHT UNTO YOU AT THE REVELATION OF JESUS CHRIST;
[23] BEING BORN AGAIN, NOT OF CORRUPTIBLE SEED, BUT OF INCORRUPTIBLE, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.

1COR.15
[42] So also is the resurrection of the dead. IT IS SOWN IN CORRUPTION; IT IS RAISED IN INCORRUPTION:
[43] It is sown in dishonour; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power:
[44] It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. THERE IS A NATURAL BODY, AND THERE IS A SPIRITUAL BODY. ........
[49] And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly. Phil.3{21}
[50] Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; NEITHER DOTH CORRUPTION INHERIT INCORRUPTION.
[51] Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but WE SHALL ALL BE CHANGED,
[52] In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
[53] FOR THIS CORRUPTIBLE MUST PUT ON INCORRUPTION, and this mortal must put on immortality.

Alls ya really gotta do is read 1Peter1{23} and 1Cor.15{53} and youll understand what it means to be “born again” according to the Word

We are born again to a spiritual life as we sojourn here on earth. When our bodies return to dust, to sleep, our soul goes back to God, who gave it. At the last day we are changed, not born again, and our bodies reunite with our soul.

Born again is the spiritual birth. The spiritual baby is conceived when God's DNA, the word of God, combines with our DNA. The result is the NEW MAN in us.

Being born again is of the spirit and has nothing to do with our DNA which is natural, i.e. flesh. Our DNA is not changed when we are born again. It remains exactly the same as it was before we were born again.

22Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently: 23Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever. 24For all flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass withereth, and the flower thereof falleth away: 25But the word of the Lord endureth for ever. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you.

You must include the immediate context of 1 Peter 1:23. It is obvious that he is telling his readers that they are NOW born again by their faith in the Gospel. Yes this is the beginning of more to come which includes the glorification of our bodies and shining like the stars in the future, but he clearly states that we are born again now and it is because we are born again we can love one another with a pure heart fervently.

see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently: 23Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, ...And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you.

It is true that it is only the down payment; the Holy Spirit making us born again and living in us is only the down payment of more to come which includes the transformation into incorruptible, and immortal bodies.

I'm sure this is falling on deaf ears so I want waste any more of your time.

No stop endeavoring to create confusion. Born once into this world by the birth in the flesh. Born again in Christ to an eternal inheritance by the Holy Spirit.

Sealed unto the day of redemption when the body of flesh is transformed into a glorified body like unto our risen Lord Jesus. This body of corruption is changed when we receive the promise of God and are presented faultless before the throne by our Savior.

For the cause of Christ

Faith in the Gospel (Word of God) is required. Trying to argue with me about that is a waste of your time. I agree with you on that. Look... We agreed!

JOHN 3:6
That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of The Spirit is Spirit' -
the 'greek word' for 'born, and begotten, = gennao, which means in greek-thinking,
'you were born at the point of sperm meeting the ovum' -
another interesting point is that the 'term, born again', was commonly used to identify
a 'leper who had been cleansed and was now able to 'come to the temple' and offer their sacrifices'...

The words of the bible are what produces the spiritual man in us, it's not instant, it requires work from heavenly Jerusalem. Paul gives us an example of how Christ is formed in us. Paul is talking to his saved Galatian brothers in Christ. We know they are already saved because Paul tells us they are.

Gal 4:19 My little children, of whom I travail in birth again until Christ be formed in you,

Paul, who is heavenly Jerusalem, is travailing with them in the word, trying to form Christ in them. Much like I'm doing with you now.

If we examine the sentence structure, and the context - the discussion with Nicodemus, the matter becomes simple. A man (and woman) are born of the womb. That is Gods ordination (1st Cor.11:12). Our Lord proposed to Nicodemus ANOTHER and ADDITIONAL birth. This is verified by Nicodemus' answer. "Can a man climb back into his mother's womb, and be born another and additional time?" Jesus chides with him. He, in effect, says; "Nicodemus, you belong to the the most learned in Israel. You have Moses' Oracles and sit in his Seat (Matt.23:2). After studying for so long did you never ask yourself what would have happened if Adam had eaten of the Tree of life?"

Adam was a perfect human. As men go, he lacked nothing. But could he, as a perfect man, fulfill the high task of God's calling? The answer is NO. And the illustration of this inadequacy is quick in coming. God declared it inappropriate for man to be alone. And God purposed to give man a MATE UP TO HIS STANDARD. The living creatures are called to parade past Adam in search of their names and whether they be fit for Adam. The dog, so loving, so forgiving, so uncomplaining, so thankful, so loyal, so obedient, so well made for his task, is presented to Adam. Why was he rejected as a "help MEET"?

The reason is that despite all the qualities we men desire in a woman, he was still a dog. His NATURE disbarred him. He was NOT "MEET" for Adam. He was limited to "dog-nature". So, when the roll-call was complete, no MATE "up to the standard of Adam" could be found. And in the same way, Jesus, born of a woman, making Him 100% Man, but Firstborn of Creation, and Creator Himself, making Him God, could not be satisfied with Adam - even in his perfection as a human. He lacked the nature of God. If Adam had eaten of the Tree of Life, he would have possessed human life in perfection AND the divine Life. Adam would been organically equipped to be BOTH humankind and a MATE perfect for Jesus.

Nicodemus should have known this. You do not need the New Testament to know this. Nicodemus could fathom the weather and the winds, but he, and all Israel, had not stopped to think what would have happened if Adam was obedient. Adam would have been MAN with the divine Nature. Now, some 4,000 years later, the Tree of Life is presented to Israel. But Nicodemus should have known another thing from Moses, and the prophets. He should have known that God is a Spirit, and that that DIVINE NATURE could only be transmitted Spirit to spirit. Although the mouth is the channel, the Life of God does not lower itself to dwell in flesh - no matter how perfect. Just as God is higher than His creature, so is the dwelling place of God in Man deeper than his flesh. So,

"That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit" (John 3:6) AND .... "... he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit" (1st Corinthians 6:17)

One of the great hindrances to understanding John 3:3-6 is the theory that Adam died spiritually when he ate of the forbidden Tree. Not only does scripture never say this, not only can a spirit not die, not only is their no case of a spirit dying in the whole Bible, but this theory PRESUPPOSES that Adam had spiritual life to lose! But Adam never ate of the Tree of Life. From whence comes such bold speculation!? The answer is, "PRIVATE INTERPRETATION"! This calamitous theory leads Christians to think that the REBIRTH is a solution to sin and death. IT IS NOT! It is the due process of a mere man receiving, as an intrinsic and organic possession, THE DIVINE NATURE OF GOD to make him "up to the standard of" Jesus - the Divine Man

Of course, any such explanation is not complete without the PROBLEM to rebirth - sin (singular) and sins (plural). God cannot indwell a man who is polluted by sin, just as He will not indwell a Temple that has been dedicated to swine. And the grand type of this - and its solution is further on in our Lord's discourse with Nicodemus. In John 3:14-16. Israel were bitten by the serpents. Not any serpents, but serpents that had been judged - for they were fiery. And the poison of these vipers now coursed through the veins of the murmuring Israelites. They were not only poisoned, but their very bloody nature was that of a viper. And only by a man INNOCENT of the vipers life, could be made substitute. He must be a BRONZE viper - indicating that He takes the place of the viper BUT DOES NOT POSSESS THE NATURE of a viper. And what is the issue of the BRONZE VIPER?

The result of the bronze viper was NOT that Israel were HEALED! It says in Numbers 21:9 that if a bitten Israelite looked upon the Bronze Viper, hanging on a Tree, "HE LIVED". The venom of the viper that had become the intrinsic nature of the Israelite, and which led to death, was not only reversed, not only eradicated, BUT REPLACED BY THE LIFE OF THE SUBSTITUTE! Thus John 3:14-16 says;

14 "And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up:
15 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.
16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."

Adam was a complete and perfect man BEFORE he sinned. But as a complete man he was still short of God's requirements. He was "commanded" to eat of the Tree of Life. He did not, AND he ate of a tree that set viper's nature into him. Now, he was not even a complete man. So Another must take his place FIRST before men can EAT again. The TREE and the BRONZE are for sin and sins, but the LIFE of the Bronze serpent is ETERNAL LIFE. A LIFE that makes mere men "up to the standard of Jesus"! A man BELIEVES in the cross and the blood for his sins, but rebirth is only when God has approved the sacrifice. Sin and sins are put away by an OUTWARD work on Golgotha. Receiving God's LIFE is an INWARD work on Christ's Resurrection day (Jn.20:22). The Lamb of Israel has its blood OUTSIDE the door, but the eating of the Lamb takes place INSIDE the house and INSIDE the Israelite. And so with us Christians;

3 "According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:
4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust"
(2 Peter 1:3-4)

You have gotten "born again" mixed up with the "rapture". We are saved when we are born again, but we do not get our glorified bodies until the Rapture, which precedes Christ's Second Coming by seven years. The rapture is yet future, but it is imminent (may happen at any time).

We are born again to a spiritual life as we sojourn here on earth.

[13] Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and HOPE TO THE END FOR THE GRACE THAT IS TO BE BROUGHT UNTO YOU AT THE REVELATION OF JESUS CHRIST;
[23] BEING BORN AGAIN, NOT OF CORRUPTIBLE SEED, BUT OF INCORRUPTIBLE, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.

1Peter1 is all about being born again. Its not something that happens during the life time of a believer. Thats plain to see.....
An inheritance
Revealed in the last time
End of your faith
Hope to the end
Grace brought at the revelation of Christ
Being born again

Ya know how some will say they were saved and then tell ya the specific day that they were born again. That doesnt fit with scripture.

ROMANS 8 [24] For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for? [25] But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it.

Scripture above says you are saved by hope and hope that is seen is not of hope. Now if someone claims they are already saved {born again} then what does he hope for?

1PETER1 [13] Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and HOPE TO THE END FOR THE GRACE THAT IS TO BE BROUGHT UNTO YOU AT THE REVELATION OF JESUS CHRIST;

Hope to the end. Grace! When? When Christ returns.

1 THESSALONIANS 5 [2] For yourselves know perfectly that THE DAY OF THE LORD SO COMETH as a thief in the night. [3] For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape. [4] But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief. [5] Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness. [6] Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober. [7] For they that sleep sleep in the night; and they that be drunken are drunken in the night. [8] But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, THE HOPE OF SALVATION.

Yup. Still hoping for salvation come the Day of the Lord

[13] Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and HOPE TO THE END FOR THE GRACE THAT IS TO BE BROUGHT UNTO YOU AT THE REVELATION OF JESUS CHRIST;

1 Pet 1:23, "Being born" is in the present tense. "To be born" is in the future tense, which would be in accordance with your false interpretation.
